Has anyone ever received their security deposit back? I’ve reached out many times over email over course of months and the property manager ignored me. The last communication I received from him was that “it was processed” - I never received anything in the mail. It’s $300, and I’ve heard that this type of situation is meant for small claims court but I saw some folks here say that while I may win the case, there’s no enforcement for them to pay. Any advice?
On top of that, they sent me an overdue electricity bill for the apartment for the timeframe AFTER I already vacated (I have a signed paper document from the property manager stating the date I vacated). What should I do?
These are the best chips ever. Don’t ask find out for yourself.
I have a friend visiting for the John Waters show and aside from seeing the great King of Filth, I’m trying to make plans to get dressed up and go where there’s some more 80-90s alternative music. Ever since The Hub closed in OTR I’ve been at a loss for fun alternative bars in the area that have dancing around. I’m familiar with all of the Northside area and have that on my radar but I was curious on what the scene in Covington looks like. Any suggestions?
Praise da lawd. At least that's some traffic relief.
Hi! I recently passed my real estate exam and now I’m looking for a brokerage. I have spoken with a few in the past couple of months, but I was wondering if anyone knows a brokerage that doesn’t charge fees for agents to use marketing, technology, etc? One brokerage I spoke with doesn’t charge fees for this, and I know it’s rare for brokerages not to, but I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations.
I’m also open to other recommendations for brokerages regardless if they charge fees. Thank you!

Does anyone know of there is a pumpkin patch still open around Cincinnati?
Used to take Riverside to Delta but given the fire, I am worried that portion of Riverside will be closed for a while. Anyone have any route suggestions?
I am asking on behalf of my best friend as she lives in Cincinnati and doesn’t have Reddit. She is looking for a therapist as she has OCPD, which is commonly confused with OCD, but it’s its own disorder dealing with perfectionism, control, and rigidity, to where it becomes difficult and sometimes impossible for the affected person to be able to live a normal life.
She is struggling to find a therapist in the area as OCPD is not a commonly known disorder and very few therapists specialize in it or even have heard about it. I want her to get productive help, and so if you know of a therapist that either has heard of it, or has experience helping people with obsessive personality types where perfectionism takes over their lives, OR at the very least is a therapist who is open minded and willing to learn about OCPD, please let me know. Thank you so much in advance!!
What is your favorite place to watch Cinci FCC on TV,? Looking for a festive place to watch the game Saturday.
I have an old pair of Jordans I’d like to get restored or just repaired. Does anyone know of a place in the city that does that?
We will be visiting family in Cincinnati for Thanksgiving, but won't be having our family celebration until Friday. Since we'll be free Thursday evening, I'd love to use that time to teach my 5yo about volunteering. Anyone know of any opportunities open to children? Everything I've found online requires volunteers to be older. Thanks!
I will be graduating from a large Southern school and have accepted a job in Cincinnati. I am from the midwest (not ohio), so I understand and know the way of life in the midwest and have been to Cincy a few times growing up. I'm thinking of going to the oakley area. Is this a hard city to make new friends especially as an outsider? I am worried I wont click with the Miami OH, or Ohio State alums vibe. I'm a single female and have always had an easy time making friends and enjoy being around others. I am just worried Cincinnati may not be as accepting to new people/people they did not go to HS or college with as some other cities. Do you think this may be true?
Edit: thanks for the guidance! Was attempting to learn so I appreciate the help.
Anyone know where I can find a copy of the ballot I’ll have in Hamilton county? I want to be educated on all the issues before going in. Tried some googling but idk if im just failing at that or not.
I’m looking to move my family to Cincinnati, and my daughter will be in 9th grade. She has been in marching band for two years and wants to continue a similar program. I’ve been researching the city’s high schools but I’m struggling to find which schools have band/music programs. Any guidance is appreciated! 🎼
Thanks!
I’m trying to find a therapist on my own for the first time and I am kinda struggling. Can anyone recommend me a good therapist preferably more in northern Kentucky? Also strongly non religious ones. I’ve had bad experiences.
Any tips or advices are also greatly appreciated!
Please help me win this argument with a non-Cincinattian. Do you mix Skyline before eating please answer Yes or No. Thanks!
