After I found out that Yu could use plunder to take other people's abilities, didn't he use them on that one guy with the teleportation on the first episode? Other than that my only other complaint was that the OVA was just an extra story and not an aftermath like Kill la Kill's OVA, but I do think its nice that it leaves it up to interpretation, so if you thought that he slowly got his memory back or something then you can
This was such a good anime, tho I do think the ending feels a bit rushed but at the same time I’m also kinda glad it was short cuz I don’t think I have the mental strength to watch Yu slowly going insane from all the abilities for more than 1 ep. And I would have liked an extra ep kinda like an ova that happens after he fulfills his promise and the life that Yu and Tomori lives together, just a bit of lovely dovely that we’ve been missing, and maybe even a kiss and a wedding seen 🥰. But regardless I think this anime is a masterpiece cuz of its amazing character development, especially on Yu going from a delinquent dare I say abusing his ability to how mature he was before he set off to get rid of all abilities, I loved the plot twist going from a slightly abnormal school slice of life to ep 12 and 13. It was amazing.
Edit: this was definitely one of the best anime I’ve seen
This is more like an question than a discussion post so here we are. You guys remember the scene when Yuu tried to take power from a kid whose disease wasnt full developed yet? Why did he have to make the disease grow stronger before taking it, is it because he cant take it or is there another reason (I might not remember the scene correctly since i havent rewatched Charlotte for a while now)
It seems a very common opinion that the ending was rushed, especially with Yuu travelling the globe. I strongly disagree. That isn’t the story the anime was trying to tell, and would have taken a very long, very repetitious, very lonely time to depict more than what we saw.
Furthermore, actually witnessing and experiencing it all properly would be disingenuous, because that part of the story was forgotten as it was happening. We saw it as Yuu himself did, turning into a small montage as his mind began to fail, his memories flicker, and his consciousness fracture. Then, only when he finally comes back to Nao, does he ever even begin to take a step back towards regaining himself.
Just finished the series and I know the ova episode took place after ep4 but I still wanna watch it and don’t know where to
as the title states are there any vendors for blu ray in the usa?
It has some similarities with the movie "Your Name.". I was kinda expecting the last episode to give a similar feeling as what I had in the last parts of Your Name. but it didn't for some reason. In fact I didn't really feel anything. Could've been better
I loved the series as a whole tho
Hey ppl, does anyone know where I could find a translated version of volume 6 or is there someone in this community capable of translating the manga ?? Help the community by sending everything you know ! Have a nice day!!

No honestly The album "Echo" has everything, good composition, lyrics, emotions, instrumentation and overall feel. I've listened to a lot of albums in my life time for now but this one is underrated especially for being just by a 'virtual band'. What are your favourites? Mine are blood colour, vanishing day, live for you,fallin...
I just finished the anime and did some research about the manga and I made up a theory on Yuu's memory
In the end of the manga, Yuu remembered the zhiend band music when he was listening to it. So it proves his memories are somewhere in him.
I think he's going to remember a few things little by little, for example his little sister's dishes with pizza sauce etc.. things that have left marks for him, like the music I mentioned earlier, which will gradually get his memories back or the note book that he remembered when waking up.
As for the rest, it's not that dramatic if he lost his memories for ever, it's not like he forgotten 50 years of relationship with his friends ... he can and will make new memories with them and he's still got the same personality, he talks in the same way etc.
It's as if you can't remember why you're in a room or who's in it but it's always you thinking where am I? The same way you would say it without amnesia.
Or when he said where am I? In a battlefield in a scene where it's shooting
I love this show so god damn much! I love when Yuu discovers what his ability really is, the foreshadowing of the lead vocalist for ZHIEND talking about her giving away her eyes as repentance and Yuu sacrificing his eyes to “repent” for not being able to save his sister!
I thought it would wrap up after episode 11 and episode 12 would be a conclusion but then they use it to brush over the years he spent traveling the world? I hope they do rebuild movies for this series like they did for EVA I would like the see them expand on the ending a lot more
I was really into it and then they just fucked it up completely. Ruined my day honestly. went from a 9/10 to like a 4. It ends with them going to the concert together as far as I'm concerned
Just finished rewatching the anime after 5 years, can't change my mind it still hits the same. Absolute peak 💪
I wanted to rewatch the anime once again but I can’t seem to find it on Crunchyroll, Is it just not on there?
So i tried to post a video but reddit would not let me so i will try to describe the scene ,its in episode 7 around 14.38 where yuu is fighting the gangsters just after the arcade scene , i have listened to every ost there is and I can't find it ,it start with the first hit after the possession, its really catchy can someone help me find it
I want a spoiler on this I just found this anime from YouTube shorts and the clip showed the main characters sister dieing or at least talks about it do they come back to life
I Rewatched it and when he got the healing ability why didn’t he just heal his eye and time jump back and deal with the small situation they had instead of plundering the whole world like yeah it wouldn’t have been as interesting to watch but idk the whole thing just confuses me?
How did shunsuke even find yuu after he found that girl in Beijing with courage ability or whatever and fainted
Like did he just start tracking him using tv broadcasts for like the rest of the year after he broke his phone using collapse
Also why does he fly down at the end and reach his hand out How does he know where he is if he is blind Or does he just reach down and completely miss him
