Fans of City Hunter Anime!
Ryo Saeba is a "sweeper" in the city of Tokyo. His works as a trouble shooter, cleaning the streets of vermin, and helping out desperate people. Sometimes he's a bodyguard, sometimes he's an assassin, whatever Ryo does he does it well. In fact his only flaw is his hormones - he loves the ladies and sometimes turns into an idiot when he's near them. Thankfully he's got people like his partner Kaori Makimura to keep him in check.

I tried a bunch of sites and it's not anywhere. is is possible to help me out with this?
Does anyone know the soundtrack that plays in city hunter season 1 episode 44 from minute 13:10 - 13:22? It's a recurring soundtrack throughout the series that I haven't been able to find literally anywhere else other than during the episodes. Genuinely sounds like such a good song, any help finding it would be much appreciated 🙏🙏
So back in April 2024 when I went in Italy for a spring break, I remember turning the Italian TV and flipping the Italian TV channels. I remember watching an anime show City Hunter on Italia 2 (which I believe Italia 2 did aired some Japanese anime reruns such as Lupin III, Dragon Ball and more). I think they aired some anime shows in Italian dub in Italy. But when I turn on the SAP audio track while City Hunter is playing on Italia 2, it actually plays the original Japanese audio and not English audio. So I guess the anime shows played in Japanese in Italy which is kinda like watching anime shows in Japan. After the City Hunter anime ends, the Live Action show plays in English audio while the SAP audio track is still on and the Italian audio when SAP audio track is turned off (The same thing with the anime shows). I guess Italia 2 plays in 3 languages in Italy. (Mostly Italian, English for Live-Action Shows & Japanese for Anime shows). Does anyone remember watching anime shows on Italia 2 in Italy and switching the SAP audio track to Japanese audio track like when City Hunter do?
It has been announced that "Cat's Eye" will be adapted into a new anime in 2025. It will be exclusively distributed on the "Star" section of Disney's official video streaming service, Disney+, and the teaser visual has also been released.
It was also announced that Ado will be singing the original theme.
A special teaser movie featuring "CAT'S EYE" (Anri) sung by Ado has also been released.
A new series of the legendary animation "Cat's Eye" will begin on Disney Plus. I have covered the original theme song "CAT'S EYE" with arrangement by Yuki Hayashi. When singing the song, I respect Anri and mixed the 80's singing style with my own color. What did you all think? I am very honored that this beloved and legendary work has returned to the present day with even more brilliance, and that I have been involved in it as a singer. I hope that the song is new yet nostalgic. Let's enjoy the new series of Cat's Eye together.
For the first time in 40 years, "Cat's Eye" will be remade into an anime series. As this was my debut series, I'm sure there were many parts that were clumsy. However, I've recently received offers from overseas to use the work, and I've been reminded that there are still people somewhere in the world who care about this work. I was surprised when I heard that it would be made into a new anime, but I'm very grateful for this, as it's all thanks to the fans who have supported me for so many years. To be honest, I'm a bit worried about how the younger generation will receive this work, but I hope they enjoy watching it.
So recently I encounter with people who called that city hunter have SA sense of humor and I am here to clear this this out how city hunter works this type of sense of humor like other successful shows like Dragon Ball, Ramma, Johnny Bravo .
This type of sense of humor works because Ryo always gets consequence for his actions, ladies beat him up for him being a jerk. this is the point of this sense of humor, like in Dragon ball when master Roshi and Johnny Bravo tried to be pervert around pretty ladies then ladies kick and beat them up . In city Hunter this sense of humor is very extreme and main in this franchise's comedy. And slapstick comedy handles here perfectly
the perfect manner to represent this sense of humor as media example is given below
I would say City Hunter is a prefect example for adults ( I would never recommend this to kids), mysteries, adult cast, realistic etc. . which I did enjoy . unlike Hazbin hotel and Helluva boss (which are big spotlight as adult cartoons) city hunter handle it's sense of humor maturely.
the real reason why hazbin and helluva failed to deriver this sense of humor because of double standards, Verosika or other pervert cast never got consequence for their actions etc.
Any writers can made this sense of humor funny if they handle it properly and Johnny bravo is the best example it
I'm looking for a scene where ryo looks seductively while being mostly nakes + wearing a bra. I'd be grateful if anyone remembers which episode this scene is from.
And the Artbook/Fanbook from Book-off^^
So I was searching for some documents and had to switch on my old phones and went to the gallery folder and nostalgia filled me over. I recorded this in a Nokia phone (don't remember the model unfortunately) back in 2013-14ish.
City Hunter used to air on this channel called Animax which actually introduced me into anime. Each weekday they used to air it at some point at night and I used to stay up to watch it. When season 2 ended I was so sad that I couldn't hear the ending songs again because I loved the 2nd ed of s2 "Still Love Her". When season 3 was nearing its end I was panicking because it would have been the last time I hear this song (remember I had no idea what internet was back then). So I sneaked out and took my mom's phone from under her pillow and recorded this at the middle of night with trembling legs because if mom knew I took her phone without her permission at night she would have hit me with Kaori's hammer.
I still find it crazy that now I can hear it anytime I want by searching on the internet. I recorded the s4 ending as well but that file has become corrupted. Well I thought I share this small memory with all of you...
