The Bulls have had a good start to the season, exciting comebacks, and I don't know anyone IRL watching. All anyone can tell me is they don't know how to watch the games, and when I tell them they need an antenna, they just say they won't watch then. I don't understand how the Bulls and Blackhawks could possibly think this was a good idea, and none of them are willing to pay $10-30 for an app monthly to watch. Obviously, anyone on here is going to go out of their way to watch the games.
Obviously, I think these averages will come down as we get a larger sample size, but Vooch's decision making and shot selection have greatly improved this year. Been a huge part of our offense and it's good to see the improvement.
I was optimistic that he was going to have a legacy game last night, turn it on vs Palo, but got a quickly brought to earth , really looking at the schedule being honest about the matchups, and I'm predicting, Nov 17th at home vs the Rockets as Pat "Paw" Willams breakout game.
Reasoning, coming off the night before playing the first In Season Tourney Matchup vs a strong Clevland squad, playing a Rockets team at home, most likely guarded by Jabari Smith or Dillion Brooks, I see "Paw" lighting it up for 17 points minimum, with a couple strong takes, maybe even and and1 put back or something in transition. I think the Rockets are going are a mostly guard dominated team on both sides of the ball, and with our guards being tired from presumably beating the Cavs in a barn burner, this will be Pat's time to shine.
IF (heavy emphasis on that) the FO actually attempts to rebuild over the next year, whether through trading zach/vooch/other players before or during the offseason, do you view coby as a valid building block for the future? i’ve seen some bulls media outlets debating his ability to be the face of a franchise and whether or not we should consider placing him and ayo on the trade block. personally, i don’t want either of them going anywhere unless we get an absolutely outstanding trade package.

The last day they were both over .500 was November 23, 2013. 3,994 days ago. The Bulls were 6-5 and lost to the Clippers the next day. The Bears were 6-4 and would also lose the next day, to the Rams.

Hello , I am hoping to make a trip to Chicago at the end of February to watch the Raptors vs Bulls. Are the club level seats good viewing ? Any United Center tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance !
Hey all pretty new to going to bulls game especially this close, form my understanding its courtside then row A, B, and then row 1 where I have seats for tonights Bulls vs Magic game, are there any perks to be in this section?
I have been in the 200 Club Lexus Level before and the in seat dining is a nice feature so I was wondering if anyone with experience could offer some insight
Apologies for repeat post last post I posted section 101 instead of 110
I know they’ve been rumored to be interested in Brandon Ingram or Zach, I think they should be our top team to trade him to, we may have to take back miles bridges and hopefully trade him right away or whatever happens with that happens, the main reason for the trade in my opinion should be Nick Richard’s; he’s a fuckin dog, and would be the perfect backup to vooch or replacement starter if/when we trade vooch; that would be giddey, coby, pat, smith and vooch as the starters with a bench of ayo, Lonzo, Phillips, Buzelis and Richard’s, we’d be so balanced as a team and i believe this fully pushes the youth movement whether we keep vooch or not
Nick Richard’s is perfect for us, he’ll go from being vooch’s back up to his replacement
It's really this simple, if we win a low amount of games we get a high pick. If we win too many, players like Lavine and Vucevic will massively increase in value. As the season progresses teams that aren't where they want to be will panick and trade us assets for them. This means our team will go back to being bad and we'll have our pick again, along with more assets for the rebuild.
The blueprint is the Orlando Magic. They were consistently a middling team in the east, traded their best players away for picks (guess which team bit on that offer 🙄) and used their picks + the picks of other teams to build a good young team with a guy they know is their established number 1.
OKC has built a contender with this model, Cavs are also quite good with most of their best players being below 25. The Wizards have made a decent start, Sarr is already a high level switchable defender and has nice offensive upside. We need to jump on this too, it's our only pathway to success.
It seems Vucevic has found his spunk again so far in the few games he's played, looks miles better than he did last season, he's scoring well, he's rebounding well, he's doing what you'd expect of a fit Vucevic, the real question is, would you rather keep him for the rest of the season or do we still think it's the right move to trade him, perhaps letting Jalen Smith develop as our starting center?
I had a random thought to myself, please tell me if I'm wrong for thinking this. Coby whites career so far has been better than Lonzo career. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would definitely say he's our number 2 option he should be. He's proven to be a great scorer, and stepped up to be a leader. I see Lavine and ball doing there give and take between the two of them, ignoring Coby. I hope they don't forget how's he's stepped up to cover both of there long injury time offs. Sorry for putting those against each other, they're teammates and our players.
Reasons why:
1.) It's not working. Refs aren't calling it like they were back in the Harden days, nor should they.
2.) It's not aligned with Coby's character. We all know Coby is a dog and this kind of behavior just doesn't fit, and it completely throws him off rhythm.
3.) It's stopping his brand of best basketball play and the other teams know it. It's seeming more and more clear that physical defense is what stops Coby. Not just the actual defense, but now if you bump Coby, he tries to bait the foul instead of staying focused on the drive.
4.) It's holding Coby back mentally. If he's focused on baiting fouls, then not only is that a completely opposite focus on playing style, but it also detracts from the other aspects of his game that he can improve on like driving with physicality, counter moves, passing, etc.
P.S. I'm pretty sure he learned this from LaVine and his "Ayyyy!". Player like LaVine, Harden, Young, and others who have and still depend on foul baiting aren't succeeding like they used to. Others, like Luka, who rapidly adjusted are still doing well. Learn from this.
It's only four games, BUT... the Bulls' pace is off to a ridiculous start this season.
Last year, they ranked 28th in pace (96.9). That was a pretty stark dropoff in the Billy Donovan era, where they've ranked ~15th since he started.
This year, possessions are way up. In fact, their pace is first in the league: 108.9.
Obviously, we've barely started the season and there's no way that's sustainable. And all four teams that the Bulls have played are top 10 in pace this season. But the Bulls are clearly all in on a new identity, and it's why I don't hate the deep rotations we're seeing so far. We're not burning guys out - Zach is the only player inside the top 50 for MPG.
It'll be interesting to see how they handle some teams that have a slower pace of play. Although the next five games will likely only slow down a bit.
10/30, Orlando - 17th in pace
11/1, Brooklyn - 14th
11/4, Utah - 7th
11/6, Dallas - 14th
11/7, Minnesota - 24th
With some very winnable games coming up and no back to back games at least within the next week, could it be possible the Bulls get a winning record? If they can fix their turnovers and find better ways to score when that 3 isn’t falling, we might just have a team that can do something!
"somebody better sign this kid. They scooped him up the next day."
