If I miss my cakeday, what happens?
Cakedays start at midnight UTC on the Account's birthday and end at 12:00 UTC the following day. Cakedays aren't saved for you anymore like previously. The admins discovered this made reddit faster. :D
When is my reddit cakeday?
You can find the exact date on your userpage. Otherwise, this website tells you exactly when it is.
Who is the oldest redditor?
/u/spez is the oldest, fitting since he's also current CEO of reddit. /u/kn0thing is next! He's an admin and he's 10.
What is the most popular Cakeday post of all time?
The most popular post was this one by /u/georgehotelling on December 30th, 2014 with 8,229 points. The second most popular is a nsfw gonewild post.
Do self-posts get karma?
YES!
No! Sadly self-posts do not get karma. If you want to collect your gift, you will have to post links and write comments!

Yayyyyyu
I deleted Reddit at the time of my cake day, but I am proud to say I am 2 years in.
8 years on reddit, truly gutted I didn’t think to make an account a day earlier to join in on may the 4th be with you memes.
May the 4th be with you! 11 years and counting!
Still here! Still no life!
Being a massive Star Wars fan I love that my Cake day is today.
My cake day, birthed from the pandemic!
I’ve used Reddit to help me grow from hating socializing to enjoying and craving it. Thank you all, the good and the bad has all helped me learn and grow.
Growth is great but it doesn’t pay the bills or bring happiness into my life automatically. Growing towards things to enjoy does bring happiness into my life. I’m glad I’m here and I’m glad I have so much to look forward to.
The intention was always fun but the person behind it is having fun now too.
This is the first time in 5 years that I celebrate my cake day! Have I been missing out? How do you typically celebrate it? 🍰 Let me know in the comments below. 🥳
Here’s a photo of my cat from 10 years ago.
6 years on Reddit and 15 days Post op from my 2nd knee replacement. Reddit has gotten me through tough pain days (& long nights) while I recover. I’m still grateful for all the entertainment and information I always get here.
It's been 2 years in Reddit and I still enjoy coming here time to time. I'm glad to have somewhere to share my thoughts about the topics that are rarely mentioned in my country and meet global fans who are interested in same topic as me.
Anyways, good day to you all!
Almost forgot. Sitting here in the er with my mom and waiting on the dr. pulled up Reddit and realized it’s today and not tomorrow.
Time flies when you’re scrolling Reddit. 😉
Happy cake day to me!
Joined Reddit 10 years ago to see what my sons were talking about (they sent me the link).
Still don't know their account names (they are adults now).
Woot. Love me some cake
