She's a 1964 GM PD4601, fully converted sometime in the 60s or 70s and then renovated in the 80s or 90s. We live in her full time. Fully self-contained and powered by a two-stroke Detroit Diesel 8v71 with the sideways mounted Allison automatic transmission. Purrs like a kitten, drives like a dream.

Ok I need to know... Been travelling around South America for a few weeks and see these on busses and trucks everywhere. What do they do? Thought it might be something to do with air pressure or dust blow off or even some kind of dynamo. Can someone explain??
If I am traveling and using the Greyhound Bus, do I need an ID if I’m paying for a ticket in cash?
Note: Bus 548 is one of the first batch of THACO New BlueSky mounted on a Volvo B8R chassis (Powered by Volvo D8C). By the time this photo was taken, there are additional THACO New BlueSky units (as well as their THACO MobiHome Limousine units for their additional Royal Class units) painted in the same dark indigo livery that they also acquired.
