Anyone know why the Gordon Biersch is closed at flatirons?
Hi!
My wife is looking for a desk job that pays around 20$ an hour. She has experience in Software Support and currently works as a Tutor.
It’s very difficult to get any software job.
Any leads are much appreciated!
Hola, I’m graduating in May with a BS in computer science and plan to move to Broomfield area soon. I’m going right into my master’s degree online. I’ll have to work full time. Are there many jobs in tech allowing remote work? Can anyone share companies I could look at? TIA
You guys know those little wooden bears you find in the mountains n shit ? My girl LOVES those and I want to get her one for Christmas. Does anyone have any suggestions of a local place that makes and or sells those ? I’d prefer to support local if possible thanks for any help!
Anyone know of a quick car detailing service up near northern I-25 by 136th? It's for my F150. Preferably just a quick detail less than $75, not a fully intensive detail costing $300+
We currently live at Grant Row Lofts and are looking to move out once our lease ends in July '25. It's just not our vibe for an apartment. Too far to get to our vehicle and pretty expensive considering the lack of amenities.
We're looking into Arbour Commons. Anyone live there?
Also open to other recommendations.
I want to stay relatively close to the school for my wife to take our kid there, but I also want to be relatively close to I-25 since I commute south of Denver.
Currently paying $2450/mo after fees but would prefer something cheaper than that for a 2bed/2bath.
Hello community.
Question here: looking forward to moving to Colorado next year to work at a Power Utility company. Really investing a lot of time reading and investigating about pretty much everything to make the change as smoother as it gets.
Few topics to query and discuss:
-Housing.
-Cost, already read few websites and blogs about taxes and other direct costs.
-Schools.
-Transportation.
-Primary services.
In summary, I pursue to hear all info you can share; how is it like in terms of a family of four coming from a 3rd world country to move and Work as a professionals in either Louisville, Boulder, Broomfield or maybe Thornton.
Any advise or refrence to a previous post, if already created, is a plus.
i have a bachelors degree and a couple years of experience working in accounting. if anyone knows any places hiring or suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
I just recently bought a necklace, a commission piece, but the chain is far too short.
Where would you recommend as a good affordable yet reliable place to get a new chain for my necklace?
Anyone know the best place to go get a 20lb propane tank refilled? I know some of the U-haul places do it but after reading reviews it seems their pricing is steep.
Trying to determine what all the options are. Thanks in advance!
Looking for a burrito place where it’s delicious, big portions, and will make me go to the toilet once I’m done but not regretting it. Something other than Chipotle.
Ive seen Renegade Burritos but the burritos look small. Just want a place to give me a nice meaty cheesy hot burrito 😢
Edit: Thanks for the recs! Will check them out
Couple boxes of crayons, color pencils, candle making kit and some yarn.
I’m looking for meal prep delivery or pickup in the area! Any recommendations?
I previously used Clean Eatz when I lived in Colorado Springs.
Anyone regularly use the fitness studios outside of classes? I'm looking for somewhere with bags I can use for kickboxing but I'm not interested in taking group classes. I was told the studios can be used as long as there isn't a class or trainer using the studio. Classes I can plan around obviously but I was wondering if anyone knew how frequently the studios might be occupied by trainers for other reasons. Also, are they left open when not in use or would I need to ask for them to be unlocked? And finally, are they typically busy when the rest of the gym is busy or do I have a good chance of getting my own bag most of the time?
(I was also told there's a single bag available at the Paul derda center lol, I figured a studio with 6 bags gave me better odds of getting my workout in but if anyone has experience using the bag at that location I'd love to know!)
Hello! I was wondering if you can list your top 4 schools in Adam's 12. I would like to take time to tour those schools, I heard Stemlab is good and Studio school but can you recommend any others ?
Hi, I am recently separated and the last 6 years I stayed home with the kids. So, I was wondering if there is any good place in broomfield and surrounding to meet new people, mostly for friendship since I am not ready for relationship. Thanks.
Hey y'all! We are very close to moving from TX to CO and Broomfield is our favorite spot so far. We have four daughters and we want to try to make this move as seamless we possibly can for them. Our 9-year-old plays softball and we are trying to find out any info on youth softball leagues in the area. She's been playing for three years and is on a pretty good rec team that's about to turn into a select/tournament team. Does anyone have any info about some teams or leagues we could look into in the area? TIA!
I’m new to the Baseline community and wondering if there is a group/facebook page to connect with neighbors?
My favorite part of my house is the sunset views from our back patio 😍 unedited from 11/22
Hi, just moved here and bought a car. As title suggests, looking for reputable auto insurance brokers! Any recommendations?
What's the best area in Broomfield to buy a house? I am a single male, 28? I'm just looking for something that will appreciate in value and is also safe and pretty easily accessible.
I moved here to CO last December, so this is my first Thanksgiving here.
My entire family is back home, and I’ve yet to really make any steady friendships. I have coworkers and people I kinda know but no one solid enough to where I can be invited to Thanksgiving.
And I have roommates but one of them is going to his family’s (who I’ve never met), and the other is working that night.
I really want a hot plate of Thanksgiving food and fixings on Thursday. Is there anywhere I can go?
The website speaks for itself. Gross and inciteful propaganda. What department do I report this to?
Has anybody experienced Uber drivers that refused to take 470 to drive you to the airport from Broomfield?
Had it happen to me today. Actually sitting in the Uber right now. He refused to take 470 saying it would cost him $18 and if he didn’t pay within 24 hours it would then be $36. It added 42 min to the ETA. I told him it usually costs me under $5 and it was not ideal to almost 3x my ETA and he just said “sorry!”
Have yall run into this? Is there a way to guarantee they take 470? I even told him I’d tip him the $5…that’s when he started going off about it being $18. Ugh.
EDIT: did the toll calculator on the e-470 website. 120th ave to Peña states that the License plate toll = $4.60 and the express toll = $2.90. So yeah it’s under $5 if I’m understanding that correctly!!
Gov. Jared Polis on Tuesday said the state needs to massively and quickly expand public transit service and make it easier for Coloradans to walk and ride their bicycles to drastically reduce its reliance on cars and slash climate emissions.
“This saves people money, reduces traffic and cuts pollution,” Polis said at a press conference where he was flanked by legislative and environmental advocacy allies. “Today, too many Coloradans simply don't have a safe, convenient alternative to driving for daily tasks, whether it's getting to work or going to the grocery store.”

Hi Hi! My wife and I are moving to Colorado at the end of December and are hunting for apartments! We have heard everyone's love for Retreat at the Flatirons and are interested in it for sure. However, we came across Summit at the Flatirons and saw that for the same price we can get a two bedroom and quality seems pretty much the same.
So here i am, asking for feedback on Summit at the Flatirons! We have read about the dreaded fire alarms there, apparently they happen multiple times a week? How long does the alarm actually stay on for?
Also, any other places you recommend pleaseee we are so overwhelmed :<
Where can I find some good breakfast burritos in the Broomfield or surrounding areas? Looking to try out more places this year.
