I'm fucking mortified. It's my first semester of my first year in college. I've never failed a class before, but I am literally unable to pass my mandatory Psych class due to a late assignment/failed midterm. I don't know what to do. I'm fucking miserable and I can't regulate myself. I don't know how to go about telling my parents. Does anyone know how the school handles this kind of thing? I think i'm going to pass the rest of my courses, but I don't know what this means for me. Please help if you can.

Anyone here in Business online courses? The 2 year diploma? Is there actual clases to attend? Is it a good program?

Going through the programs and find myself a little confused on what program exactly is for becoming an RN. I assume it's a specific program, but I'm getting conflicting and multiple "answers" in searches. Anyone know what program it is?

I don’t have a parking pass and I have a class at 4pm and I heard that parking is free after 4pm. How closely is the parking lot being monitored at 3:50 ?

Anyone have wifi issue? I can't connect to the Wi-Fi in my room unless I open the door and stand close to it. I have to stay by the door to do my homework and still frequently disconnected. (Try all my devices)

The moderation for the Conestoga sub is crazy tight to the point it's a struggle to post anything including answering questions other people have. My intention in creating this subreddit ( https://www.reddit.com/r/ConestogaUnsensored/ ) is to give people the chance to post and answer questions without lag time and having to worry about an unreasonable filter. Also things you want future students to know which might involve criticism that doesn't get past the Janies.

Don't know if this sub will take off or not but if anyone comes on here please be reasonable and responsible.

There's a thing we'd do in a militarized environment. Yell, "Make a hole!" to clear a path. I'm very tempted, most days, to do this just to get through and to see the reactions.

I don’t know if anybody else has noticed but jesus, the driving in the parking lot at the doon campus is out of control. Everyone goes way to fucking fast and i’ve almost been hit as a pedestrian walking through the lots multiple times since 2023. Yesterday this lady swerved in front of me going into the parking lot and i completely rear ended her. It’s ridiculous how fast and inattentive people are in these parking lots. SLOW DOWN AND PAY ATTENTION!!!!!!!

So I know the course states equal consideration for this admission is Feb 1. Do you know if they send out some early admissions after Nov 1? Or will they just wait until around March? TIA

I am currently enrolled in the ECE-Resource consultant fall 2024 program online through ontario learn. Long story short I STILL havent been able to complete my placement hours in person, the WIL nurses are useless and conestoga website is the same. I have to get my mmr shots re done because they do not accept the ontario immunization yellow card. When i first started the program it wasnt a problem when I uploaded onto the Hstrax. I know Im past the date for a refund but I'm wondering if I could do 2025 winter intake instead?

Hey everyone! Since flu season is upon us, I thought it might be a good idea to post some helpful reminders so that we can all stay healthy.

1. Please cough/sneeze into your elbow, I feel like we should have learned this in kindergarten but I see a lot of people just coughing or sneezing all over the place

2. Wash your hands! After using the bathroom, before eating, whenever you feel you need it. If you can, use hand sanitizer.

3. Maintain personal hygiene. This includes brushing your teeth, wearing clean clothes, and showering. Keeping yourself clean means you don't let germs stay on you as long. Body sprays are not substitutes for showers. Breath mints are not a substitute for brushing your teeth.

4. Wear a mask if you feel ill. I know at the Doon Campus, we still have racks of them available but you can also get them at pharmacies.

5. Avoid sharing drinks and cigarettes with others. This lessens the chance of germs spreading that way.

Is it all possible to take this program online only? Is there anyway that you could take only 1-2 courses at a time while working?

Hey! If I took prehealth in January 2025 (which I’m assuming would end in August 2025?), would Conestoga accept my application for September 2025 for the RPN/RN (depending on which prehealth I took)? I know some schools require a significant amount of time between programs (a semester) before they will accept an application (UofW wanted me to take a semester off between my current degree and taking a degree with them due to grades not being available until after the deadline). Thanks! Just trying to plan my next steps!
