How did you guys find comp 249 midterm today with Dr. Aiman?
Hey guys, I'm interested in doing the student exchange program Concordia offers but have no idea which courses to take. Has anyone done an exchange abroad? and which courses did u take (especially if ur a jmsb student in accounting? Thank you for any help!
Is anybody down to split the cost for COMM 227 and/or COMM 223 wizeprep final prep videos?
I’ve been learning german for a while now and I really love the language! Are there any clubs or conversation groups at Concordia where I can practice my german? I don’t want to take courses because I have to pay extra and also spend time studying for the course. I also took german courses for a month in Munich and my level is currently at A2 so it’s not really high but if there are any germans who want to meet and become friends it would be great! We could have conversations in a mix of german French qnd English if you guys like!
How was it? Do tell...💀
What are the odds? Graduated during covid and debating applying for the masters program. Any advice on getting letters of recommendations?
🙏 thank you for your help
Do you guys know if comm216 is usually offered in the summer ? I know we are still very far for the summer schedule being released but I am wondering. thanks :)
I just wanted to ask if anyone is taking Germ 201 next semester. And how hard is it ?
Anyone knows if the decisions came out? I haven't received an email from them since my interview.
Thanks for answering
Hello,
For those who don’t know, Muslims have five daily prayers they are expected to perform.
Normally, I wait until I’m off campus, but with my schedule, I’m almost always at university from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
I was considering using one of the study rooms when they’re empty, but I’m a bit nervous about what might happen if a student walks in and sees me. I wonder if they’d understand that I’m praying and not trying to summon a demon, haha.
Idk also if it goes against the university policies.
Any thoughts?
And at which room? Thanks in advance. Nobody is at the department I checked twice. Maybe there was a room booked elsewhere at a different working group pour l'examen. If so consider letting me know svp. THX!

I'm currently taking a semester off from school but I will be starting again this January. My student opus card is expired, which isn't a problem because I only really need it during the winter when it's too cold to walk or bike. I tried renewing my card online but as I am not currently a full time student I am currently not eligible. I was wondering if anyone knows when I can renew it? as I'd like to have it before the winter semester starts.
Thanks
anyone know how i can apply to work at faro before it opens? or do i just wait and check everyday until it does? i don't wanna miss the chance to apply, since i'm guessing they'll be getting a lot of applications. thanks!!
Guys, do we need to start teaching basic manners now?
When y'all use the washroom, keep the place as clean as possible and don't overload it with tissues like your ex would have.
When y'all use the group study room and y'all have eaten there, be responsible to clean up the place and don't leave your unhygienic junk there.
When y'all use the escalator, keep some space for the ones who need to walk down, they could be in some hurry.
When y'all don't need to have silence when y'all do your stuff, like listening to a podcast or whatever, don't just occupy the group study rooms and hamper it for the ones who need it.
When y'all are in the library, maintain some silence in the reading room.
If yall are waiting to get into the Guy Concordia metro, wait for the ones inside to get out, enter in from the sides and don't just stand in the middle like donkeys.
Y'all represent your countries, your rich heritage guys. Don't defecate like this in front of people so openly
i have a labx1 next week and im wondering if i have to go if i've gotten all the labs right so far (lab 1 to 5).
I am a full time international student enrolled in a graduate program. I applied for a full time provincial french course hoping to get admitted in the summer, but timeline got fucked up.
I am currently in my fall term and just got admitted to the french course. Obviously I can’t do both so what can I do ? Can I ask them to switch me from a full time to part time course? If thats not possible, Can i just not show up to any classes ? What would be the consequences ?
Hi guys
I just got my midterm grade yesterday and i failed with 40%. Since the day i wrote the midterm, i've been putting a lot of work and now I'm able to solve all the past midterms and finals. i've watched all the videos of Professor Leonard and it helped me a lot.
So, my question is if im able to get above 85-90% on the past midterms and finals, am i good for the final? Or what do you guys recommend me to do? I'm pretty much focused for the finals and wanna do eveything i can.
Did anyone get their grades back ?
Okay I've been seen some posts talking about this topic but it's disgusting. The washrooms in the JMSB are disgusting, they are dirty, they smell awful, and also there's blood everywhere like someone just commited a crime there (I'm just dramatic you know what I mean).
So this is petition for every girl who uses the toilets, please leave the place clean (this scene I'm describing it's inside the girls washroom) and also I'm wondering, why is the washrooms so dirty?
Someone have a good explanation for this situation?
chat yall need to start putting ur phones on dnd when in the “quiet” rooms, i dont wanna hear ur phone vibrating every 2 seconds!!
Hey lads!
I'm having a practice session on AC circuits for ELEC 273 next week.
First one's free!
Dm if interested :)
Hi, I am currently at Concordia in a certificate trying to get into JMSB it’s been a while. I only have Math209 left which I am retaking this semester because I got a C and needed a B-
I applied to another school and got into the program I want for next semester. I am leaning towards just changing schools.
So my question is should I just drop math209 this semester (I won’t be refunded tho) since I have already passed the class and it won’t be credited at the other school?
Hey guys, what's your midterm grade? My class average is 45%, how will we fare in the final? I'm with Abi Nader
Grades are out!! how did you guys do? I thought I did so well like excellent, but i got average, Im a bit disappointed .
This being an online class, i find it VERY difficult to work on and apply the concepts. Is there a reasonable way to study for cases/exams? Or even better, does the university have tutors for these subjects?
I’m an international student starting MS in applied CS the next summer semester. I read that the duration for summer semester is 6.5 weeks where as the fall and winter semester last 13 weeks. Is it advisable to start in summer?
Also, if summer term finished within 6.5 weeks, does that mean I have a bigger break before I start the next term?
Does anyone know which room the COMP 249 exam with aiman is in tomorrow?
This might be subject to personal opinion, or perhaps there are some very unbiased answers here, but what would you say are the easiest electives to take here?
