Hey guys so, i just got my account banned a few hours ago… thankfully i learned that community banned are common and il’l probably get my skins back but… now im scared… it’s that easy to lose everything that you hard worked for? im married moved out and use all my extra money to invest on cs… but… im not a teenager anymore i don’t have 3k (my inventory value) to lose so yeah breaks my heart as a cs skin enjoyer but i think im going to sell everything

Does anyone know why there wasn't a major update around the 1 year anniversary?

I've been doing some tradeups for the overpass 2024 collection (4 from the collection, 6 fillers). Fillers are SG553 Anodized Navy or MP7 Anodized navy. On paper, these should result in a 66% chance of receiving an item from the overpass 2024 collection, however over the past 10 Ive done, 9 results have been from the lake collection. According to a binomial calculator, the odds of this happening are about 0.002%, or one in 50000. Did valve change trade ups or should I never gamble for the rest of my life?

I get this alot. Theres nothing in my launch options. My Nvidia drivers are up to date so is my windows and i have to restart the game 2-4 times everytime before it will work how do I fix this??

I know the floats between 1-100,000. Has anyone seen one lower than 40?

Is there some way to stop this from happening? Every time I load the game up I'm dying behind walls, teleporting, I'll scope in with my AWP and it'll be a full second before I'm looking down the scope. There must be some magic network setting to adjust or some router I can buy. I've turned off QoS features, done traces to see if there's jitter, and done everything short of moving house to somewhere with a fiber optic connection and I just cannot stop lagging. I have a 2-gigabit duplex copper connection through xFinity. I've had techs come out, everything. Is there some way to fix this?

Everyone assumes Vertigo will be removed from the active duty map pool (= the maps in Premier that are also played by the pros) and here's why:

• Almost all pros have spoken out against the map
• It hardly gets played in professional games
• The last change to the map was not successful in making it popular again (where they opened up A-site)
• It is the likely least played map in the active duty map pool

However, a lot of people also call for Mirage to be removed, but I am fairly certain it won't happen yet. It will also not be reworked yet:

• CS2 doesn't run well for many people yet and therefore it is super important that Mirage (the most played map) is easy to run.

Because of that, I think it'll take at least another year before they rework or replace Mirage.

The devs will want to optimise the game further first and simultaneously wait for people to eventually get better hardware (both will happen ofc).

The Cover Panel on the M4 is such an eye sore with the grey color scheme. Every other M4A1-S cover panel is colored in except the Fade here. Valve pleaseeeeeeeee fix. Thank you <3

Got a question about instant smokes spawns. And before you ask, yes I have seen the maps (not tried them tho) :). Anyways I was wondering if there’s an easy way to find out what spawn u got. like for example, what way your character is facing when u span?

I just bought some knife skins and gloves and alwayse was hoping to make a profit out of it, So i started with some basic skins bowie knife and ect. I alwayse thought steam market takes 5% off everytime you buy/sell, But i calculated and at least for my country they take 13% off.

So here is my question : I put int around 700€ from my own cash into it and im losing like 15% on everything,

Is there any way or second party site that could help me get profit on what i invested into steam.

Preferably if someone could rank the settings by their impact on performance (fps), meaning which setting that if I turn all the way up sinks FPS the most, and which setting that has the least impact and all in-between
