Visiting Cocoa Beach without wife. Interested in finding gay friendly places in and around Cocoa Beach
Hi - I have a house in Cocoa Beach (4+2 bungalow) that I am looking to renovate. I currently live out of state. Just trying to get an idea if the following is normal, or just my experience. I spoke to a couple of contractors, and asked one to quote on the work. Part of the quote was a non-refundable “plan” for a few grand. The process took a month to get the plan and the quote. The quote was 2-3x what I was expecting (I’ve done a number of Reno’s elsewhere). So I cut my losses but at least still had a plan. Now after engaging other contractors they are saying they need to do their own plan with a quote to follow. Is this normal practise around here? Any recommendations for a no-nonsense contractor? Thanks all!
I’m seeing more and more people locally put large trash out on the street like couches, dressers, etc. I know there were complaints that there wasn’t a large garbage pickup after Milton. Is there one coming or are people just assuming it’ll magically disappear?
Need a recommendation for someone to install crown molding. Thanks.
Will be visiting soon. Are there a y good meat markets around? Maybe dry aged steaks?
Hey everyone! This is my first Halloween with a child (10 months) and im wondering if kids in the area still Trick or Treat in halloween? If so any good neighborhoods with decorations? My baby obviously doesnt eat candy so some lights would be cool lol.

I'm on vacation with family and want to check out lgbt spaces if possible. Bars and clubs preferred
I am either flying in or taking the train in from Savannah and was looking for an easy way to get from Orlando to either Cocoa Beach or Melbourne without spending a freaking fortune. Don’t really want to rent a car and don’t like the idea of rideshare for that kind of a trip, any other options? Bus is OK With me. Gonna be spending about two weeks in the Cocoa Beach area. Any help appreciated.
Visiting Coco Beach next week , never been before . Any suggestions for a nice anniversary dinner there ? Thanks in Advance
I'm in st Pete and all the beaches are closed cuz of sewage and bacteria. I'm exhausted from hurricane cleanup and want to do a weekend trip. Is cocoa beach open? I want to try surfing

In town for a few days, looking for somewhere to get some runs in. Any basketball players/hoopers in here that can point me in the right direction?
I was reading this post about Cocoa Beach and I feel like this girl has missed a few things! What about the bioluminescent kayak tour? And I always love Florida’s Seafood Bar & Grill too.
I'm flying into Orlando on Sunday and staying in Cocoa beach for a week. How are things going in the area with the current hurricane? What's the weather typically like post-hurricane? TIA
Hey guys, I'm thinking about moving g out here for work. How bad does this area get hit by storms?
The place we used to rent on the beach has been sold. Anyone have any good suggestions for a 1 month or longer rental. 2 bedroom with a kitchen, etc…
Visiting cocoa beach/ meritt island for 2 more weeks. Ive check out a few spots but a lot of the beachs on this strip look the same. I’m looking for ideas geared towards spaces attraction’s, national parks/ outdoors stuff. I’d like some recommendations and suggestions. Things already planned: Kennedy Space Center Bioluminescence kayaking Trip to everglads and airboat ride Possibly jet up left side over skybridge into clear water beach and st. Petes. Maybe skip tampa Heard st aguestines is worth checking out north. Best area to surf? Cocoa beach near the hiltons was alright. Looking at a tiki boat ride/ dolphin sight seeing. Maybe rent an ebike and cruise the beach. Thanks in advance
I just moved to the area and still don’t know all the rules so sorry if this is a stupid question… are there any rules against riding electric scooters or bikes on the beach? There’s lots of rental places so I think it’d be fun to ride an electric bike on the sand. Is that allowed? Thank you :) Also unrelated but is there a beach nearby you can drive onto? Thanks again
Are there any free anchorages around for a couple weeks? I’ve found marinas, mostly month to month, but I’m just looking for a spot to anchor and/or moor for a couple weeks before moving northward. I’ve seen a lot of anchored boats around Indian river and was wondering what the legality was in regards to anchoring.
Last night in Cocoa/Merritt Island and I really want to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather by the water with a nice drink and something delicious to eat. We’ve done The Pier and Coconuts. So, where do the people in the know go to enjoy a nice night (preferably with drinks not rum based)?
Thank you for having such a lovely town.
