Hello everyone! I tried out the free class at club Pilates and a 1:1 class at reforming Indy - now I'm stuck in my decision. Has anyone have experience with both of them or could tell me why they do/don't like one or the other? Club Pilates is closer to me and they have more super early morning classes, but reforming Indy has a better ratio since it's only 6/7 people in a class. Reforming Indy is also cheaper. Any thoughts or advice? If it matters, I'm 23 and new to Pilates, but even though I only have done the two reformer classes, I fell in love with it! Thanks in advance!
Does anyone have any information on this development? All I know is it’s a $700 million project planned for an open lot with retail, apartments, offices, and townhomes. News clippings seem to indicate it might be similar to midtown but rendered drawings show it falls short of that type of open place for people to hangout.
I have a few questions about a position they have, just wanted to know a few details. Thanks!
Hello. I’m visiting from Chicago in a couple weeks and am looking for a nice dinner spot. I’m thinking steakhouse or Italian, preferably. All price ranges welcome. Thanks!
Hey Yall, im a comedian coming to town on tour Monday 2/3 on short notice to headline a show at Union Brewing and I was wondering how do yall find out about local concerts and shows in the area? I was wondering if there were any local blogs, Instagram pages, arts papers, or events calanders folks look to to find out about shows or any way i could get the word out to locals. Any info is appreciated!
thanks!
Hey y'all, I recently moved to the Muse apartments and was hoping to make friends with some like minded people.
If anyone reading this wants to be friendly neighbors, let me know!
My boyfriend and I will be in the area (Noblesville specifically) this weekend and I would greatly appreciate some suggestions on things to do and places to go! We will be there Sunday and Monday and I’m open to suggestions anywhere in the Hamilton County general area, or even something happening in Indy! Whether it be an event or just a neat place you think is worth checking out, I’d love any suggestions you have for me! Thank you in advance!
Specifically we’re into plants, antiquing, art, wine, beer, outdoorsy stuff, etc but I’m open to anything!
anyone know of any start ups in the area? My husband is a software/systems engineer trying to get us back home and is looking for a job. Thank you!
Hello,
We have a northstar water softener that's set to 35 hardness.
Curious what other carmel residents have theirs set to? We get our water via Carmel utilities.
The water hardness strip showed somewhere between 50-120 PPM (3-7 GPG) with the 35 hardness setting.
Thinking to moving there to be close to my son and family. thanks
Hey, all. I’m recently divorced, and am looking for opportunities to rebuild community. It’s really wild how daunting and difficult this feels as a newly single father of young children in his thirties. Winter is especially challenging as sports options are limited. I already attend a gym and a church, so there’s some community there.
Anyway, I’m open to any suggestions! The more specific, the better.
Hello Fellow Carmel Friends,
In February, for two weeks, we will be traveling out of state. We don't travel much so this is the first time I've had to ask this.
When we are gone for those two weeks, and if it snows, we'd like to hire someone to clear our driveway and our sidewalk if it snows.
I would guess most snow removal companies would only want our business if it is for the entire season. And that makes sense.
Does anyone know of a reputable company (or person) who would clear our driveway and our sidewalk for those two weeks, if it snows. We don't mind paying extra since it is only temporary.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! 🙂
After 10 years of faithful service, our Kitchenaid mixer appears to have broken the worm gear (or something else). Does anyone know of a good small appliance repair shop I can take it to?
We’ve recently moved to the area and I’m looking for recommendations on a good place to play pool for families. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Snow day means a day wide open for running! Does anyone know what the state of the Monon might be? Any other trail suggestions? TIA!
My wife’s birthday is next Friday and after dinner I was hoping to take her to a bar/someplace where there was live music. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Hello!
I have elderly parents in the area & would love any recs for snow removal. TIA!
New to the area. Looking to take my kids sledding this weekend if we get some snow. Anyone have recommendations?
I did the Start/Restart clinic at Carmel Racquet Club last Spring. I've missed sign up on the last two clinics as there is only one each season and it fills up fast.
I know that some people pool together and get lessons with a Pro which I've been wanting to do but can't find other people that want to.
The rates are not too bad if we can get a group of 4 (including myself). It should only be $25.50/each lesson. I'd probably be up to do it as long as there was at least one other person and we could maybe try to add as we go?
Hey all,
My wife and I are looking for local couple's activities ideas for date nights. An example would be cooking classes at Sur La Table in Clay Terrace. I'm 59 and she's 52, so we're not looking for suggestions of "rock wall climbing" etc. :) Any recommendations would be welcome!
Any local suggestions for battery replacement for several watches? I went to Macy’s last time and they both died in less than a year.
With the weather getting cold we’ve had a few nice. We’ve sealed off some likely entry points and thought it was done but then caught a new one this morning so now back to square 1.
Any recommendations for a local company to do an inspection, help with remediation?
A few months ago I met a guy with a borzoi and Saluki on the monon trail. Trying to find him so my Windhound can have a playdate with other Sighthounds. Anyone know him!?
Dude I work with also works there, he said they’re closing on the 30th. I’ve always known this place to be busy and especially with the location, how could it not be. Haven’t been in a long while, though. Wonder if anybody heard anything? Landlord jacked up the rent? Parent company having difficulty? Shitty how these closings often seem to cluster around the holidays.
Edit: lost a g somewhere… lemme know if anyone finds it.
