found this beauty on sketchfab (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/syn-gates-guitar-guitar-hero-style-89a8c498084b40eaa43609682250af47), sadly its only a CG model. i know basic fusion and onshape and i would love to make this real with 3d printing, but i wouldn't even know where to start with the whammy and strum and such. is there a basic fretboard and strumbar and whammy bar mechanism i could model the rest of the guitar around? is anybody willing to help? id kill to play this thing irl

Hi there, just curious. I keep seeing hate being thrown at the Wii rock and wireless controller when it comes to playing clone hero. I personally use it and find it easier to use than the guitar hear controllers as the buttons are easier to move from one to the other. Anyway I’m curious to hear what yall think abt these controllers and why I keep seeing people tell new players to stay away from them.

I'm trying to play GH3 and having a weird issue. I'm using rb4 instrument mapper and GH3 recognizes my guitar fine. I have no problem navigating the menus and it works perfectly for Clone Hero.

Unfortunately, when I actually get into a song the keys don't match up right. Like green is orange. I tried enabling lefty mode, but that just flipped his the chart looks.

Has anyone got this working with the Riffmaster Xbox controller?

I recently came upon this ebay listing one day as I was looking for this particular faceplate for a long time (had been one of my favorites!!!)) It's very rare since it is a walmart exclusive, and am very excited that I have bought it, and is part of my guitar hero collection. 😁😁

I posted this on the Discord channel as well but figured I would come over here as well to see if anyone might be able to help with this. As the title of this thread states, custom song videos are only working for some songs for me and not others. For example, the video for Metallica's "...And Justice For All" works perfectly, but I just get the black background for The Smashing Pumpkins' "1979." I attached a screenshot of the latter's song folder for reference. I've tried rescanning custom content and the songs folders and restarting the game, but neither of those have worked. Anyone have any ideas? Appreciate the help in advance!

TL;DR Is Two Player with XBox Guitars on a Mac possible?

Hey everyone!

My fiance and I have been playing Guitar Hero World Tour since the pandemic. We recently discovered Clone Hero and immediately got excited at the prospect of custom songs!

I have two Guitar Hero World Tour guitars for XBox 360 and I currently have a Mayflash NS2 connected to a generic XBox wireless adapter. All this hooked up to my MacBook.

The computer is able to recognize both Guitars but it recognizes them as the same guitar and not as individual guitars. Do I need another set of Mayflash NS2 to Xbox wireless dongles??

Has anyone been able to play two player/co-op on clone hero?

Any thoughts or input related to this topic would be awesome! Thanks!

Ideally I want to be able to paste and have the pasted notes just put down next to the existing notes, instead of replacing the entire section with only what I pasted. Is this possible?

I just installed Clone Hero and I'm playing quickplay with no modifiers. There is no rock meter and I can't fail. Could someone tell me how to fix this so I can fail songs?

I have no sense of time, but i can tell you its been AT LEAST a week and a half since I got this blister. It's right on the tip of my finger, where my finger makes contact with the fret. Yesterday I told my mother about it and she said it's probably a callus now since it doesn't hurt and feels hard. So I took that info and tried playing a rhythm game to see if it's okay but it became slightly squishy instead of hard feeling.

I'm dying to play clone hero, how do I stop from irritating the blister while playing?

the QR code is so small on the box my phone blurs trying to focus on it. i looked up a random guide from google and it said to plug in the receiver, push the button so the light flashes, then hold the sync button and home button on the controller so they sync up.

well my guitar just flashes constantly and wont sync up with the receiver. i thought maybe i should get the drivers updated first so i did that, tried again and same thing

i have tried different USB ports, holding the receiver close to the guitar, far away and it just wont sync up.

any help would be appreciated

EDIT: while i didnt get it to work, i did manage to get the green to spin around the home button, however it still would not connect. im wondering if my guitar is just so old that it CANT connect to anything anymore of if its a faulty product i bought

EDIT2: i updated a bunch of PC stuff and now it is syncing properly, tested a song and while i forgot my yellow button likes to drop and my strum bar is squeaky/double strums sometimes, its working. got 4 stars on my first time playing on a plastic guitar in nearly a decade.

EDIT3: ok now how do i turn off the guitar without taking the batteries out? lol

I bought my GHWT Wii guitar at a thrift store and it has been on the slow overstrum decent since I got it. I'm having trouble finding consistent info on repairing. Ive seen that the strum bar or switches may need replaced, and this vid as well from CH site. Also, as far as replacing the switches I'm having trouble finding a guide on exactly how to do that. Anyone with experience maintaining a GHWT guitar long term? I need to shred yall

There used to be a fix using ds4windows and dsmini or something similar that made the whammy fully usable on the PS2 red octane. The video I used to set it up has been deleted. If anybody has any help it would be appreciated, thanks

Several years ago my husband gave away his Xbox 360 and Guitar Hero gear. He has regretted that for a couple years now and I want to gift him GH.

On FB Marketplace I found someone selling an Xbox 360 and a ton of games, including GH and a working guitar for $200. I was thinking this is a good deal but pickup is a 2 hour drive away and I'm 35 weeks pregnant. Still, I could make it happen.

Then in my research I learned about Clone Hero. Husband has a good gaming PC and this feels like a great option. I'm thinking with an HDMI cable he could hook the PC up for the TV and play there?? Anyway, I am mostly here to ask what guitar I should buy if I go the Clone Hero route rather than buying the 360 bundle. I've read through plenty of threads here about guitars but honestly the info feels to complex for me, a nongamer.

So with the info that husband played and loved (and won a big GH tournament in middle school - woo!!) Guitar Hero on the Xbox 360, has a gaming PC laptop making it possible to play Clone Hero, what would you reccommend I buy for him to gift him the experience of playing again? Thanks gamers.

Hi, I have some xbox controllers, I have no guitars. I wanted to set it up like how guitar hero 3 just mapped controller inputs, with the use of the triggers and shoulder buttons. But clone hero doesnt allow the assignment of triggers with xinput right now.

Is there a way to use dinput instead? Im using a fightstick so its not like its an analog signal

I made an electronic drum kit / gamepad in the shape of a drum to play clone hero for less than 400 MXN / 20 USD, because I couldn't afford a guitar hero, rock band drum set or an e-drums kit, what do you think?

Missing stratocaster fender and drum set for band hero. Drum set needs some work to prevent misinputs and fender is so bad that I didn't bother to further repair it and it lays in peaces in a box.

3 of those working on Pi Pico, GH5 PS guitar has front panel wrapped in carbon foil and Xbox one waits to be wrapped.

Repairing and tuning those is so addicting.

I bought a Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock Wii guitar that was missing the cover to hold the WiiMote in securly. I couldn't find one that was available to print, so I made my own.

This should friction fit snugly in the holes along each side. You may need to file down the edges of the top tabs, and the main side tabs to get a tight snug fit.

Hi, I've spent a few days looking into the best setup options and have hit a bit of a brick wall.

The aim of this is to use the white frets as Green/Red/Yellow for my kids. 👍

Setup: Samsung s7 tablet.

Latest Clone Hero.

GHL ps4 and dongle.

USB C to USB A.

Everything loads as it should and the guitar connects fine.

When I try to remap the guitar

E.g. Making Yellow = White 3 It seems white 3 isn't recognised at all...

Are there any work arounds for this? Thanks

(I PLAY ON KEYBOARD) I have been playing for about 2 weeks, I come from Fortnite Festival looking for something harder and wanted to try out clone hero. I've been loving it, playing a lot of my favorite bands songs and some Dragonforce stuff to test myself, but it feels like the game just likes to not register some of my inputs in a sense. Sometimes when I press a key especially on stairs that I KNOW I can do it just doesn't register and gives me a miss, is this a timing/input thing I need to get used to or is this changeable to be accurate (the way Fortnite Fest inputs feel, which is "accurate" to me)?
