When I was 13 years old (I'm 20 now), I had a boyfriend. Our relationship couldn't work out as we wanted because I had to move to a different city for a long time (2 years).

We had a friend, who was my best friend at that time, and she told me she was interested in satanic things and witchcraft. To make the story shorter, this girl (supposedly) did a binding spell on us. The idea was that the spell was only for him, but here's my question.

I became OBSESSED with this guy, and it was really insane how much I loved him (when I moved to the city). We couldn’t see each other anymore, and he started to distance himself from me emotionally during that time.

Then, I came back to my city when we were 15 and 17. He knew I was back, but he started a relationship. I resigned myself to forget about him. It felt like something that would never happen, and I needed to move on with my life without clinging to this boy anymore.

And that’s what happened. I even started a relationship too, and I didn’t have any issues with this boy anymore. (I mean, he wasn’t on my mind. I didn’t care about him anymore. I managed to move on perfectly.)

Our relationships lasted around 2 years. So, about 2 years later (when I was 18 and he was 20), he contacted me. He wanted to start dating me again. I agreed, but I didn’t have high expectations. I thought it wouldn’t be the same (I mean, we were boyfriend and girlfriend literally 7 years ago; it’s a long time). I was wrong because we had a really great connection again... For several reasons, we didn’t decide to have a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. I feel like some things just didn’t work out, but the chemistry between us was undeniable. We dated for about 7 months. (Just to clarify, we didn’t have anything serious.)

I decided to end the relationship because I started getting to know another guy (my current boyfriend).

I’m really happy with my boyfriend. I truly love him, and we’ve been dating for 1 year. But a few months ago, I suddenly started remembering my ex-boyfriend a lot, as if I really missed him. But it didn’t make sense because I broke up with him MYSELF. I consciously decided to stop dating him.

I talked about this feeling with my psychologist because I felt like I was being unfaithful in my mind. He reassured me, told me it’s normal, and advised me not to blame myself for these feelings. He also suggested I write a letter (just for myself) about this guy.

Because of a problem I had with my boyfriend, I decided to delete guys I used to date from social media, including this guy. But now, his friends appear a lot in my Facebook recommendations, which never happened before. I even dream about him (not romantic dreams, just he appears in them).

I really don’t have romantic feelings for this ex-boyfriend. I truly love my current boyfriend, but this guy keeps appearing intrusively in my mind.

Maybe it sounds dumb, but I feel like there’s some kind of connection between us. It’s as if we can’t disconnect. If I don’t reach out, he reaches out to me. If we don’t search for each other, I still get messages indirectly. We’ve had this dynamic for almost 8 years now.

And I don’t know if this situation is related to the supposed binding spell that this girl did. I understand that a binding spell affects both people.I've even thought about going to get my tarot cards read to ask about this situation.

probably coming from ignorance so i hope someone who knows about this can answer me. are "encantos" and "amarres" the same? for example if i write someone's name 7 times, add sugar and cinnamon and then burn it, is that a thing? and if it is, is it considered an "amarre"? i don't really want to mess around and end up with a bad situation. someone who's really into this stuff told me it was a thing and "not bad" but i need more opinions

Original person (ex) that was harassing me stopped. But now I’m thinking it’s someone related (or her again I am not sure) that is continuing to harass me but I’m not sure who exactly. It started with fake accounts and messages to my social media (bullying about weight and other random things), phone calls from fake numbers (on no caller ID), to straight up sending unpaid food deliveries to my house and someone flipping my decorations in front of my house (like trying to find a key or something to get in.)

Has me at the point where I’m now paranoid about any unusual things around my neighborhood when I shouldn’t be. My neighborhood is relatively safe. Is there anyway I can do a freeze spell or ANYTHING to stop whoever is bothering me in their tracks?

Me and my fiancé moved to Ecuador almost two years ago and since we moved here, nothing good has happened, no good jobs, scams, a lot of money wasted, bad things happened like our previous apartment caught fire, my fiancé got robbed, etc. A few years before this, we went to a curandero (shaman) for something else (can’t remember now) and he told us that my fiancé’s mother did something to us and he broke the spell. This is my first post and I’m new to the community. Very excited to have found this subreddit! My story goes as follows…the other day my mom was switching out our door wreath which hangs on the outside of our front door. As she was getting the wreath down a lime fell out of it. The lime was cut in half but not all the way and it was burnt on the inside. At first we thought it was maybe left there by a squirrel but when we noticed that it was burnt and perfectly cut we knew that wasn’t the case. Does anyone have any idea of what this could be?
