Solidnet statement by CPL (or LCP) on escalation.

http://www.solidnet.org/article/Lebanese-CP-Joint-Statement-In-solidarity-with-thePalestinian-and-Lebanese-people-against-occupation-and-the-genocidal-war/

The westerners are not alone, after all a majority of communists are in the Global South. Don’t be discouraged and keep fighting on, apartheid will lose 🫡

Positive communist news: CPI(M) is participating in a big way in the India Samsung Strikes

https://peoplesdispatch.org/2024/10/02/solidarity-protests-erupt-across-tamil-nadu-as-samsung-workers-strike-enters-fourth-week/

Inquilab zindabad! This is a pretty large strike so it’s nice to see that the CPI(M) has the capacity to participate in a major way

Will we get brigaded or smth?

CPUSA is doing rounds as of late, at least some of that will translate here I feel. Are there any measures that mods as of right now to maintain sub quality? It’s kind of chill and informative here and I’d like for it to stay.

Is CPUSA going to glow up its online handles? There's no engagement..

The most engagement the CPUSA have had on Twitter in a while (if ever!) are overzealous purists and Strasserites on the summary of the recent National Convention, otherwise engagement there is absolutely abysmal. GMR averages less than 1k views per stream and it takes more or less 3-4 weeks after the fact to even reach 2-2.5k. The most views that the Party has gotten on a single channel is 22k and there are only 11.9k subscribers as of current. It seems like hating on the party is a more popular opinion amongst western Communists than actually supporting it, and these are the only types of people that even bother to engage with CPUSA media handles. What is the CPUSA going to do about this? Even if it isn't pressing, this seems like a problem that could lead to less support from the youth segment of the population.

Comrade Sitaram Yechury, General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), has passed away.

http://solidnet.org/article/Marxistindia-Homage-to-Comrade-Sitaram-Yechury/

We lost a real one today, but we should take his example in our hearts and march forward. Inqilab zindabad, and let us strive for our victory, for economic democracy and social justice, as he would have wanted every communist to do.

Is there a place I can buy a sticker to show my support

I support the CPUSA but I live in a rural area where there is no chapter (and it’s a ruby red state) but I’d love to show my support without joining at the moment. Edit: the reason I’m asking here is because I want to make sure the proceeds would go to the CPUSA and not somewhere else

Is the Political Affairs website or newspaper ever coming back?

PA was much more theory oriented and had full on Marxist-Leninist analysis made for Marxist-Leninists. People’s World just seems more public facing, and I know that this is important to be able to present oneself. However, I’d like to read some new and fresh political theory such as analyses and full on explanations of current and past events, and People’s World only sometimes has it (although it is very high quality and insightful when it does). Are there any plans for it to come back or would it just be too expensive to operate at this time?
