WE Banter

Amazing action. Super Slicey. Great design by Ben Petersen. I wish I had all of his designs.

My new Brazen has taken the mantle from the elementum. I’m a new civivi user but I have a feeling it will be permanent because they are amazing.

Sorry for the bad picture. Still working sadly.

Free knife giveaway! Enter our tombola in December to win a Civivi Photonix in 14C28N

All you need to do to enter is take a brand new photo or short video of your favourite knife from Civivi, Sencut, or We, and post it here to the r/Civivi subreddit. Make sure you set the flair of your post as "Tombola Entry".

If you don't set your flair to "Tombola Entry" when you post, or if you set it to something else then change it, then I won't be able to see your post, or check your eligibility, and I won't be able to enter you into the giveaway. Only one entry per person. Anyone setting that flair on an ineligible post could be subject to a temporary or permanent ban from this subreddit, and all future giveaways.

Only accounts made before the 1st of April 2024 will be eligible, and afaik Civivi are only able to ship the knife to Europe, Australia, and North America.

Need to be a fresh, new photo or video. No reposts or cross-posts.

Competition closes at midnight at the end of this month, GMT. Tombola will be drawn soon after that.

The prize this month is the new Photonix in 14C28N! Some similar handle ergonomics to the Biophase, but without the extreme sci-fi aesthetic, and a with hard-working 3.7" blade.

Available to pre-order now at all good retailers, or directly through Civivi at the (non-affiliate) link below:

Hopefully that's all clear, but if you have any questions or feedback then please leave a comment below.

Good luck!

Cevivi Elementum 2 Button Lock Question about Action

New to knives in general and just picked up an elementum 2 and am enjoying it so far. Quick question though... how are ppl closing the blade with just the button lock and their wrist movement? When I do it, the blade either doesn't make it all the way to close or bounces right back up...

I’m at Walmart right now. They got the brazen and the praxis mini in stock. How is the brazen. This one is burgundy with the D2 tanto. They also have the elemntum but I already have a II.

First time entry and first knife I bought to start my collection!

Hey all!

So I've collected when I was younger middle school into highschool. But moved several times and lost a lot.

Just started my collection over again at 27 and got the praxis mini OD green! Wish it would come out in a button lock but I absolutely love this knife, it's small but not too small, not too big. Blade length is perfect, and it is so fun to flip all day.

This just got delivered on Thanksgiving day (cjrb came today :) ) and I've already earned myself a few battle scars from fidgeting with it lol.

Very pleased with my first knife from Civivi!

Civivi Vision FG: Criticisms

Hello All,

I received my Vision FG today (thank you Civivi for the Amazon sale!).

Great fun, everyone knows what makes it a cool knife. However, I have 3 complaints. If these issues were addressed, I'd say it's truly a great knife but without these CQI suggestions the design feels like it was almost completed but pushed out at 85% instead of ironing-out those last few details.

  1. The scales should not be cut out for a giant relief tab. Either cut the relief to the clip itself and keep it clean, or leave the full scale in place so any clip can be used.

- At this price, charge me $10 more and use the milled ti clip, the generic deep carry looks out of place and because of the dice-sized relief in the scale, a milled clip will not sit correctly.

  1. Bump out the top front side of the scales... Per the purple circle (roughly). It's not far enough to interfere with the stud, but it is enough to create a much better purchase on the finger choil. This will also hide that horrible bottle opener of the lock when closed. No additional real estate used because the blade/lock point are already sticking out of the scales. you could even create a slightly contoured scale for additional finger conformity in the choil.

  1. MOST IMPORTANT

THUMB STUD

A $30 discontinued Sencut has a much better stud. This really gets me because the stud is the only method of opening if you don't want to look like you're waving a wand everytime you open the knife.

You can see here, the Vision has a simple, smooth stud, the Sencut adds 'smooth' jimping and graduated concentric circles. Much, MUCH better thumb feel from the Sencut.

Thanks for reading and please feel free to pick apart my suggestions.

Today's carry.

This knife is heavily slept on great for EDC and self defense. I like this blade shape better than the v2 that just came out.

2nd carry on this nice day

Micarta Banter 2, if the scales look a little different it's because I scrubbed the scales with maroon scotchbrite. Happy with the result, definitely more grip
