A position from a classic chess game I played today. White plays and gains a big advantage.
I know it's a puzzle but I can't imagine anyone actually making you do this after the first move.
Be careful, this puzzle might trick you.
Didn’t find the mate in my game but luckily other sensible moves are still winning.
It’s clear to say I have not. Wow
This puzzle is from recent Titled Tuesday (Dec 10), in the game Daniel Naroditsky played Re7 to avoid losing the rook after Nf7+ but it’s a very passive move (mistake) that completely loses the advantage after Nf7+ Kg8 Ng6, so instead of moving the rook to e7 - Can you find a romantic way of using the pawn tension on 3rd rank to your advantage? There’s multiple winning moves, but one that is quite forcing and stands out, what do you think it is?
