Hey there I am currently working on my second batch. This batch is roughly 4 gallons and is a berry apple blend of some sorts. I was a bit slow to the bottling process and have had this container of cider sitting in my house for roughly 3 weeks. It was not fermenting because I pulled the fermenter out when I saw the bubbles had stopped. Unfortunately I was unaware that the frozen berries that I had put in the cider weeks before could go bad. When I pulled them out of the hopps bag they didn’t seem moldy or anything they had just lost coloration. However, when I tried the cider today I could tell it was a bit off. Is this entire batch ruined and will I get sick if i consume this cider? Is there anyway to fix this batch? Any and all advice is appreciated.
It’s a shame there isn’t quite a variety to choose from Cider wise in many pubs across the UK asides from Strongbow being heavily dominant. The added bonus I was not expecting this for a glass. Much better to drink from rather than the default wide one. Good to see these are still in circulation.
One out from a Daytrip including a Wetherspoons that actually did Thatchers. Both Gold & Haze but the latter is better for me. Not my top favourite cider but definitely up there in my top 5. Should go and do the tour eventually if the actual farm in the new year!
Ugh! 9 times out of 10 (11?) I’m a HUGE 1911 fan! They’re definitely on the sweeter side so I’ll get one when I build a 6-pack at Trader Joe’s and have loved most of the others.
This bummed me out ! I should have known better but it’s spooky fireside season, but I thought if anyone could do it it was them for my taste.
If I could still handle my whiskey I could maybe see cutting it. As I’ve been typing this I’ve gotten about 1/4 through and it’s kinddddd of redeeming itself. And at the end of the day, it’s a beautiful autumn afternoon so all is well. Just wanted to scream into the internet ether for a second!
Happy fall yall 💘
My total wine finally had in store Schilling Hard Cider Moon Berries 🤩🍷🥰 also picked up a few other items that seemed promising. Cheers 🍻
I found this yummy cider at Whole Foods. It is a Tropical mimosa passionfruit & orange cider. It’s super yummy & it’s slightly sweet yet also mildly sour & dry.
It's like beer and cider had the perfect boozy baby with a hint of black tea. Packs a decent punch as well with the ABV%
