Due to the current state of the game I am at a bit of a loss when it comes to finding information on decklists, guides, etc. Would you be so kind to recommend me any website, discord server, youtube channel, ...? I know that the content has been stopped for a long time but as there are no changes in the game I can use it as a guide.
By the way, I have heard about Goblins decks. I would appreciate a good list of this deck. Thanks again.
Hello, I am a relatively new player in TESL. I played very little quite some time ago. My collection is very basic but I have resources saved (6k gold and 30k soul). How do you advise me to start?
One of the biggest doubts I have is what to do with the gold. I don't know if I should buy packs, buy some theme decks or reserve the gold for collections (Ex. Forgotten Hero) and/or stories. I have consulted some decks and I have souls to create them but I see that there are cards that can only be obtained in stories and collections in the store.
I am grateful for any kind of advice in these first steps. Thanks!

The budget decks listed in the subreddit wiki are deprecated. Reposting the decks and their deck codes here.
The tri-color decks presume that the tri-color premade decks were bought to build them, so feel free to swap as needed.

Edit: Swapped the order of lists around because the two-color decks are easier to collect early on.
In yesterdays tournament I only saw a few interesting new decks emerging into the competitive level. I had brought a couple of my own. I think the decks I brought had very much the potential to turn the corner and get to championship. They reached semifinals where if it wasn't for the good plays of the opponent and some misplays of my inexperience I would have reached the finals and faced one of my oldest competitive rivals Thuldir. The decks I used 2 of which were similar aggro decks were meant to counter the potential tournament and meta decks.
I found that I needed a deck that was small enough to slip under the bulkier warrior decks and out maneuver the opponent with its lower curve, versatility, and maintaining a large enough reach to finish the job efficiently. I think in the right hands this kind of play style can and will be very effective in tournament play and similar thinking is used in the dagoth, but creating a more aggressive vs value based strategy. Many value creators are left in like DFM, shadow shifts, wardcrafters, and the like are all there, but since I'm looking out to start topping out at turn 5 I really feel like its important to be on the board and stay on the board from turn 1.
I feel the assassin version of this deck has a real focused aggression and plan that makes it very effective on the ladder. It served well and 2-0'd turquoiselink yesterday, but fell short against frenzy who funnily had almost the exact same line-up after bans. They had catapult sorc and warrior decks played both in respective order and I hoped to get under them which was achieved in the first attempts but failed against frenzy. I wanted to create a deck that could control the pace of these match-ups. The success I had creating this deck spawned a second deck.
Most target for ban yesterday was my aggro-dagoth. I had recently been converted to house dagoth because my teammates of TFH TeamFoxHound have been playing mid dagoth with success and enjoying it. I too had the same success for a while but with release of IOM I have had trouble killing the opponent quick enough. So I thought.. why don't I drop the curve like I did in the assassin and I found that I have had much greater success as well. The lower curve allows for me to play creatures like lowercanton smith. A card I love that no one plays. On Ianbits mamoth value spreadsheet it scores pretty damn good and the fact that the stats can be split is just a beautiful thing if you love having the suprise factor. Some cards like unstable madman could come under scrutiny but so far they have performed well and have synergy with all the items and buffs.
The real surprise was how my Control Hlaalu faired. It is showing great potential to be able to control warrior and sorc. It also has some very value driven tools in the control matchups. The idea of the deck might be a little more than most people can stomach but a play style I enjoy quite a bit. Many tradition controls are like a castle... tall walls, big cannons, tar and shit. Hive defenders, javs, rage, all that... manticora if it had guard. I love to take away that value from the opponent. Card that really control the game like cast into time and my new favorite card Magus. Archers gambit leathal package rounds out the early game and a few cards to take away late game.
I think this overall was a strong lineup something different and unexpected but also is continuing to show success. I am looking forward to the new decks and playstyles as the game evolves. GL on the ladder
You look at the latest Crusader list on legends-decks, and you think to yourself, it has all the hallmarks of a classic Token deck: Fifth Legion Trainer, Marked Man, and Divine Fervor. Heck, let's take Pasta's deck from the TRS Classic which he won with, seen here.
Looks like Tokens right? And sure, calling it Token Crusader wouldn't actually be wrong. Marked Man and Raiding party both generate cheap creatures, even though it doesn't run Scouting Patrol. But what's the key card that this deck is missing that would solidify it as a token deck?
Resolute Ally.
If you're running Resolute Ally, there's a good chance your deck is 80%+ yellow (and if you're in Crusader, even higher amounts can be reached like close to 90%). And therein lies the "classic" token list that has been around forever: a deck that is usually interested in taking field lane because it can make favorable trades and buff creatures to slowly create a huge advantage over their opponent.
Aggro Crusader has slowly adapted the ways of Token Crusader, after the Northwind Outpost and Ulfric's Housecarl nerf. It used to run Mighty Ally and Relentless Raider too, but now you almost never see these cards. It takes the Resolute Ally out of tokens and replaces it with Withered Hand, looking to choke out control decks. With this, it does become a little bit weaker against aggro but many find the trade off worth it. Without Resolute Ally, you're not restricted to needing to keep a majority yellow deck, which means you can run some pretty insane cards in red: Ash Berserker, Steel Scimitar, and even natural, 0-cost Nord Firebrands.
These decks have a unique place in the meta because of their extreme consistency at doing what they do. Aggro Hlaalu is the big shiny object hogging all of the attention while both of these decks are sort of sleeping in the background.
Both are solid for ladder play and tournaments, and what you take sort of depends on what you're going up against. Aggro Crusader benefits more against Control from the additional card draw, more reach, and Withered Hand, while Token Crusader has plenty of nifty buffs and ways to stabilize against aggro, including Bruma Profiteer.
So here's iLiKePaStA's deck again, a prime example of Aggro Crusader: https://www.legends-decks.com/deck/51429/trs-classic-winner-ilikepasta-aggro-crusader
HoriuchiFufu's Token Crusader, perhaps one of the best current iterations of tokens: https://www.legends-decks.com/deck/46558/tokens-80-winrate-1st-place-in-the-rumble
Sometimes you even see Withered Hand in a pure token list, as seen in Emikaela's old deck, seen here: https://www.legends-decks.com/deck/38932/emikaela-crusader. Besides Bruma Profiteer and Resolute Ally, Imprison is another distinguishing factor putting this deck firmly in the Token category, despite it having Withered Hands.
Both Aggro and Tokens play out very similarly but the point is they are two distinct decks, each with their own strength and weakness against aggro and control. They are both worthy of having a spot in your collection.

Deck Breakdown:
Random Thoughts: A surprising showing from Battlemage which was the second most popular class after Warrior, and tied with Dagoth. Speaking of Dagoth, the class is all over the place. While its safe to say most builds function somewhat in a mid shell, they range from teetering on Aggro all the way to a much more controlling style ala Koveras.
Only 4 people took Hlaalu: EndoZoa, Mattyborch, Koveras, and Traitor-Joe. Hlaalu is now divisively split between two builds, as can be seen from what EndoZoa and Mattyborch took versus Traitor-Joe and Koveras. EndoZoa's list has diverted from Ash Berserker and Cloudrest Illusionist, instead opting for Mudcrabs and Sharp Eyed Ashkhans. Koveras and Joe's list is the one we know from much of last month's success.
As for expectations, it seems Hlaalu fell a bit short on popularity for this tournament given its great success last month. 3 out of 4 players made it to the semi-finals with it, with only Traitor-Joe falling short (with a first round exit at that; PepeHands). Nix-Ox only showed up once, from Fictional0, which is understandable given the increased difficulty from the client and most players deeming it a more unfavorable meta for the archetype.
Otherwise, this is about what you would expect going into the TRS Preseason Winter Classic - although a bit more control may be expected. Lists were mostly tight from prior tournaments and testing and there wasn't a whole ton of innovation going on. Superthx's token mage introduced enough of a neutral package to bring Steam Constructors, which is always a welcome sight seeing how strong the card is.
And Mid Battlemage still can't decide how many Mighty Conjurings it wants.
