Fans of City Hunter Anime!
Ryo Saeba is a "sweeper" in the city of Tokyo. His works as a trouble shooter, cleaning the streets of vermin, and helping out desperate people. Sometimes he's a bodyguard, sometimes he's an assassin, whatever Ryo does he does it well. In fact his only flaw is his hormones - he loves the ladies and sometimes turns into an idiot when he's near them. Thankfully he's got people like his partner Kaori Makimura to keep him in check.

Been searching through the internet a lot but still couldn't find a site where the movie is. At this point I'm okay even without subs. If you know and it's a "pir." site then pm me because I think it's not allowed to say names of the sites here.
tho there are the release years maybe the order is not the same so i prefer to ask^^
Me and my partner are just watching the episode now.
We got to the halfway part with the stitch, saw the shoe was different and damn shouted the house down when we saw the Umibozu x Miki stitch.
That and the comedy and animation are absolutely mental.
City Hunter 91 in its entirety has to be the magnum opus of the series.
For all City Hunter fans! Let me know what you think
is it ever mentioned if she had any romantic experiences before falling for ryo? or is ryo the first ever guy she had a crush on?
Video not at all made by me and totally my friend a wee bit ago. They'd love to recieve any and all critical feedback and notes on what they need to improve! Assumedly, of course...I—as not video maker—wouldn't know.
(Also if self-promo isn't allowed—feel free to demolish this post to smithereens)
Thanks ^-^
I made this for Inktober Day 11 hope you guys like it
The jacket was too tight to roll the sleeves up though…
I would like to know where I can read the City Hunter Manga
hey there ! can anyone tell me who this character is ? or if she just appears in the anime for a few seconds, maybe the episode ? thanks !
So, it's not uncommon to compare Ryo to basically being an anime James Bond, whether as a parody, or a direct foil, depending on whether you're talking about his serious side, or his goofy nature. Pulling that thread, along with my hobby for ttrpgs, I've gotten into learning the old James Bond RPG (with plans to make a City Hunter campaign out of it). This in turn got me into watching the James Bond films, starting with the era I'm most familiar with, Pierce Brosnan....whom I've learned was a shoe-in for the part, mostly for a little something he did in the 80s called "Remington Steele", which, after watching a few trailers....seems about as close as we'd get to an American version of City Hunter, in a fascinating parallel development kind of way!
I don't exactly know what I'm getting at here, but I found the connection to be interesting, and potentially worthy of sparking discussion. Am I on to something here? Can I expect this show to scratch a similar itch that City Hunter does?
We both love 80’s and 90’s anime so we agreed on a City Hunter homage for our Save the Date cards!
