idk if anyone else has had this issue but my ucdaccess has not worked once ever since the semester started. it was never rlly a issue until now where i have to access it. everytime i try it just doesn’t load and says “try deleting cookies” which ive done multiple times and it just says the same thing?
has anybody utilized the free counselor meetings? are they helpful?? i really need some sort of outlet right now but i have horrible experience with counselors and therapists. do the ones here actually take u seriously and not look at u like u have four heads? cuz that’s my concern.
Does anyone happen to know how transferring over from UCCS might be like? It's something I've been considering heavily.
I've been trying to get ahold of admissions for about a week now, but haven't had any luck so far. I was hoping someone here might have an idea.
this post is gonna sound rlly pathetic but i’m desperate atp😭 im a first year here, i moved all the way from florida so i dont know anyone. obv its been a bit since school started but im still struggling to connect with anyone. im a biology major and im realizing everyone in this major is nothing like me. i love this as a learning subject, but other than that it rlly doesn’t encompass who i am at all so i can’t relate to anyone. i’ve tried rlly hard to come out of my shell and think im doing a good job of it, but no one sees my effort. i stopped talking to ppl first and low and behold, now they don’t talk to me. this has made me rlly miserable that it’s affecting my school performance , i have missing assignments and have skipped class (which is nothing like me) bc im just too sad knowing i wont have the laughter or joy of friendship. it also doesn’t help that i don’t have social media for personal reasons (i have reddit obv but never used it) bc everyone says that’s where its best to see what everyone’s doing like events and club stuff. does anyone have any suggestions?? im a big nerd that loves videogames and art, im also super queer so i was disappointed to see that theres no LGBT club at this school. i know theres the resource center but a proper club would be easier for me since thats what i did at home :/ yea anyway if u read this thanks for ur time
Hi all, I'm an international student looking to begin my MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering department come Spring 2025. I've been offered admission with no funding. If anyone knows of any assistantship/Scholarship I can apply to, I'll really appreciate. Thanks y'all
does cu denver have a ceramics studio? i don't see any ceramics classes. but i see that msu has a ceramics studio. can cu denver students use that studio??? lmk 😞
Lord help me… why tf do we only get 1 week off for winter break? Shorter than regular k-12 😭 is this even correct? I need to make travel plans and this is insane if this is true… I was at csu last year and we had 4 weeks off.

I just wanted to put this out there for those of you looking into this course. For those that don't know it is an introduction to programming for data science.
All of the materials utilized for this class can be found online for free.
Here is are the notebooks for the work: https://github.com/CU-Denver-MathStats-OER/Programming-for-Data-Science
All the video lectures can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/@mathstat-oer
You will not have any interaction with the professor (Dr. White) and you will be graded on all or nothing basis. It does not matter what the "mistake" is. It can be as simple as a cosmetic issue.
Do yourself a favor and sign up for another class or just use these FREE resources instead of paying like a dumb ass.
I chose a top 250 school over 13 top 115 schools for the mountains and diversity. I got the mountains, and no diversity. I have been emailing with financial aid for 8 months and still haven’t been provided a determination whatsoever. This school and the way they handle financial aid is nothing like other schools in the United States and definitely not on the east coast. This is absolute bullshit. Then when you go to Lynx Central they don’t know anything and can barely help, they put you in a room with someone else from customer service and nothing happens.
I regret my decision in coming here. Absolutely terrible school, the only thing good is that it’s an R1 with good professors.

Hi! Im a senior this year and I was looking at cu denver and I realized I didn't take 2 years of Spanish, only one. Am I totally screwed?
im applying to CuDenver for the art program from rmcad in lakewood, my only worry is my gpa, its a 2.37 with 45 credits. I took a huge dip in classes because i had a sudden onset of a really huge mental health crisis. i used to be honor roll and i love taking classes and being in school, im just worried i wont get accepted for pretty much only this reason. i have a really decent portfolio, and im in good standing with my school, are my chances low?
I have had an HP Pavilion since 2019, and have never had to change the password. I recently had to log into Office 365 on my personal computer, as most classes require using Word and the school email address gives me access.
My computer is still logged into my personal Microsoft account, but when I attempted to sign in with my 4-digit PIN, "my organization" required I change to a 6-digit PIN. I didn't consent for CU to take any other power or access to my personal device, and I am unsure what other control/access they may have. Can I change these settings so I am the only admin on my computer again?
Gonna have to take 5 tech electives on top of into to software in Spring in order to graduate. Which electives were the easiest for yall?
Bro, is anyone bill up to date? Bc when i calculate I thought I wojld pay at least less than 1-2k/sem but my account says 6k for a SEMESTER? That’s the total amount I paid for a single year at CSU with dorm, I transferred for affordability too and am commuting… brooo my fafsa still isn’t in my account I need to know how much I’m paying before attending this damn school ughhh
Emailed financial office and admission about this awhile back. They are taking to many business days to reach back
Hi all,
I was wondering if anybody knew more information regarding the price increase for the college pass for this semester? During spring 2024 I paid about $150 for my pass and now the new pass for the fall semester has shot up to $250😅! Any info would be greatly appreciated.
How quick does the waitlist for the CoLab student living go? I am currently around 8th on the waitlist. Is it possible to secure a lease during the fall semester?
I literally moved in today and was wondering what the median year people are in this.
I recently moved to the Auraria Lofts and have no idea where to park that isn’t $200 a month. Any suggestions?
I’ve seen a lot of people say that CU Denver being largely a commuter school can make social life challenging. Does this mostly apply to commuters? Has anyone that’s lived on campus found it easier to socialize/make friends?
Hi guys - I know this is a new program but I wanted to get your feedback on it. Rationale for launching is because the school has been offering an MBA w/ Sustainability courses and the demand is strong for sustainability. I am looking at other programs and the cost seems to be high (Harvard, Columbia, DU, etc) so for. Ok I am considering this one. Thanks!

I am going to CU Denver next year as a freshman and I am just sort of jonsing to socialize and am hoping that there is a party culture. I come here to ask: Is there? Are there parties at cu Denver? Like I hope and wonder. Please if you know, I would love to be a person who knows too.
Hi, I'm planning to apply for my MS in Computer Science program at the University of Colorado. I wanted to know how much the university faculties, tuition, or the curriculum differ in Denver campus and the Colorado Springs campus?
I would love to go to school for premed in Colorado, so that I can climb 14ers on the weekend. I’ve done a lot of research, and CU Denver and Regis currently top my list. I’m looking for a school that will prepare me well for med school, and is also not incredibly expensive for out of state students. Are there any other schools that I should look into?
Hey all, I’m set to graduate next spring. I’m planning on finishing my major electives (4 classes) and Principles of Finance. If I add MGMT 4500 on to this list of courses to take for the spring next year, would that be too much? If so, would taking MGMT 4500 as a maymester class be ideal? Asking for anyone that has graduated with a business degree.
