This is for all skaters - from the sidewalk surfers to the modern day. If its got 4 wheels* , 2 trucks and a deck, its a skateboard. *see Lonnie Toft, master of the 8 wheeled skateboard. Much respect.

A few classics

White Natas was my first board. My good buddy rode a Jessee and always jump at an opportunity to own a OG Hawk.

Vintage Deck - woman, cauldron of fire, maybe a snake?

I can't recall the name of my first skateboard deck. This would be the 80's. I just remember what I thought was fire, a woman, a snake. It was blue. And I thought it was a Santa Cruz, but I could be wrong!

My brain and the internet are letting me down. I thought one of you might remember.

Need Help ID'ing a Vision Gator For Sale (Link in Post)

Hey all,

Have recently fallen on hard times and have to sell a really sick board to make ends meet.

https://imgur.com/a/DNl9QIK

Wish I didn't have to, I love the board and think the stickers are original era-appropriate, but I'm not sure. Want to make sure I list it for the right price.

Was way into skating/skate history ages ago, but I converted it to a really nice working longboard a couple years back via trucks/wheels/bearings when my back started giving me problems.

Came into the board about 20 years ago, but the something about the stickers tells me it might be from the golden age. Not sure though. Dude at my local skateshop told me to post it here, so I figured I'd see if anyone could help me out!

Thanks in advance for your kindness, been lurking here for a few weeks and decided you guys would be kind to an outsider looking to offload what is, at least, a cool as hell deck.

Any ID help, advice on selling, or cool anecdotes from the old days are welcome!

My daily driver

Had this for years Ik the wheels and bearings aren’t original but idk about the trunks. It had the Monty tiki looking background with white behind it at some point. The blue is left over spray paint from my friend when we were younger. I ride it like this everyday.

Any distinction between 80s grip and modern grip?

Hi all. I'm about to grip an 80s reissue and am looking to keep the setup as period-correct as possible. Before I stick the standard Mob grip sheet that I have on hand, I wanted to check in here to see if I should be sourcing something else that is closer to what would have been on an original 80s freestyle board. Any distinction between old school and modern in that area? Thanks in advance.

Trying to figure out a late 80's early 90's Vision Skateboard Deck

No pictures, it was a board that I personally owned I think between 1989-1990. It was a Vision deck, with a wood finish, and the graphics on the bottom were just painted versions of dozens of different Vision stickers. I don't believe it was a pro model, just a house model. It was a classic Vision shaped deck style.

Trying to see if anyone else remembers this board, or can help me figure out what model it was.
