I dont have the adapter to play with my x360 guitar, whats the actual name for the adapter, im not in the US so searching “ guitar hero adapter is not a option” i would need to search for the actual name in a shop at a market (yeah hahah)

I, as a newish drummer, would like to create a custom song modifier for practicing kicks on drums/pro drums.

I've played for about a year using "No kicks", but decided it's finally time to "teach my feet". So, as to have direct comparisons to my existing scores, I'd like a practice mode that's halfway between "No kicks" and normal play -- having the kick notes in the chart but not counting toward/against score/multiplier.

Is this possible to do (or feature request, somewhere) with Clone Hero?

Sorry if this is a common problem, but I've been looking online and no solutions I've found so far have worked. I have had the Alphav.23.2.2 installed on my MacBook for like two years now and it worked great, downloaded a thousand songs and they mostly all play fine. I took a break from the game for a little under a year, come back, and I can't get any new songs downloaded to work. I thought my software was out of date, so I downloaded the newest version I could find. But none of my old songs are compatible with it, and none of the new songs I downloaded work either. They're in the songs folder, and I scanned the songs in the settings menu, but they're still not working. Is there anything I can do about this or do am I just relegated to all the songs I downloaded on an older version?

I just bought some rock band guitars and drums with cymbals how do I connect them to clone hero if I even can. I'm pretty new to the clone hero thing so I would appreciate it if answers are detailed, thank you!

As title says, when I hit the yellow drum, it acts as if I hit all 4 drums.

I'm playing on an Alesis Nitro Max and testing it with MIDI-OX everything seems fine (maybe not, I'm an absolute newbie).

I checked and double checked the mappings, only the high tom is mapped to yellow.

I have no experience whatsoever with Clone Hero (or Guitar Hero) so is there anything I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I bought my guitar a couple months ago and for the past week I haven’t been able to connect it to my pc anymore. I know it works because it will flawlessly connect to my Xbox, but when I try to plug the dongle into my PC I just get the green flashing light. Has anyone had a similar problem and was able to figure it out?

So I’ve been missing the old guitar hero games of my youth. Thinking about jumping into clone hero. Can some explain how it works? Do you have to download the songs individually? Or are they automatically updated? Also my local Best Buy has a pdp riffmaster in store would that be a good option?

I'm not sure if it's my timing (very likely in some cases) or my gear but I am struggling to hold onto combos with the drums.

I have recorded the midi coming from my kit and there are double notes on pretty much every hit - is that something you generally see or do you think that could be killing it? Its always a very very short hit and then the main hit. Might possible be 1/64 or 1/128 note on the front (can't remember off hand).

Do any settings affect rejection of doubles in clone hero?

And before you wisely suggest I use my module to try to get rid of the doubles, I do of course have a TD20X with ye olde LCD death, which complicates things. Thinking of switching to an edrumin and selling the TD20X, as is (don't really feel like doing the screen replacement myself).

Noticed it doesn’t have a traditional MIDI port. Will I still be able to connect to my PC and use these for CH? For reference, the drums are Roland TD-07KV

I’ve been playing with the physical guitar side of the game since before 1.0 and when 1.0 released I never tried out drums and today I really wanted to try it with keyboard controls but it just didn’t feel right at all so I want to get a real set to play with. Is there any drum set for around $100 or less that have the four main drums, the kick, and all three cymbals that work for clone hero?

I bought a Kramer wireless receiver for PS2, 95449, and I have a Kramer wireless guitar, 95119, but I can't get them to sync. Are these incompatible? Google search only shows me guitars for 95119 and receivers for 95449.

I'm a noob trying out Clone Hero for the first time and I've downloaded the Guitar Hero setlists from the Google Sheets, but am only seeing one file for each song. It looks like a single video.webm file? I've tried putting these into the Clone Hero song folder, but none of them were added when scanning new songs.

From other Youtube videos and from downloading via Chorus, it looks like songs should have 4-5 files for each with notes.chart files, song.opus, etc. in the folder.

I must be missing something, but am not sure how to get those other files for the songs or if I need to do something with the video.webm files in order to play them in Clone Hero.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time!

I'm (supposedly) getting GH3 for Christmas and I want to start getting prepared to the game's stricter hit window. (For reference, I use YARG to play gh because it allows me to make my hit window larger bc im shit at the game and i need to do that.)

I am trying to play clone hero on my phone(S24). I connect the riffmaster with the Samsung adapter. Clone hero doesn't register the red button and I had to register the other buttons to their color. I've switch the riffmaster between the ps5 and ps4 mode and that doesn't seem to change anything.

I've tried using the octopus gameplay app but that didn't help. What can I do to play on android and with the riffmaster.
