Hello all - trying to buy my first classic car and have narrowed down to 69 Firebird convertible.
Found one car by the local dealer - it looks solid but the VIN # on the engine is unknown and car has no prior paperwork!
Do you think I should even consider it or its normal to have cars with no paperwork and matching VINs. Would really appreciate your inputs and general suggestions - Thanks in advance!

I've had my 69 firebird for about a year now, and still find it kind of awkward not having a passenger side mirror. Sure, I use my rear view mirror but there's still a big blind spot and cant help but to look back over my shoulder to see if there's any cars in the lane next to me. I dont want to install a mirror on that side cause I'd like to keep it classic, but what are some tips in making it a bit easier to see/getting used to no mirror on that side?
Me and dad hanging out in front of my grandparents house circa 1977. 69 911. Most of my memories of this car are waiting on parts and staying in a hotel hundreds of miles from home while driving back and forth to visit family or go on vacation 😂. My dad is the reason I have such a love of cars today.
The first car my dad purchased brand new. He traded in his 1968 Camaro so the family would have a more “family” car. He said it was a terrible decision I thought about it often when I made sacrifices for my own family. I have always thought Vegas looked pretty cool but apparently really terrible cars.
I saw a 1974 GMC Sierra 2500, however the emblem on the front grill is Chevy, can someone explain what was going on during that time? Thanks
Apologies if this is inappropriate for the sub. Anyone know where I can find a brake proportioning valve for my 73 Travelall? Thanks friends!
