So my rabbit makes huge messes. She pulls out her hay and scatters it, then when it's on the floor she stops using her litter box, then I tried blocking areas off, didn't work, she just sits on her hay then uses the hay as a litter box, I saw this one person who did half and half for their bunnies litter, half litter half hay, so I tried that, and it's working pretty well, but I'm worried she might be eating hay that she's peeing on. So what can I do to make sure she keeps using the litter box and is also staying healthy?
My favourite part of the day is curling up on the couch and petting her sweet little face
He’s fine btw
Hello!
My fiance and I have been in a pretty crappy living situation and we finally decided we should leave. We found a beautiful complex that we love and are touring tomorrow. We have not yet asked them about this, but we have 1 cat, 1 bunny, and 3 turtles. The bunny is always in her own playpen space and is not free-roam. The turtles live in an enclosure as well (aquariums) never leaving their areas. The apartment allows up to 2 pets it states on the website (I am assuming cats/dogs), but I am worried that they will completely reject the idea of a caged bunny. As far as the turtles, I plan on telling them I have "aquariums/fish." Any recommendations from those who have been in situations like this and any tips on selling the idea of a bunny to a landlord? Hoping for the best because we need this move!
God bless.
This is not my bunny but his name is Toby he is neutered and he is incredibly aggressive he will charge and bite kick Etc don't know what to do about it, he's mad in the picture because I touched him
Caught a good shot of my Mac today. Think he's part koi - all those whiskers! 🥰
Hey bunny community!!! I am/ have always been obsessed with bunnies and do plan on getting one in the future. What are some things you wish you knew before adopting?? What is the best breed for a first timer?? Right now I am thinking a holland lop but am open to other breeds! And some good tips for a fellow bunny lover. How expensive are they to maintain a happy lifestyle? Also just want to be a part of the bunny community until I am able to pull the trigger on being a bunny mummy💗
One of my cats gave birth to two kittens on September 29th... I'm planning on giving the kittens away to the ASPCA in a week or two, I have a lot of cats already and cannot afford to take care of two more cats.. My bunny she is about 7 and she has grown super attached to the kittens.. She is not like this with any of the other cats.. She will sleep right next to the kittens.. The kittens play, fight, and roll on top of her and she loves it... She walks right up to the kittens and nudges her head under them and they lick her.. I am worried on how she will react when they're gone.. Please let me know if you have any insight, thank you..
I have 2 bunnies, a m and f. The f is starting to lick the eyes of the m bunny. I read on a website that it is a grooming/submissive interaction. Both are fixed. Anyone have experienced this with their bunnies or can tell me what this means. Last thing I want is my m bunny to get an eye infection because of the licking. Thank you
Hi, I’m a new bunny owner. I adopted my bunny from a girl who was off to university and couldn’t take care of him. I recently noticed this patch on him where he has little to no hair, and some sort of dandruff? I’m not sure if it’s stress due to the move (we got him in August) but I don’t think it would show up this late. Sorry if the picture is gross or something I don’t know how to tag it 😓
I have 2 bunnies, bonded, a m and f. The f has been licking my m bunnies' eye. I read on a website it is a show of submission, but is it something else. I don't want my m bunny to get an eye infection. Is this normal? Anyone had this experience? Both are neutered. Thanks
This is my darling amazing foster girl Fauna. Like seriously isn’t she the most precious photogenic girl ever? I can’t believe she hasn’t been adopted. She’s available for adoption through Friends of Unwanted Rabbits in Northern California! Also she just looks so cute on my bed!
This darling foster girl has been so much fun to foster! Fauna is super sweet and adoptable through Friends of Unwanted Rabbits in Northern California! Also loving how cute she looks on my bed!
Hi everyone! This is my sweet boy Salem :) I’m just starting to get into Reddit, I really love seeing everyone’s buns & being part of this community. I hate to be that person, but I’m in a bit of a bad spot financially due to health reasons & no longer have savings built up to have him neutered. He’s my best friend & my biggest priority, I want to make sure I can meet all his needs but it’s been a rough couple of months & I’m doing my absolute best for him. We appreciate any support, even if just sharing this link or sharing kind words. It’s very difficult for me to ask for help, but his needs are greater than the embarrassment I feel asking for help. I hope you all understand and respond with kindness 🖤

so, on days where i’m not at college i take my cookie upstairs to sleep on my bed for a few hours. i have a couple bunny teddies that she likes to lick sometimes. my room has changed, and now my teddies are all under my bed except for this one. we had another bunny she was bonded with called oreo, who looks a LOT like this teddy. she died when she was 7, two years ago. she loves to give the teddy a lick. a massive wash, she will literally go over the entire thing and lick it. is she bonded with it? is this okay? i’m scared it upsets her that it doesn’t groom her back :(

My rabbit has started to make this noise today when he is eating or moving around a lot. It sounds to me like he is struggling breathing but I’m not sure. He is still eating, drinking, and willing to move about. And will be 4 years old in January. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can someone who has raised fresh baby bunnies please help me? The mom started jumping on the babies and we really don’t want any of them to die. We are new to having pet bunnies and one baby has passed away and we are so scared to lose another
This bunny has been out for about 2 weeks or so, I know who his people are. I text them the other day and they basically responded with " it's fine" it's below freezing, it's been in my backyard and under my house. A stray cat tried to kill it, I am getting no response now. Will it die if left out like this? What do I do if I catch it? How do i catch it?
