For the hilarious moments when your baker is not on the same page as you.

Oops $$$
This is a cake for a party for a group of friends where I chose to be the one providing the cake, all of us with “Tarus” season bdays. 🤪 They tried.
He ordered me an icecream cake to surprise me with on my birthday. He put it in the fridge before I arrived. After dinner he pulls this out.
He was so devastated and I was laughing for 30 minutes straight. To top it off because it was liquid my brain kept thinking 'hot soup' and I couldn't stop blowing on the spoon before eating it 😭
His excuse "they had it in a fridge at the store" to which I started laughing even harder because it was a display freezer!!! 😂
This one is going down in history as my favorite birthday cake I've ever had.
We debated on "accidentally" dropping this cake after we PAID for it and just running to the closest store instead. Not only is it ugly but it had hair rolled into the fondant.
My son’s birthday is today so my husband and I decided to scare the hell out of him with the famous lamb cake. I am actually a good baker but an impatient decorator so we decided to go all in. It is not as horrific as I had hoped!
I manage a bakery.
I left slightly early to prepare for the inevitable overtime with Inventory this weekend. And had worked almost eight hours straight, so golden.
Everything else was done - I told my team to feel free to "get creative," which means helping the Cake Central team decorate or to be imaginative with cupcakes - whatever.
A member of my team got creative, and I came back today to find this.
It's not TECHNICALLY a fail. I had it fixed before it was put on the floor. We all know EXACTLY what this looks like.
It's not balloons.
I'm still laughing at this. I had to share!
Please is not the last name. Lol
Made this chocolate cake with a chocolate frosting layer in the middle and (attempted)decorated it to look like a dirt road I tried but he said it was really good and that’s all that matters :) ( the “dirt” is crushed Oreos )
This last Valentine's I made my husband a chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream which went horribly horribly wrong. I honestly don't even know what I was going for! Way too much frosting in any case.
The flowers are edible
I made myself a birthday cake for my first birthday alone without family and it did NOT go great 😭
A student at a school my friend works at brought this in today
I was sold this as strawberry shortcake by an “experienced” cake baker. She “ran out of strawberries” so she topped it with blueberries. Thoughts?
