Welcome. This is the place for bros, blokes, fellas, dudes and lads to chat about the dark arts of plain, purl and all things between. If you’re just starting out, been around the needles for a while or a Fair-isle supreme guru master, then this is the place for you. Questions, advice, showing off and general knitting banter are all welcome. Grab yourself beer, a ball of your favourite super fine merino and some 2.5mm DPNs and we’ll have a pair of socks together in no time!

Inspired by the piece worn by Kevin Costner in the History channel 3 part miniseries Hatfield's & McCoy's Worked with Lion Brand, Pound of Love, Claret. US6/4mm needles
Loving the colour combinations for my new socks! Yarn is 'Jawoll' from Lang Yarns.
It’s a Dottie baby blanket using lion brand color theory yarn in tourmaline.
I just recently checked Meetup for a local Stitch and Bitch and there weren’t any but there were numerous virtual meetup knitting group….all women. How many of you male knitters would be interested in a males knitting group on meetup or WhatsApp that would meet possibly weekly virtually?
I (47m) recently started loom knitting, got tired of the wife having all the fun with crochet and always having a project. So I picked up some looms and have been having a blast with it. Just looking for a place that was welcoming to more masculine crafters. Not saying that the other subreddits/groups are not welcoming, just some times it is nice to have a place to talk with others who are into a craft that is not "gender normative"
This short post is dedicated to my best bro out there who has helped me through many of the tough periods I have faced thus far in life. I am truly grateful and very glad to have met you and together, we were idiots HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA, doing absurd things that built great memories. Hopefully it is not the case that best friends and bros are treated with a sense of inherent deservingness, they aren't. They are rather, earned through time effort, squabbles and dissatisfaction. The ability to overcome these differences are something that are inherently priceless. Ready to lend a helping hand, he has pulled me out of a painful breakup, pulled me out of a rut, by simply being present. I am not sure how many of you out there have bros and great buddies like that, but do show your bros and besties some love. Let the knowledge that they will be there for you when you need them comfort you. When you are lost in the woods they will be there with you to navigate through the rough terrains, because even if they are lost with you, you will create awesome memories with them through your frienship. Just because you guys are guys does not mean you can't show each other some form of care and concern ( I doubt girls are less likely to be indifferent or show less care so this is to bros out there). They have been through thick and thin with you, and so have you. Never let such friendships go to waste. Cya soon bro! Thanks for helping me through the bumpy terrains in my life, especially recently.

Hey all. How we all doing?? What we working on?? Ive Just finished ripping out a project cos I realised I started off on the wrong foot. Litterally! I love knitting socks, a lot! Just ripped out sock for the 2nd time. Got myself in an awful muddle with a "stretchy " bind off" so decided to switch the 2.25 needles to a 5mm and start a new sweater project. Pictures on their way! So come on guys. Let's get this going again. What you got on the needles????
