Honeycomb like so not the real deal but decent!
I was trying to sell my two tickets to the live CONAF on May 7th because I was so exited to buy it thinking it was the Orpheum Theater in SF and not LA. But boy did I feel stupid when I read the ticket later and it said LA. I had to do a lot to go on a weeknight (time off work, pulling kids out of school, etc.) but I eventually convinced the wife (call the wife!) to to make it a family trip to SoCal. I do have an extra ticket still however.
I’m really excited I get to go still.
With all the comedians in town for Netflix is A Joke, anyone want to guess or make a wish for who the celebrity guest will be?
Did any radio/press cover the song? Wonder if it they made a dent w/ plays at all.
sona:
I always like the moments when Conan just hangs out with the Chill Chums without any guests. And this one really deserves the 1M views!
When Conan refers to his own masculinity in jest he does this inflection where he says “I am a mahn” or “but a mahn.” Can anyone pinpoint the Warner Bros. Cartoon or 1940’s record or wherever he’s pulling that from?
You know, the one with them in the shower, naked. I never watched the video and I saw a clip where Jeff Goldblum mentioned it, I’m so curious now.
Conan frequently brings up being one of six siblings. I think Neil and Luke are the ones that get name-dropped most often in the context of Conan's origin story, and I'm sure they are all happy being private citizens out of the celebrity spotlight, but I would love to hear a podcast episode with some, or all, of them around a table dishing on young Conan and his inevitible rise to fame!
does anyone remember the episode where mike sweeney was singing a weird song that made conan and the gang laugh
I’m planning to do another Dr. Arroyo compilation (Hot Ones compilation: https://youtu.be/jrpPx5TFwvE?si=FiSlnWHnxuXRAEqA). Help me not miss anything!
Has anyone ever heard of a female comedian named Susan Rice? I just saw a clip of her and damn it, she’s hilarious! Looked her up- she’s been around a long time, and still performs stand up in her 70s. So for those who have more of a social media presence and know Aaron Bleyart-help me start a campaign to get this woman on his podcast!

*I would link this correctly and tag Aaron myself, but I have a funky version of Reddit that doesn’t let me do the fancy stuff 🤣👵
There was a bit during a show years ago where a guy was going going somewhere and Conan asked “how are you gonna get there?” And he goes “jetski Conan, jetski.” And a few other things but they all end terribly and hilariously. Can anyone help find a clip?
We all know Conan is quite well read and loves to read nonfiction about random historical topics. Have you guys ever heard him mention fiction he enjoys? I’m curious because didn’t he study literature at Harvard? I once heard him mention that he likes Seamus Heaney poetry but that’s all I’ve been able to gather. Any specific titles or authors? Fiction or nonfiction.
Edit: what do you think he probably likes?
In today's Taylor Tomlinson episode, the topic of difficult guests came up in the context of them both being late-night hosts. Conan paused for a beat, as if he was debating naming a name, but then dropped that Lance Armstrong was a show guest that he couldn't connect with. Given all that we've learned about Lance in the years since the anecdote took place, I don't think anyone is surprised to hear this, but it was surprising to hear Conan name a name. The topic has been alluded to before on the podcast, and he's always come across as being careful not to specifically name any guest. Is this a first, or can anyone think of another time he's identified a difficult guest by name?
Loved the first season (even though its a little shorter than what I was expecting). Was wondering if there’s news on possible second season and if there’s one, where should Conan go next? Would love to see Conan visit Brazil, India, or Egypt as possible next destinations.
I’m back here in 3 months since my last post. Can we please get a CONAF episode with the great Harland Williams? Conan had great chemistry with him during their late night encounters. These two men are perhaps the funniest alive these days, especially since Norm passed away (RIP Norm).
