This is my favorite local Imperial IPA. Anyone else?
I'm really craving a juicy slab of ribs and some nice Mac n cheese and there's so many options idk where to go. Anyone have suggestions or recommendations?
Any liquor store/supermarket to buy Magners Pear Cider that you know of?
My parents want to convert this dresser into a sink. They need someone who can make the modifications, including removing the drawer and modifying the backer.
Any tips or tricks for first timers bringing toddlers to the faire?
I moved over the summer and updated my voter registration (same county but different municipality). I also updated my address with the BMV online, but I never received the postcard they were supposed to send me. Will the fact that my DL shows the wrong address be a problem? Does anyone have experience with this or know the relevant legislation?
Or what's a place where some good small ones happen? I'm interested in seeing some reggae shows too.
71 north and southbound in Ohio between 275 and downtown has, in my years of experience, had some regular yet predictable periods of regular traffic congestion (aka rush hours), that I think we all have come to terms with. This fall seems different, but I can’t figure out why. I have found several times that it’s backed up sometimes at 830 or 9pm for no clear reason like an accident. And today, a sunny Saturday, when north bound 71 is slowed down for seemingly no reason. What has changed? What am I missing? Why is this traffic??
Partner and I are in the process of buying our first home and are scheduling a home inspection. We've looked at several websites with great reviews but really want to find a thorough, unbiased inspector - has anyone worked with Nathan Salmon of Cincy Home Inspections? If so, how was it? Also open to any other inspector recommendations! Not too concerned about cost as I assume you get what you pay for, and we want a very thorough inspection. https://www.cincyinspection.com
I’d like to buy a bunch of different types of pumpkins for decor (orange, some white, green, different sizes) and don’t need the whole fall festival experience. I’m basically looking for great pumpkins at a great price, east of I-75. I’d love to hear your recommendations!
Headed from eastside Cincinnati to Hocking Hills soon and want to get opinions on best way to get there. Google Maps tells me Rte. 32/93 is the shortest route. And that I-71/35 and I-71/56 are longer, both in distance and time (although on a Saturday morning, Google says they're all three within 15 minutes of one another). I guess my main question is how are the state routes currently, specifically 32 and 35? From what I could find online, 32 is supposed to be a higher-speed, 4-lane "highway" with a median in the middle, with few interchanges after Mt. Orab. Anyone have personal, recent insight to offer? Thanks!
This is a composite image I captured from Devou park on Thursday, 10/3/2024. I was there to capture comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas A3 in the east but was entirely surprised to see the city dressed in fog. I shot my photo of the comet then turned north and shot the pic of the building, all within 20 minutes.
Hope you like it!
I inherited some equipment including a Technics CD player from 1985. It looks like the drive motor is seized . I'd like to have it repaired instead of scraping it and I'd like to give someone local some budiness. Anyone still doing electronics repairs?
Is anyone else having their homes invaded by pillbugs over the last couple days? I've lived here 5 years and have seen like 1 total until a few days ago, now it's like 20 a day.
I figure it's the wet weather we had, and the dry weather now, pushing them inside.
I live downtown right on Central Parkway and the noise from loud cars, motorcycles, and emergency vehicle sirens is driving me nuts. I thought it'd be convenient to be walking distance from work, but every weekend is the same shit with antisocial fucks drag-racing down the street past midnight and terrorizing residents.
Are there any good neighborhoods that are quiet and have good transit access to downtown? I don't own a car and my budget is about $1200/month for a one-bedroom apartment.
I really want to start working out regularly, but my gym is in Newport. I think that’s the closest one. I would rather go somewhere really close by my apartment. I kind of want to explore something besides just a regular gym too. Like classes that are focused in some way because when I just go to a regular gym, I very quickly lose interest because it’s boring. Like is there kickboxing, Pilates, etc near? I’m in East Walnut Hills.
I’m a little behind on posting this.
Has it gotten worse? I never remember it smelling this bad. Reminds me of driving into Trenton.

Meet starts at 9:15am and will run until completion (around 4pm). Watch some of the strongest lifters from the United States battle it out! 800+ pound squats and one man attempting over 1,000 pounds on the bench press! Entry fee is $10 for spectators at the door! Hope to see you there!!
Here in Cincinnati visiting from New Zealand to see the Bengals play! my husband was born here and has always been a die hard bengals fan but never been to a game (neither have I) so it’s a bit of a bucket list for us to go to one.. except since were traveling, we also have our 2.5 year old twins who are coming to the game with us too.
All things considered, they are pretty well behaved for young kids that age, and they can be entertained with their iPad + headphones for hours if need be (have done that successfully on long plane rides to get here!).. I’m hoping they enjoy the atmosphere/experience!!!.. but wondered if anyone had any advice on any playgrounds/parks close by we should aim to take them to for a play/run around before the game, and/or any recommendations on what to do / where to eat before the game that is family friendly? One last little thing is that my husband has recently been diagnosed celiac, so we need to find gluten-free options for him too.
Hope we don’t sound too high maintenance 😂 we’re excited to be back, absolutely love this city!
Into anime, movies, running and just chilling. I’m a full time student and I work at a bakery. HMU
The northern lights might be visible in the Cincinnati area this weekend!
