Washington State QB Anthony Gordon had another brilliant performance on Saturday night against Oregon State, throwing for 606 yards and 6 TDs. The latest in a long line of Mike Leach signal callers, Gordon has also broken the PAC-12 single-season passing yardage and passing TDs record. Despite three interceptions which allowed the Beavers to hang close, Gordon was able to pull through on the final drive and earn a bowl berth for the Cougars.

What defenses do you like for rivalry week?

I think I’m rolling with UGA vs GT but I don’t love it. I had SCar but don’t like the Clemson matchup.

Who to Start conundrum

Have multiple start worthy wide receivers with favorable matchups for the championship game and the upside of each has me conflicted

Kyle Williams vs WYO Josh Kelly vs WVU Jeremiah Smith vs. Michigan Eli Pancol vs. WF

I have 2 spots and Kyle Williams slotted in to start in one given his breakouts this year. The other 3 are tough to pick from in my eyes. Any insight?

Flex decision I am also contemplating

Demond Claiborne vs. Darius Taylor

Both get volume and Receptions. Claiborne has been more consistent but Taylor has a good matchup this week. Tough call

One Last Question

I’ll just throw this one out there. I need to decide on my RB/Flex positions. Pick 3.

Corey Kiner (vs TCU) only concern is lack of TDs

Jerimayah Love (@ USC) been playing well lately

Tre Wisner (@ TxAM) 20+ touches past 4 of 5 games

Isaac Brown (@ Ky) seems healthy

Kye Robichaux (vs Pitt) 21+ touches past 3 games

Nate Frazier (vs Ga Tech) maybe if Etienne is out

Right now, I have Kiner, Love, and Wisner. Thanks.

WR Change?

Trying to decide if I should drop Andrew Armstrong (Ark WR vs Mizzou) for someone on waivers. cbssports.com shows Mizzou as #18 pass defense. Armstrong has been getting a lot of targets, but hasn't scored many TDs. Here are my WR options

Cayden Lee vs Miss St : looks like Tre Harris might be out

Elijhah Badger vs Fla St : last 2 games were good, not much before that

Cam Coleman vs Bama : think Bama's pass defense is pretty good

Darrell Gill vs Mia : is Pena out next game, will Gill take his spot

Knocked out of the playoffs and trying to build for next year

Highest scoring team in the league. I had Jeanty, RJ Harvey, Cam Ward, Tahj Brooks....except most of them were on bye the first week on the playoffs.

Since all of those guys are inevitably gone this season, I am looking to grab a few guys for next season in my keeper league. Preferably freshman or sophomores. Any suggestions on some sleepers? I already have Isaac Brown, Giovanni Lopez, and Elijah Davis.

1 RB, 1 WR, and 2 Flex

I have Devin Neal and Savion Williams locked in at RB and WR. i need to fill out 4 more slots. At least one must be RB and at least one WR. Here are my options.

Kye Robichaux (RB, vs UNC) - leaning toward him, a lot of carries the past 2 games

Nate Frazier (RB, vs UMass) - leaning toward him, should have good game even if doesn't start

Jerimayah Love (RB, vs Army) - worried about Army eating clock and Reilly vulturing TDs

Tre Wisner (RB, vs Ky) - probably sit him

Andrew Armstrong (WR, vs La Tech) - leaning toward him, should get targets

Dymere Miller (WR, vs Illinois) - leaning toward him, should get targets

Pick 1 QB

G Greene v UCF
C Klubnik v Cit
L Sellers v Wof

Probably between Greene and Klubnik. Sellers has been on a heater so he's interesting in a matchup they should stat pad in. Let me know who you'd pick this week!

Waiver Wire QB

I want to pick up a QB on the waiver wire for this week. I am leaning toward Garrett Greene (vs UCF). My second choice is Jayden Maiava (@ UCLA). Is that how you would rank them.

Defense Dilemma

I’m at my wits end trying to figure out which defense to go with this week.

Currently I have Alabama’s Defense at home vs FCS opponent Mercer. They are 9-1 but it’s a FCS 9-1

The other defenses I am debating about taking is Kentucky and Texas A&M.

Kentucky is playing Murray State. They are 1-9 and one of the worst teams in the FCS. They got blown out opening week by Missouri.

Texas A&M is playing New Mexico State. They are 2-7 and one of the worst teams in division 1.

All of these games are home games for the SEC teams.

Sacks are worth 1 point and takeaways are worth 3 points in this league. Shutouts are huge as well. 0 points allowed nets 20 fantasy points.

Please someone help me. I keep going back and forth.

QBs - Pick 2

Hey folks,

I mentioned this in my last post, but I have Dampier and Veltkamp in my lineup, and am making a move to pick up Houser. The following QBs are available on the waiver wire and have really nice matchups:

Barnett Schager Hajj-Williams Shough Becht Salter

If you had to pick any 2 of those to start, who would you go with? If I land Houser, I’m going to start him for sure. Dampier vs Washington State scares me. Hajj-Williams has scored over 30 pts in our league each of the last 5 weeks and gets San Diego State this time around. I’m thinking I should go with Houser and Hajj-Williams, but Veltkamp has also been solid, minus a few turnovers. What direct would you lean?

Thanks!

Playoff Roster Advice

Hey all,

In my league’s playoffs as the 2 seed, squaring off against the 7th seed. Having some issues with injuries so I wanted to get some feedback on a couple of roster moves.

For reference, our league is 1 PPR, starts 2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 flex, 1 K and 1 DST.

I have Tuten on my roster, but he’s been banged up the last few weeks. I also have Faison, who’s been solid all year but seems to be either banged up or in the doghouse, as he only had 2 carries last week. My remaining RBs are Morrow, Hardy, Allen and Stewart. Allen and Stewart are must-plays, but I don’t know how I feel about Morrow and Hardy. As good as he’s been, Hardy has a rough matchup this week against Auburn - ULM will probably end up down big early and have to resort to throwing the ball to catch up. Morrow has been relatively solid all year, but also had 2 “meh” games in his last 3 (9 and 12 points, by our league’s scoring). So, not sure if I trust him (though he has a solid matchup against Wyoming this week). I’ve made 2 waiver claims to shore up my RB position, dropping Georgia Stats WR Ted Hurst for Eli Sanders and dropping Faison for Raheim Sanders.

What do you think of those moves? Do they strengthen my RB corps?

I’m also looking to drop Tawee Walker and pick up Katin Houser, and drop Justin Holy for Gunnar Helm. That would leave me with the following roster:

Starters: QB - K. Houser QB - C. Veltkamp RB - E. Sanders RB - R. Sanders WR - N. Nash WR - J. Brooks WR - T. Felton TE - G. Helm RW - L. Allen RW - T. Stewart K - K. Almendares DST - Ohio State

Bench: D. Dampier A. Morrow E. Rivers S. Williams (bye) B. Tuten H. Willis Tennessee

Should I maybe grab another QB to replace Veltkamp? LT isn’t great but have a decent pass D. Also, should I get Rivers into my lineup, maybe in place of Felton?

Any feedback helps. I would love to grab a ‘chip this year.

Thanks y’all!

Playoff Decisions

I need to decide what to do about QB and TE this week.
I have Cade Klubnik (@ Pitt) or Sawyer Robertson (@ WVU). I’m wondering if Baylor might go more run heavy like they did their last game. Robertson only had 12 fantasy points that game.

For TE, I have Jack Endries (vs Syr). But, I’m worried that Dyches will cut into his production. I could pick up Terrence Ferguson (@ Wis). If Tez Johnson remains out then he should see more targets.

Flex Start

Need a win to secure playoffs this week; currently have Kelley Joiner (RB, USF), but they are playing Navy so I imagine his opportunities might be really limited. I have Jordan Watkins and Germie Bernard on the bench - I like Watkins especially if Harris is out, and I think LSU-Bama could be a shootout, but I always prioritise RBs over WRs just because of opportunity. Which way would you go?

I also have Jacolby George (WR, Miami), Roman Hemby (RB, Maryland), and Jaheim White (RB, WVU) but I don't like their spots as much.

Pick 1 Flex

Trying to decide between Corey Kiner (vs WVU), Malachi Fields (@ Pitt), and Antonio Williams (@ Va Tech). Right now, I'm leaning towards Kiner. But, he's only scored 2 TDs all year. Fields only gets 3 or 4 receptions per game (except he had 9 and 11 reception games). But, Pitt's pass defense is pretty bad. But, I tend not to trust UVA players. Williams is not a high volume receiver either. But, he tends to do okay.

They all seem to have similar floors. But, who is most likely to have a big game. Thanks.
