My primary focuses are personal freedoms (especially medical), focusing on building public education (as the legislature keeps removing and redirecting funds and making it harder to teach), and refocusing the government on handling safety and security and otherwise staying out of our lives. Hi Everyone! Looking for people who work at the Cedar City hospital. Regardless of your position or department, do you like working there? Do you think your leadership is good? Do you feel like they take care of their employees?

For clinical staff, or nurses if there's any around here: How are the units? What are the rn-patient ratios? Do you like working there? Is there an ICU at the hospital/how many beds? How is working for Intermountain health,in general? Any other clinics or outpatient facilities where it's good to work as a nurse?

I'm a nurse and considering a move to the area. Hoping to work in cedar city but st. George isn't off the table. Seems like a beautiful community!

I'm working on a traveling quilt where I buy a skien of yarn from a local yarn store whenever my husband and I are on a road trip. And I thought there was a local yarn store here the last time I looked...

I’m a big fan of Cafe Zupas. Salads, soups, and hot sandwiches. Everything is fresh. Cedar needs more healthy food options, imo.

I'm moving to Cedar City soon and have a few housing options, but am not sure what to choose. Right now I'm narrowed down to an Earl's Estates property and the Cascade Springs apartments. I considered the Annie but the reviews are so bad that I've decided to look elsewhere.

Does anyone have any experiences with Earl's Estates and Cascade Springs? The latter is more expensive but feels like a safer bet.
