I was thinking about this today and I realized that conspiracy people just connect dots that are not there and think they are smarter than everyone because they know the truth but its all based on conjecture. Common actions include, way too active on facebook and fighting for it with no real proof. But WHY, its clearly cause they want the fantasy and not the reality. If they wanted the reality the smart thing to do would be to get a fake name, and under that fake name get an apartment and a computer but no internet and you get a bank account and a security deposit box and a storage unit. You become a government official or maybe an account, either one. And you get hard proof. you climb the ladder at your entry level government job and you climb the ranks however you can and you get real hard proof. Im talking pictures accounts and money trails that are suspicious and you follow the string the whole way down the rabbit hole until you figure out the real truth. Or along the way you would realize that you were deranged and that no one is out to get you and doing nefarious things behind your back and then you got your self a good government job.

That is the only rational thing to do.

My post about some Israelis who embraced flat-earth conspiracy theories was removed because it allegedly violated the "something stupid" rule, even though the article was quite clearly about the conspiracy theory.

The irony, of course, is that most conspiratarded conspiracies are, by definition, stupid and idiotic. However, it seems to be the kind of content they don't want you to see, so post it here!
