10/10 so good
I still haven't gotten over the fact they took my Chocolate Peanut Butter halloween milk but at least the mint is back for this season.
Maybe a stupid question... but... I really enjoy the Kroger Branded 1% Chocolate Milk. It's very rich, creamy, etc. Every so often I'll be at Wal-Mart and pick up a 1/2 gallon of the Wal-Mart branded chocolate milk... $1.72... good price and when I take it home and start drinking it... I feel that it's just 'less' than the Kroger store brand. Is it a psychological thing... if I did a blind taste test, would I knotice... or is the Kroger stuff just so much better?
Weird that a 60 year old man is asking... but.... the Wal-Mart Chocolate Milk just seems to be a lot less pleasurable. Is it just me?
My goto has always been kroger 1% choc milk but I'm moving in two weeks and the nearest kroger will be over 2 hours away. Anyone got a recommendation that's close? I don't like Fairlife enough to start drinking that
For two Halloweens now I have not been able to find this. It’s truly addictive! Has anybody seen it in their stores this year??
I'm not saying expired chocolate milk tastes good. For reason I find it tastes more like chocolate and sweet if it's a week away from the best before date. I think of it like a flower that only blooms once a year for 1 hour before it withers and dies.
This stuff is good
does anyone here ever just enjoy this chocolate milk or is it just me??

Hi! In Italy and Austria there is THE BEST chocolate milk (from my perspective).
I'm not sure where else is it sold in the world so me and my friends are conducting a survey to find out. If you'd like to help me, the survey takes less than a minute.
Thanks!
I have found my people. I love you all.
Got this from a gas station today first time trying it. Tasted very different. Found this after just a few sips quite disgusted ngl. Has anyone had this happen? What is this?
Good afternoon. I'm curious how the choccy milk scene north of the border is, as I'm going for the first time in a couple weeks. Every time I visit a city, I make it a mission to try the local chocolate milk and was hoping Canada wouldn't be an exception. I'll be in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto
My daughter has nesquick daily (it's the only way I can get her to drink milk) but it's honestly just more and more gross. I tried it the other day and it's foul. I want to get her better milk powder and since chocolate is her favourite I know who to ask. (we're in Wales UK if that helps)
honestly i don’t know if it’s only in the UK so i’m asking here
Here's a clearer, easy-to-follow version of your chocolate milk recipe with optional variations:
Homemade Chocolate Milk Recipe
Ingredients:
2% or 3.25% milk (avoid skim; fat adds flavor and texture)
Whipping cream (optional, for extra richness)
Chocolate (dark or milk) OR a good quality powdered chocolate mix
Peanut butter or peanut butter powder (optional for extra protein and flavor)
Instructions:
Use 2% or 3.25% milk for the base. Fat is key for a rich, creamy texture.
For extra creaminess, add a splash of whipping cream. Use a 1:8 ratio (e.g., 1 tablespoon of cream per cup of milk) for a thicker texture.
Option 1: Melted chocolate (for a rich flavor):
Heat 1/3 of the milk in the microwave with broken pieces of milk or dark chocolate. Heat in 25-second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate is completely melted.
Add the remaining cold milk and whipping cream (if using) after the chocolate has melted.
Option 2: Powdered mix (for convenience):
Use a high-quality chocolate powder like President’s Choice Hot Chocolate Mix (Canadian option) for a smooth mix. Quik and other Nestle products tend to be lower quality.
To mix, use a blender or a bullet-style blender for just 5 seconds. Blending any longer will result in too much foam.
Use peanut butter powder from a bulk store, which is lower in calories and blends well with milk. Add a scoop to the blender for extra flavor.
Alternatively, use regular peanut butter, though it may not fully blend. It still adds a nice texture and flavor.
Tips:
If you like your chocolate milk thicker, increase the amount of whipping cream or chocolate.
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less chocolate or powder to your taste.

On a scale 1-10. What do you think?
This is my go to brand, I always buy two bottles at a time. But in the past couple months it’s been hit or miss. Sometimes it tastes great, others it tastes off like it’s about to go bad even though it’s not expired and hasn’t been out of the fridge for long. I wonder if this is just an issue at my grocery store or if others have noticed?
Hello people of Reddit. I personally have never left a comment on Reddit before but I feel compelled to now. Personally I really love chocolate milk. Always have and always will. Every time I go to a coffee place I ask if they have the good stuff (chocolate milk). I found my top 3 are twin brook,Alpenrose, Garry meadow. I'm all time favorite it Garry's meadow. I'm pretty sure these are all only local to Oregon however Garry meadow's chocolate milk is TO DIE FORR. If you ever come to Oregon stop by a new seasons and get a bottle.
I live in Oregon, and I used to get this incredibly special Belgian chocolate milk from New Seasons….it was the only place I could find it. It’s been so long, but I’m trying to track down the brand so I can locate it again.
It came in a glass bottle, was the smoothest, richest chocolate milk I’ve ever had. I so wish I could remember the name! If anyone has any recommendations or possibly knows the brand, help is appreciated! New Seasons no longer carries it! Such a bummer!
Just found this group but do you use syrup or powder? Do you put the syrup/powder in first or the milk? Thanks!
