Hello! So I have 20 S1 seeds of a 1:1 mixed ratio strain that I really enjoy. When I make my selection, should I self her again, or use her pollen with another selection? Would that still be a S2? I'm guessing a 2nd round of selfing increases risk of genetic depression but is more stable compared to using another selection, but woulld like confirmation/more in depth explanation from someone! Thanks in advance.
I've got a couple of strains I'm growing outdoors and they still have a ways to go. I"m hoping mid December they'll be done and will survive any frost we might get. I'm in southern Arizona so it will be chilly but hard freezes are not the norm. The crosses are Original Haze x Lao Gold and Malawi x Lao Gold. I was looking on Strainly and so far I like the Double Diesel pollen on there. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what is currently available or have pollen themselves they think would be good. I could trade some seeds of these crosses or purchase. https://strainly.io/s?q=pollen
Okay hopefully what I'm about to put here makes sense to someone
If I produce pollen from my vanilla fizz auto flower (VFA) and also produce pollen from a Jenny Kush Photo (JKP)
If I put the auto pollen onto the photo or the photo pollen onto the auto, I'll have the same genetic mix right? The likelihood of getting one gene or another in the offspring won't change depending on which one is the pollinator will it?
If so can anyone tell me what genres tend to be predictable? Like, of the pollen is from a tall plant and the recipient is stout does it force a higher likelihood of taller genetics or is it the same as if the stout plant pollinated the taller?
Where can ya get solid clones hlvd free
What’s going on everyone. Is sharing seeds a thing here? When I first started growing I was on an app called Cannabuzz and some individuals there would help the new growers by giving them some of the projects they were working on. I was one of the new growers and would love to give back when I started growing again
I’ve got a basic question: what’s the main downside of doing pheno hunting with only feminized seeds versus regular ones? Right now, I’m running 12 Mango Haze from Mr. Nice Seeds and 12 Thai Mango from RSC Outdoor. Out of the 24 plants, 18 are female, and there are 3 from each strain that really stand out—they’ve got a strong mango aroma and are super resinous. Should I reverse 2 plant from these 6 that I really like (One of each strain) and cross them, or should I take advantage of having some males in the run, pick the best male, and make regular seeds with this 6 seeds? What are the downsides of each approach?
I am new to growing and I’m looking to learn about breeding and genetics. Any place in particular I should start?

I just received THC testing results for my outdoor Lamb's Breath seed crop, and Holy Smokes! My top plant scored 30.6% total THC! That's the same plant that tested 4.88% total terpenes! These are from Lamb's Breath sativa seeds that I originally purchased from growers high in the hills above Negril, Jamaica, in 2018. I've been selectively breeding them in isolation, only keeping the best of the best. It's the only strain I grow. I have some more pics and a harvest report posted at: https://www.lambsbreathseeds.com/blogs/news
Quick question??
I wanna do a quick breeding with (10Galaxy Glaze/9Black Jack/11Gelato45/ 11ApplesXBananas/7Jack Herer/10Apple Fritter) [All reg seeds]
should i selective pollinate or should I just let them all open pollinate each other in one space???
Maui Haze is ‘79 Cherry Bomb Maui Wowie x Tom Hill Haze and grows like a feral sativa beast, musty haze smells with minimal terpinoline or citrus, early-mid November harvest
Paradise Pine is (Paradise Punch x Whitethorn Rose bx) with bright Kool Aid fruit punch type flavors that translate into smoke very well, mid September harvest with some phenos going late August
Pollinated the Maui Haze 9/2/24, just chopped her down to start drying today 10/22/24, still ~3 weeks to flower maturity but didn’t want to risk the seeds to the elements
Hello cannabis breeding team. I am drawing a blank and could use an assist! I can recall a logo I thought was super cool, and I'm just blanking on what breeder used this art. The logo I'm thinking of features a skeleton watering a plant, and their ankle is chained to it. As a cultivation professional, this image resonated with me (for positive reasons! Lol), but I can't seem to recall what breeder/ genetics company this is. Anyone recognize what I'm referring to? Thanks in advance!
Hello! My name is Marcel Suzano and I am 25years old. I have been growing cannabis no till for 6 years now, and I am in a horticulture class after taking a long break from school. I need to conduct a 10 question Skype/zoom interview with a plant related career specialist. For my final project. I wanted my interview subject to be someone that I really respect, and am truly interested in, and there is nobody else I would love to interview than somebody involved in a commercial no till /organic operation. It has to be legal unfortunately(not my choice) because I need to put a name and a face of a company or collective and present to my class. It would mean the world to have somebody in the exact industry I would like to enter one day to be my interview subject. If you or somebody you know may be okay with it please reach out to me here, or marsuzano99@gmail.com
A few beans of Smile now cry later Cindy99 regular 1st cross. Sprouting all look for the One and off we go. Gotta make more Silver T 1st
I initially bought ORK just for the fact they have RKS(Alaskan Cannabis Cache) in the mix...Skunk hunt and all that.
These ended up being incredibly homogenous from the get go, males and females all looked alike. They just varied in size more or less. Sativa Dom. Hybrid w/ beautiful NLD leafs. Their smell/stem rub was something I haven't come across in a very long time. Soured gas/Skunk, very acrid. Not RKS and not a lot of frost in the end, but still special.
So I selfed 1(Short pheno)and pollinated her and a sister(med. pheno), and a few other Skunk prospects. These are a tester run from that project.
Back L=untopped, the other 2 are topped. Almost 4 wks into 12/12. 3gal Coco mix
I grew out a pack of: mom a x mom b/Cali o and was not too impressed with the results, but these ORKs were top notch. It gives me a lot to look forward to with the Blue Orcas I have on deck. P. Red and V.Black are there too...when time allows. I dig Swamis gear for sure.
