HELP! - WhatsApp Stock Market Scam

My father was added to a whatsapp group where the scammers manipulated him into putting in xx lakhs into their fraudulent schemes. They made him transfer that money in parts to a few different people. It then showed my dad has made a profit. When my dad asked for the money withdrawal, they asked him to submit xx lakh ( same as the original amount) again and then they will send him all his profit. He did not do it but we are still in loss of xx lakh . The WhatsApp group is still active and posting regularly. The transfer was made through online Banking from a debit account.

What can I do now ?

Last time I came to Chandigarh was in 2008 and since and now after all those years i got a job in Chandigarh, but after staying for a weak here I hate this place -Too much garbage everywhere -I got looted -There's no proper public transport except buses -And crime is way common -things are just expensive -I will apply for work from home on Monday I can't live a moment here
