not really a reason to pick jager tech right now, it used to be the Already Winning option, now you go pgrens whether youre winning or losing. currently not a lot of incentive to pick jagers unless aa is necesasry
Can anyone explain to me why it is so fricking hard to let ME choose how i want MY Controls to work? Why the Hell cant i change the Camera Pan Option to Mouse 2?? Why is M1 and M2 Locked at all?
I got a problem, I just came back from UK back to Germany and my playercard still appears as UK? is there a way to fix this man?
Well in Turkey (where I am living) microsoft store is much cheaper than Steam. I bought it and it works perfectly fine and because it's complete edition I have all of the factions (commanders are still needs to be bought with in game currency) and singleplayer dlcs. Only problem I have is that I don't want to grind for commanders and because of I just play singleplayer and skirmishes against bots I just want to download mods that unlocks commander troops or adds new troops to the game. But as it seems like most of this mods are in steamworkshop (especially all units mod). Is it possible to download this mods from steamworkshop ?
(By the way I can still refund it. If it's not worth to keep it I'm just gonna risk it to buy all out of war edition cd key from a random Albanian dude :/ )
It seems Relic give no answers, I even created a github repo for tracking people who cheat but I got banned instantly from reddit!
So someone is seeing and simply deciding to not answering people.
If you don't care about COH2 why you banned someone? If you are banning people why you do not answer to any cheaters emails.
So if you have some moderator who playing games he can ban who he want? Who exactly decided to ban 2 players after 2 years and not banning others? can someone please answer this.
Is there any moderator left in Relic at all?!
Getting a Tiger is great but somehow this felt really satisfying. Am now at weird skill level when I either get smashed or full sorry for the new player!
Just to be clear, I have absolutely zero interest in multiplayer.
From what I can tell, it looks like there're five Companies to choose from: Special Forces, Armour (UK), Armor (US), Airborne and Indian Artillery.
Is that right?
Are planes, ships and partisans treated as separate companies? Or, are they...abilities? For example, will unlocking a particular ship give you 'off map artillery' like the Support Company in CoH 2? Will unlocking a certain plane give you the ability, like the Major from CoH 2, to scout unrevealed areas of the map?
Do you pick three (3) companies like in CoH 2? Or, can you use all of them in the same campaign?
Do you still use companies to block off retreating enemies?
Can the other companies show up on the battle map?
For example, in some of the missions in CoH 2 (Ouren/Houfalize/etc.) you would link up with other armies. Will the other companies be those armies? In CoH 2 it would just be generic forces highlighted in yellow instead of blue. Does it work the same in CoH 3? Or, if I use Indian Artillery to support an attack on the campaign map will they show up on the battle map as well?
Is there a weapon rack?
Based on what I could tell, I might be conflating battlegroup abilities (multiplayer) with company abilities (single player), there seemed to be a lot of options for weapon upgrades. Is there a weapon rack? Would I be able to give any unit whatever weapon I wanted?
Lastly, I'm still a little unclear on which units are available during the single player campaign and how they work together.
For example, if there's a weapon rack, what would be the difference between a Bazooka Unit and a squad equipping two bazookas from the weapon rack?
I'm assuming the Bazooka Unit would have more health and better DPS than a random squad who picked up a couple of bazookas...but that's just an assumption.
Another example would be the Sniper, Scout, Pathfinder and Marksmen units (is this unit even available in single player?).
Are they all basically the same unit?
Any other tips/suggestions about the Italian Campaign would be appreciated!
One feature that I think would be a really cool addition for all factions with paratroopers (para and falls) is if the same squad could be paradropped multiple times. In my opinion one of the coolest aspects of paratroopers is the unique way they arrive on the battlefield. Once on the battlefield however, they just feel like another infantry squad.
Here is my idea:
Paratroopers of all types receive a new ability called "re-deploy" that makes them disappear into the headquarters. This ability costs 50 munitions. Every time this is done, the next paratrooper call in is free, with the new squad having the veterancy and weapons of the squad that was re-deployed. In addition, calling in a paratrooper this way does not trigger the ability cooldown, so multiple paratrooper/fall squads can be re-deployed simultaneously.
Benefits of this change:
Risks of this change:
Could be very strong, cost would need to be appropriately balanced
Any thoughts?
So I am fairly new to this series and I've racked up about 300 hours now and I am getting more and more frustrated with how this game plays out.
90% of the time, my experience goes one of few ways or a combo of 2 or more.
1: Teammates spam surrender button as soon as we lose one vic point which causes the surrender splash to get frozen on screen for the rest of the game.
2: Teammates spam "u guys r noobs" the whole game, meanwhile, said teammate(s) are getting wrecked themselves.
3: Half the team quits as soon as we lose one point or have any sort of setback (especially when start of game goes wrong)
I swear I spend 90% of my time just looking for a game where people just actually play rather than shitting on each other the entire time. I thought as I got better and increased ranks that I would eventually get matched with serious players who have experience but I actually enjoy playing with lower ranked players now because they seem to not have these grand expectations and just end up actually playing the game.
Maybe it's just me but it seems like this game is pointless when you can hardly get in a game where people just actually play and try to win.
Title says it all.
Please just make the faction more interesting to play with and play against.
I do wonder if one aspect is actually the BAR upgrade. They have to be strong due to the high investment but at the same time they scale too well when riflemen are spammed, but scale horrendously when not rifles aren't spammed.
I just miss the flexibility and variability of coh2 riflemen and the weapon racks and commanders that increased the variety of weapons /utility
As title really, many moons ago I played COH1 quite a lot. I remember a website - the name of which I cannot recall - which hosted videos of competitive 1v1 matchups. The matches were streamed, had one or two commentators providing analysis of the tactics and how the match was panning out.
I seem to remember they had occasional guests etc, it was quite a pro feeling website and general setup. I’m sure it was called “something of Heroes” or “Company of something” - one word different from the game title…
Does anyone recall this in the slightest? I’d be interested if the videos or website were still around…
In coh 2 there was a mod called unthinkable war is there a rebrand for same mod in coh 3 ?? Or any other cold war mod . I really wished there was more mods for this game.
I'm struggling to understand how to transition into the late game as DAK in bigger team games (3v3/4v4).
I've read that most DAK tanks are fairly useless in the late game (P3 + P4 call in) and that it's better to just save up for the Tiger call in, but I've played games where I literally spend no fuel on vehicles, and yet my UK opponent is able to field 2 Churchills before I have the 220 fuel for one Tiger.
Obviously since this was a 4v4, maybe my teammates were getting pushed off of their fuel points (it's hard to keep track in the chaos).
I'm just not sure how to fill in the gaps between DAK early game units/light vehicles and the late game units, espeically since the last tier building has a bunch of junk units.
Are you supposed to field inferior tanks like the P3, and then upgrade them with the survival packages that just cost manpower while you save up fuel?
I also find it very confusing with the amount of side-teching in general compared to CoH2, and I'm never sure when it's correct to tech up.
can you give me recommendations to play in 2v2 with the usf, like a build order, choose between captain or lieutenant, the best commanders and tips? if it can be also for 4v4 but I am more interested in 2v2.
I recently watched an AB squad with zooks, take not one, but two, BUT THREE VOLLEYS and fire them back to back directly into the cover they were using.
Its actually BETTER to have bazooka/shrek infantry NOT in cover, as it prevents just wasting shots.
Please fix
I'm not a great COH3 player at all. I'm trying to get better with the US faction and haven't figured out a build that works for me. I played COH2 since it came out in 2013. I had a lot of wins and losses but with COH3 I am really struggling especially with the US forces. Having matches with such high levels really discourages me from trying another match with this kind of matchmaking. I want this game to succeed but if others are having this kind of experience I'm worried about the games future.
TWEN-TEEE-SEVEN Kradschützes and proceeded to whop out a Tiger late game and get it to vet 3
Kudos bro, funniest shit I’ve seen in a while lol. Don’t even understand how your team managed to win this game lol
It's clearly insult and disrespect veterans of WW2. So stupid devs I've never see in my life.
I am ONLY asking about the single player campaign. I will NEVER play multiplayer.
Are there 'companies' in this game? I am familiar with CoH 2.
I see there's a Ranger, Paratrooper and SSF Commando squad. Can you access all of them all the time?
I also see there's a Sniper unit and a Pathfinder unit. Since there wasn't a Sniper unit (for the Americans) in CoH 2 the Pathfinder unit, as I understood it, was supposed to perform that role until they were bugged out of the single player campaign.
How do they work in this game?
Also, what is the difference between a Ranger squad and a Bazooka squad?
I guess I'm trying to understand what factors are involved in determining which units you have access to during the campaign.
Any other clarifications/distinctions related to units between CoH 2 and CoH 3 would be appreciated!
Hi.
Does anyone know a correct and 100% guaranteed way to get this trophy? I've tried 5 campaigns and it never gets me the mission. I've captured barletta with airborne, ssf, UK detachment.. but nothing. Buckram loyalty at almost 4 bars, no bombing salerno, building a dakota class ship... tired it all. No dice. Last single player trophy needed for platinum and it's majorly doing my head in.
Thanks all.
