I’m wondering if anyone knows of a camera backpack with side access and a suspended mesh back panel?
For an idea of the back panels I’m referring to are the Deuter Aircomfort and Osprey Airscape.
Thanks for any leads you can give.
Hi! I'm using Atomos Ninja V with my Sony A7iii for external recording and I'm thinking of activating the H.265 in it. We're shooting a independent documentary film and my current codec, ProRes 422, is taking much space. I am also unsure if the upgrade is compatible with my cam. I use Premiere Pro on my M1 Mac Mini for post. Would it be worth the purchase?
I bought this base plate a long time ago but unfortunately I lost the pin that locks the rods and don't know what you call it or what the size of it. Any help would be appreciated. base plate
Has anyone knows anything about a Camerabag by the brand 'Tefors'?
Found their website and looks great, but very few reviews, and some review even says they are scam.
It looks they distributes thru B&H, Amazon, and several Ecommers site in europe.
And I assume it cost too much to create many videos/ visuals whcih they have on their website.
On the other hand, it makes me a bit worry that too few reviews and some negative reviews.
I wish to listen to some opinion from whomever knows anything about their bags.
I’d like to share a disappointing experience I recently had with a bag company.
I am (was) a big fan of Atlas Packs camera bags, out of Phoenix, Arizona.
I was recently selected as an Instagram promotion winner, being awarded a $125 gift card applicable towards the purchase of a pack. My troubles started when going through the online ordering process. I am an international customer who was aware of their $25 World Wide Flat Rate Shipping Fee.
Unfortunately, at checkout, I was quoted a shipping charge of almost 3 times the advertised rate. When I enquired with the company, stating their conflicting messaging, I made it known I was left with a ‘bait and switch’ taste left in my mouth. Only after updating the shipping portion of their website, the general manager took offence to my wording and proceeded to cancel my gift card “as a result of my behaviour”, and donate the amount plus the shipping to a charity of his choice.
What upsets me is the fact that there were no terms or conditions attached other than that the gift was transferrable to a friend. What upsets me even more was the fact that I emailed the company again to professionally and politely express my disappointment with the way the company decided to treat a customer. Whether I am a prize winning customer or not, all customers should be treated with respect and dignity.
Atlas Packs has unfortunately chosen to not respond to my email nor the Better Business Bureau.
This may be the wrong sub, but my Sandisk SD card had pictures which suddenly disappeared. Is there any cmd commands I can use to get them back?
Hi!
I’m looking for a big backpack for my video gear. I shoot a lot on the move, many times alone, and a backpack is (for me) the best way to get around with my gear.
Edelkrone’s Backpack caught my eye because it’s the biggest one in this style (with front opening fully, and compartments for gear) that I could find. But it’s also absurdly expensive and I can’t find any solid reviews of it.
Did anyone of you have it or used it and can give your honest opinion?
I mostly use G7 with 12-35 lens, very small slider, two YONGNUO YN300AIR II LED lamps, two Manfrotto Beefree Live tripods, a Zhiyun Crane gimbal, and some other, smaller stuff like Tascam DR-10L, extra batteries etc.
How much of it will I be able to fit safely and realistically into Edelkrone Backpack?
Thanks!
I have a camera which doesn't have a mic input, so I am looking for cheap shotgun microphones that run separately without having to be connected to anything (such as the Shure Lenshopper but cheaper) Does anyone know any?
I have a fujifilm s2980 that has absolutely no audio input at All. It however has two ports. Is there any objects I can use to add on a audio port?
I need help finding a mount for this rode microphone. I have it and it works but it doesn't have the mount part. Is there somewhere where I can buy a new one? Here's the images
I made a camera strap for my brother, although I am not much of a fotographer myself, I would love to hear your thoughs on it on ways I can improve it for a better user experience.
I used 3d printed ends instead of leather ones as it is commonly used, but my inspiration came from a old strap I have at home from Hama.
Just wifey and I trying to spice it up. Want the ability to post in premier for .RAW.
Hi hi hello!
I currently have a Sony dsc-h300. It’s a good camera, but it’s settings are very limited.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a camera that is useful for photography and videography? Someone suggested a canon 550d, but want more opinions.
Not too expensive if possible, £350 at the most x
Hi I recently purchased a blacks bx45 tripod off Craigslist and didn't seem to get a camera mount with it. I don't know what mount to buy like does one mount work for all tripods so anything on Amazon would work? Thanks in advance
