A Cirrus SR22T had an accident while performing touch and goes at Duxford Airfield. They made two successful touch and goes, and during the third touch and go the aircraft had bounced twice according to eyewitnesses.The aircraft had seemed to stall. The one sole occupant presumably the owner of the aircraft has unfortunately passed away.
On 3/26/24 at approximately 1:31AM, the MV DALI, a container vessel, struck one of the center pillars of the Key Bridge, resulting in collapse. There has been at least 4 confirmed lost souls found submerged in a truck, with an estimated 20 total victims. At least seven of those victims were an overnight construction crew working with cement. Police and Fire rescue crews are actively using a combination of boats and helicopters utilizing night vision and thermal imaging to aid in the search.
In the early morning of 3/26/24, the container ship DALI struck one of the center support columns of the Francis Scott Key bridge, leading to fire and collapse.
