Bonsoir, Est ce que l'un d'entre vous a eu des expériences avec la Procédure HOCSMAN ou DRESSEN? Je suis médecin spécialiste (diplôme de spécialité obtenu en Allemagne) je désire exercer en France.. Merci d'avance!
Hey guys I live in the twin cities up in Minnesota. There are very few cng filling stations here and I’m wondering how you guys get you fuel? Do any of you have at home fueling stations? And if so how expensive was that?
I am the original owner of a 2012 Honda Civic GX which is still in great condition in the Kansas City area with a little over 100,000 miles on it. Given the age of the tanks, I'm considering whether I should keep the car for my granddaughter to drive or whether it's better to trade/sell before the tanks hit the expiration date. (is it even possible to get new tanks or get these inspected to continue to use the car?) I don't know anyone else who is still driving this car. Thoughts??
Any one have CNG Items for sale please contact me. Looking for I/R compressor and parts. Will consider any CNG items.
Hello, I recently bought a seat Ibiza tgi, I know a common issue for CNG/LPG cars is carbon deposit on valves and the lack of valve cooling. I saw there are fuel additives for preventing valve/engine damage. They can be added to the CNG tank or petrol tank depending on the type. Would you recommend using an additive? Which type? Thanks in advance
Is the pump pressure of CNG directly proportional to the quantity. Does the quantity of CNG filled, increase with the pressure?
I work for a gm dealer and we have a 13 GMC CNG van in our shop, we are currently trying to replace a check valve but are having a hard time getting orings for the valve from gm. My question i guess is if there is anything special about these orings or can we just pull some orings from a kit we have in my department, we arent sure if maybe these orings are made differently or made only for cng setups. any help is much appreciated. Thank you
For reference we are replacing #12 in the photo attached and 23 and 11 are the orings.
I bought a Ford Transit gas / CNG last year, but my work has changed a lot since Covid, and I'm looking to sell it. Facebook marketplace lists the vehicle at it's suggested price but does not factor-in the CNG conversion and other extras included (I put a roof rack on it). I'm asking for about $1500 more than the median price for a (non dual-fuel) Transit to cover my costs. Does anyone have a suggestion on a community where I could list a duel-fuel CNG for sale? Craigslist has turned into a joke with scammers.
Hey everyone!! I'm a CNG Technician that services CNG fueling stations around the state of Pennsylvania. I won't include my company's name, but we are a nation wide company and I'm just looking to help out with any questions!
We claim an enthusiasm to drive and also deals in CNG filling station dealership. The thought behind it is to have a green planet and energy independence.
We spend significant time in self-continuing substitute future energy anticipates for all business people.
Further, we can provide a best CNG pump dealership cost that you can afford and help in keeping our planet green.
Hey all, I work for a service company where we typically buy our own vehicles. I saw an ad for a 2010 ford e250 cng. I have no knowledge of these vehicles but the price tag was very appealing. Is there anyway to find resources on cng vehicles? I can't even find am estimated fuel economy on these newer vans. I figure as long as I can go 200 miles on a full tank I'll be fine. Any insight on these vehicles?
I’m looking at buying a 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500 that is CNG. I can’t find a mechanic that will inspect it for me (there seems to be only one place in Denver that works on CNG vehicles). Is there anything I should look out for? I’ve read a bit on here about expiring tanks, how long do they usually last? There are sufficient fuel stations near me and in the areas I want to go, so I’m not worried about that.
I'm trying to understand how the injectors and or fuel pump are shut off when switching between gasoline and CNG or propane.
I'm doing a syngas conversion on my 2001 Dodge V10. I'm wanting to know how I can shut gasoline supply off, while still maintaining ignition. I had originally thought this would be a relatively simplistic task, but after much research I've learned I don't know squat about how this works.
Any advice or direction would be helpful, thanks for your time.
As a Canadian, I've always been a big car nut. Muscle cars, trucks, exotics, everything.
My environmental conscious has killed my desire for big HP cars somewhat but now that I'm living in Spain I was wondering if it would make any sense to convert a Porsche to CNG.
Would it be safe to convert a ~2000 vintage Boxter or 911 with ~100k kms just to have something fun to and environmentally friendly to rip around in?
I bought a 40' city bus that runs on diesel and CNG (mixed together, which I don't know if it is standard or not, since I'm a CNG bus noob!!).. Well, the tanks are expired by a few years and the bus isn't really reliable enough to drive to filling station. What are my options?
It doesn't seem there is a such thing as CNG delivery? maybe i haven't looked hard enough. For me, this would be ideal.
Depending on the effort/cost, I think I would rather remove the CNG stuff so it can run on diesel only.
extra background:
- there is no natural gas in the area, so I can not hook into existing infrastructure.
- i likely will not make the bus 100% road worthy, although it is driveable, so driving to filling station periodically is out of the question.
Does anyone know how good cng work with a direct injection system? I have heard that because the gasolin injection doesn't work it gets burned by the heat. Also anyone who have done it in a lexus?
Hi, I have a 1950s f1 that I am working on with the original flathead engine. I have been looking around to see if there are (not insanely expensive) kits for a truck like this or something that could be easily adapted to a truck like this. Does anyone know of any kits/companies that have something like this?
I can't seem to find the way to add a CNG station to the app or website. Anybody done this before?
I found a SoCal Gas station in Fontana, CA at Citrus and Valley for 2.05 gge!
Anyone know how to make or get a gas compressor that can get up to 5000psi for a CNG car?
I just purchased on auction a K2500HD fleet truck that was converted to CNG. The fleet did something to the truck so that it is CNG only - any ideas what they may have done to force CNG only? I bought the truck assuming that whatever the company did could be undone and the truck could be made to run bi-fuel.
I have not picked up the truck yet - it will be next week before I get my hands on it
So I'm ~30 hrs away from home working, and enjoy messing around in cheap cars whenever possible.
I found a 2001 crown Vic. CNG car. Really clean. Nothing is non-functional. A/c is ice, windows work, radio, lights, etc. Drives and rides just about perfectly. Some paint peeling on the trunk but not bad.
I've never encounted a CNG car. Didn't even know that this was one until I looked at it.
The core support says the tanks expired in 2013. I haven't looked at the tanks extensively. It just has two tanks mounted In the trunk. From what I could see, they looked fine.
It's $450. I just want a fun car to beat around in while I'm away from home.
Are expired tanks that dangerous, even with the tanks being in the trunk, in a dry environment?
I've never had/seen a CNG vehicle.
Thanks!
I got a 2011 Ford cng E250 from At&t and there is a weird switch on the Tash that goes to some sort of valve. What is it for?
Experienced some pretty severe stutter in this car when it's in close loop or idle but would even out when under acceleration or at highway speeds. Started investigating replacement spark plugs and came across Ruthenium HX^(TM) from NGK. This was literally a plug and play resolution for this issue. Didn't have to gap them either, kept the stock 0.032" as well. For the Civic it was LKR88HX-S but for other applications see: NGK
In 2017, I bought a Tecodrive 7000, the first CNG prototype certified in California. I have compiled on my website the history of the engine and the documentation of the certification. I also started a page about the industry behind the prototype and several channels to talk about CNG innovation, such off the grid and methane. I convert the Tecodrive 7000 into my art studio, and I am very active to continue innovation and promote new technologies.
I invite you to visit my website and participate in my research with the comment section. I would like to bring a community together around the Tecodrive 7000, to continue innovation, communication, information and development of this market.
Hey guys,
Anyone has experience with CAI (cold air intake) kits on CNG cars? I am not looking for a performance boost, I just want my car to run better and avoid overheating. Brazilian summers are scorching, and since the methane combustion releases more energy, the engine gets hotter on CNG than it would get on gas.
My car's intake is near the engine block (IDK why they designed it like this...), so when I get on a traffic jam during summer, the car overheats if I have my A/C on. Since I'm going to put a hose for grabbing fresh air from the front grill anyway, I was thinking about a CAI. If the engine gets colder air it not only means there's more oxygen for the combustion, since colder air is denser, but after the mixing with the natural gas, it'll naturally help the temps go down a bit.
So, does CNG cars run well with CAI kits?
As per the title, I bought a 2011 Civic GX. It has 172k miles on it, but they're mostly freeway miles and it's in great shape aside from the high mileage.
I live in the San Francisco Bay area, so we have relatively plentiful CNG filling stations. I just got it inspected, and the tanks are in great shape.
I paid $3,000 for the car, and put another $1,100 into it for new tires, inspections, and the like. Aside from the PITA 200 mile range, it's been a really nice car so far.
Are their any other Civic GX owners out there with tips and tricks I should know?
So I am converting this back to gas only, removing the CNG system because the compuvalve is shot and really not worth fixing. I read that you need the tank decommissioned, need new injectors, regular gas PCM, new spark plugs. So my question is How important is it to replace the plugs and injectors? Both are working, I only run it on gas and have only run it on gas for a while and it works fine. Why would those need to be replaced? I want to remove it because I need to do the intake manifold gasket and all that CNG stuff that doesn't even work takes up a lot of space and most mechanics wont even touch it even though it doesn't work. So yeah any info on this would be great!
