I mailed a package back in August, and unfortunately, it still hasn’t reached its intended destination in the USA. After waiting for an extended period, I decided to return to the post office in hopes of finding out what went wrong. When I arrived, I approached the staff and asked if they could help me track the package down using my identification and name. However, they informed me that without the tracking number, they wouldn’t be able to assist me further. The issue lies in the fact that the tracking number was printed on a receipt, and over time, the text on that receipt has faded significantly, making it completely illegible. Frustrated, I listened as they explained that, due to the lack of a tracking number, they were unable to locate my package. Now, I’m left wondering what options I have to resolve this situation.

Valaki tud jó hűtőautó bérlő helyet Budapesten? Hosszú útra bérelnék 3.5 tonnás mélyhűtős kisteheratót, -18 Celsius fokig kellene fagyasszon és modern legyen, ne 10-20 éves furgon, hogy külföldön félúton lerobbanjon. Valamilyen tapasztalatok cégekkel?

Esetleg tudtok mondani olyan szórakozóhelyeket/kocsmákat, ahol le lehet foglalni külön szobákat mondjuk egy szülinapos eseményre? Olyan 15-20 emberről lenne szó maximum és szeretnénk kicsit elvonultabban bulizni de mégis egy szórakozóhelyen/báron/kocsmán belül :) az plusz ha esetleg saját zenét is le lehetne játszani a szobán belül. Az ideális persze az, ha magáért a foglalásért nem kell fizetni de jöhet akár fizetős javaslat, bármit meghallgatok :D

As an erasmus student I'm thinking of renting a small 20-30m² studio flat in the VII district (so older houses) from Feb until Jan. What could I expect to pay on average on utilities and other overhead fees? I know it's impossible to tell the exact number and it will vary in winter vs spring, but I'd like to know if it's closer to 40k, 80k or 100k?

I'll be living alone, being mindful, nothing crazy in terms of the amount of usage.

In 2001/2002-ish I was in your amazing and vibrant city, on your beautiful bridges, seeing your spectacular sites, and drinking Unicum in bars while playing a lot of table soccer. I've always remembered Budapest so fondly.

The location request is for a new year's eve party I attended that I seem to recall may have been under the castle or nearby. I could be wrong on that, but it was very much in the central city. Regardless, it was a rave-like scene held in a series of (literal) underground tunnels with lights and dancing and DJs throughout what seemed like a labyrinth. It was smokey and boozy and a really awesome party.

I distinctly remember hearing twice that night that this party was the last to be held in this long-used and very old system of underground tunnels and/or catacombs. Do you know where this was? Thank you.

My partner and I were renting a holiday apartment in Kertesz street while in Budapest, we were a bit flabbergasted one day when we saw people throwing their belongings such as clothes, furniture, appliances and what have you not on the street/pathways. We were wondering the reason behind this, as it only seemed to happen on our street and no where else…possible kerb collection? One of the main reason I am asking is also because people were throwing away glass objects that would obviously break and make a dangerous mess on the street - think children, dogs and car tyres.

By any chance. Is it still able to access this power plant in 2024? I know that a tour company used to offer walks there but these have been since cancelled. Thanks in advance

hi everyone! my bf will be visiting me in Budapest in december and he loves French culture, has lived there etc. I'm looking for authentically French bars, bakeries or not super expensive restaurants or anything that has a nice French atmosphere. I've read some recommendations on the internet, but it's hard to decide which places are just lame tourist traps and which ones are actually worth visiting. we've visited and loved French Institute, the bookshop was a big big plus! thank you in advance!

• What ice rinks do you recommend?
• Are Christmas markets overpriced (like in Croatia)?
• Is it (usually) unbearably crowded that week compared to September for example?
