Hi! As the title says, I'm not looking for anything in particular. I've come to learn the best part of a seed swap for me is visiting the mailbox and seeing that I've got seed mail. Send me a chat if you'd like to swap.
If you need some starting ideas, I'm more keen on...
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,
I enjoy swapping seeds/ getting them in the mail so that is the main reason as to why I'm posting this.
I'm mostly in search for things that are relativity easy to grow/beginner-friendly, space-friendly, open-pollinated, heirloom etc. (this is just if you wanted more of an idea, but I'm not picky!)
I would also love seeds that you have saved from plants you've enjoyed growing/ would recommend or plants that have a story :)
Also, I am in Zone 6a, so locally-acclimated seeds are great too.
Here's my swap list: Mary's Seeds for Swap
I'm growing out a bunch of different things especially tomatoes, so if you would like to keep in touch for later swaps that awesome too!

Hey everyone!
To celebrate Christmas, I would love to give away some seeds to anyone looking to start gardening next season! Each package I send out will contain at least 10-20 seeds of each of the following:
These are all staples for me that grow effortlessly in my garden (except maybe the kohlrabi) and that I have plenty of extra seeds of to share. They should be easy enough for anyone starting their first garden (or expanding a small garden) to handle!
I have 5 of these packages ready to go, just comment here or send me a message if you would like to receive one.
If you already have a large collection of seeds please leave these for someone else.
(Canada only)
EDIT 12/27: I still have 2 packages available
Hey everyone!
I'm new to seed swapping and loving my experience with this subreddit so far. I'd love to hear all about your success stories - no matter whether you traded here or through any other source (other subs, facebook, in person, group swaps, etc)
Did you receive any really cool, unique seeds or cross something off your wishlist? Discover a seed that did particularly well for you that you wouldn't have purchased yourself? Did your swap partner give you some bonus seeds, write a kind note or generally put a lot of thought into their trade?
Please share all your best seed swap stories!
Varieties I have available:
Anaheim
Big Jim
California Wonder (Bell Pepper)
Carolina Reaper
Dieghito Jalapeno
Habanada
Jalapeno
Pepperoncini
Shishito
Sugar Rush Peach
I'm interested in any pepper varieties I don't have (hot, mild or sweet are all fine!) to add more diversity to my collection. If you don't have any pepper seeds to trade but are still interested in anything here, I'm open to other trades as well.
Hi I'm looking to trade for some Bitter Melon and Calabash Long Squash seeds. Feel free to pm me if you have these seeds :)
EDIT: Thank you! All these seeds have now been claimed - but I'll be back with more giveaways very soon!
Hello r/CanadianSeedSwap!
I'd like to give a few seeds (10 per person) to the first 4 people interested in growing these rare tomatoes.
Here is their story from the Terre Promise website (where I purchased the seeds last spring):
"In 1995, a carpenter found a bag of about 200 seeds in the attic of an abandoned house, where no one had lived for several years already, in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce. The neighbors claimed that this house hadn’t had any garden in well over 60 years. Mrs. Gérard Parent, to whom they were given, tried to get them to grow; only three germinated. From those three initial plants originate all the current Mémé de Beauce plants found in Quebec."
The tomatoes on this plant are MASSIVE - which is why I won't be growing them again this year (my trellis wasn't strong enough to support them), but I would hate to see the rest of my seeds go to waste.
DM me your address and I will mail them out ASAP.
There's a recent post from a cannabis seed vendor that's being pretty heavily downvoted. What are our thoughts on this kind of post? Should we allow seed sales in general? Does anybody have a problem with people trading cannabis seeds in general? I don't have any problem with it personally. But we could require that drug seeds be marked "nsfw", for example, if people have concerns.
Personally, I am here to trade and meet people, not make sales. But I also want to let this community be as free as possible without moderator intervention. I figured this could be a good opportunity for discussion. What do you think?
Hi everyone! I’m looking for Good King Henry, Alexanders, skirret, salsify, lovage, watercress, and cardoons to help make a medieval food garden. I have pumpkin, zucchini, pea, bean, lewis flax, spinach, various lettuces, marigold, and sweet million tomatoes to trade. Any takers?
Though this is a seed swap subreddit, I thought it would be good to share something that I found useful. Here is a link from Seeds of Diversity that has a ton (if not all of) Canadian seed companies. CANADIAN Seed Catalogue Index | Seeds of Diversity
Seed companies from AB, BC, the Maritimes, QC etc. are included on this list and I believe that many of them sell heirloom, endangered, and rare varieties; and contributed to the Seeds of Diversity Seed Bank.
Take care and Have a great day!
Here is my document for all of the seeds that I am open to swapping : Puravidagarden's Seeds for Swap
I'm open to trading, so, for the most part, it would be great to hear what you have to offer! Feel free to pm me.
I am from Zone 6a, if that helps. I also have more of certain varieties than others, so I could give you like half of the packet or we can work something out!
Thanks for taking the time to read this and Have a Good day :)
