What’s going on tonight jebus
Hey everyone! 🌟
I’ve been thinking about joining a walking group in Christchurch, but I’ve been a bit nervous about going solo. There’s an event coming up this Tuesday, and I’d love to find someone who’s interested in socializing and joining me! If you’re up for some fresh air and good company, DM me for more info! Would be great to have someone to chat with while walking!
I would like to add that the walking group is made up of people aged mostly 18-30. If you're interested, Dm me for more info.
Hey everyone!
I'm looking to connect with fellow content creators in the area who are interested in forming a local support group. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, the goal is to collaborate, share advice, and help each other grow our channels.
If you're keen to meet up, exchange ideas, or even collaborate on projects, drop a comment or DM me. Let's build a community where we can support and inspire each other to succeed on YouTube!
Looking forward to connecting!
Hi I saw there was an event for tomorrow. Sadly it seems all sold out. Does anyone know someone who got tickets and can’t make? Will buy
I guess this is why this sub was created, so here goes. What's everyones recommendation for dating in your 40's or 50's? The apps are pretty hit and miss, mostly miss, so what are the options?
I'm a single guy looking for a best friend first and then see how things develop. I can hold a conversation, have all my teeth and smell reasonably ok as well. I'm looking for someone who has a clue what emotional intelligence is and is open to developing something more than just surface level chat. Bonus points if you know what your love language is.
I've got a wide variety of interests, both indoor and outdoor and looking to travel more in the future. I'm a pretty positive person and try to see the good in people so surely it shouldn't be that hard to find people looking for something similar. Are they out there? Where are you all hanging out?
Hi, I'm a guitarist looking for people to play music with. I'm over 50 and influenced by indie and country style music. Let me know if your keen😃
I am looking for people who are serious about making music and who are looking to jam and collaborate, preferably you would be 25+, reasonably stable in life and do not just want to stick to one genre, I want to break out of the "rules" of music that many stick with.
Initially we would focus on studio work and crank out some songs while looking at going live further down the track.
Mostly I am looking for a creative rhythm guitarist and am also open to exploring ideas with keyboard/synth/vocals
Sample of my current work
Protocat
Hit me up if you're interested ✌️

The Christchurch City Council is responsible for making decisions that affect our daily lives. They decide where our rates go: towards cycleways or roads, green spaces or car parks, public transport or stadiums.
As we speak, the Christchurch City Council is creating the Long Term Plan, which will fundamentally shape the nature of our city over the next ten years.
We are hosting a potluck-style submission party this Friday March 22nd at the WEA on 59 Gloucester Street from 6-8pm, where you can collaborate with other like-minded individuals and have your say on the Long Term Plan. Come along, bring some kai and fill out a submission.
This is organised by the same guy who organised the Thursday Evening Rides last year.
It's now on the last Friday of the month.
We cycle around for an hour (or so) have a yarn while riding and then stop at the pub for some beer and chips afterwards (optional) you can come for part or all of the ride, nice to meet new people in the city.
Electric Bikes are welcome too :) I ride one, no shame here!
The meeting place is outside the bridge of Remembrance where the scooters and bicycle parks are at 6:45pm (time may change with evenings getting darker earlier)
Oh and it's human powered cycles not motorbikes :)
Hope to see you there.
I big problem I have at the moment is that I only get one full weekend off every 6 weeks, other than that I only get days off during the week.
This makes it hard to be social, unless I take a leave day off I have few opportunities to get out.
So I was hoping other people might be in a similar place. I would like to find people who like to get out for some drinks or activities during the week.
Meetup is one of the most recommend sites on the topic of making new friends, and it's true, there are heaps and heaps of different groups in Christchurch that you can join, many for free and meet new people that may be the start of something special. But what other resources are there? List them below, and we'll build up some ongoing sources of social engagement.
Hi everyone! I’m 32 and born and bred in chch. I’m into gaming, anime, technology and repairing cars. I also love to cook! I am looking to meet new people and possibly make new friends
