Hi everyone, been to Cambria many times, and noticed I’ve hardly seen any swimmers or ocean waders here at Shamel Park in Cambria. Are there any crazy undertows here?
Any recommendations for coffee shops that are good to get some work done in? Preferably with outlets?
Oi chaps. I'll be having a holiday in Cambria in a few weeks. My soul mate of 15years now. Wonderful lass. Where's some cute and nice lodging? What's some romantic spots and what's some of the fun stuff to visit? Sights sounds, arts, I noticed the Castle already quite an attraction, what else?
We've been to the Sea Chest a few times. I almost for got about the cash only policy until wife reminded me.
Not totally sure why they do that. Sure, they save 3% per swipe, but the security and convenience would be well worth it. We were a group of 5 and no way was going to leave funds on the tray until the sever was at the table.
They skimming off the top? Their local suppliers only take cash?
Dunno, its just a truck ton of cash by 9pm, and it seems a huge liability or fishy 🐠🦈
Which hotel is the nicest, with views and pet friendly? TIA!
Just some shower thoughts. What would stop you from doing this? Something seems fishy about Cambrias water. Looks like there is a waitlist for the water hook up?
Thanks!
Im coming to Cambria for a day trip, and I’d love to hear what the people who live here like best. Where would you eat? What would you do? Any great hikes?
Can we do both Big Sur and 17 miles drive on the same day?
Hi! My elderly parents live in Cambria and sometimes it's hard for them to get to the store. Does anyone have experience with getting groceries delivered there? Even Cookie Crock would be okay, but somewhere more affordable like Food 4 Less, Albertsons or Walmart would be nice. Thanks!

Can anyone inform me as to why there are so many homes for sale in Cambria?
I've checked out surrounding towns/ cities but those other places don't have the level of inventory on the open market.
I’m hoping to come to Cambria in September for the Eroica bicycle event. I was hoping to camp in my van in or around town, but the San Simeon creek campground is booked solid. Anyone got a lead on a good spot to camp within reasonable biking distance to the town?
Hello, so Cambria is one of my favorite to visit and want to take a trip there again soon. Last time I was there, I remember finding this place that had excellent sandwiches and burgers, and it was kind of in an older style building with just a small counter to order. Also, there was a small-secluded space to sit in the back that was under some trees. I remember they had a wonderful burger with blue cheese. I don't remember the name of the place, and I can't find anything on Google Maps that fits the description.
So does anyone know which place I might be thinking of and if it's still around?
Thanks
Just spent a week there, in neighborhood of Shamel Park.
I walked a bit in the neighborhood around 9:00pm, it is so very dark there which is great for star gazing, but man, I noticed there are so many vacant homes it was like walking in a ghost town . At night, in the pitch black, it was SPOOKY!
My mother-in-law (who lives west of the 1) is looking for a better internet solution. Currently she’s using AT&T and it is awfully slow and incredibly unreliable. Video conferencing, streaming, and Remote Desktop is pretty much a non-starter. AT&T says it’s 3 Mbps but I can tell you that it is definitely not. She’s lucky if she can get a sixth of that speed reliably. Are there any other options? Not looking for fiber here (lol) but at least something a bit more stable and slightly faster. Thanks all!
I'm in Ventura county. Wondering how the weather is this month in Cambria.
Staying here in Cambria for a week. Lovely town. Wondering what the demographics are of people buying here..... retirees, 2nd homes , remote workers?
Hello Cambria Redditors. We have dear friends who are lending us their home for the weekend. My wife has a birthday and she really appreciates a good chocolate cake. Is there an automatic choice to find a good cake or slide of cake in Cambria? If not, I'll have to pack one in. Bonus question, if you are aware of any great and struggling restaurants we should go to, we are down for that.
Hi everyone, we visit Cambria about 4x a year, haven’t really come up much this year . How you guys doing there? Are the restaraunts holding up?
