2 years of gym and eating
Left my toxic ex-wife and started Intermittent Fasting during Covid and dropped down to 160 within 18 months but skinny fat. Started strength training in 2021 and lifting heavy in 2022.
Typically a 4 day upper/lower split. No cardio other than trying to get 10K steps/day. Eating clean but still enjoy donuts and cookies here and there.
Yes I got a hair transplant, laser hair removal, and a rhinoplasty. Seeing muscle motivated me to look and feel my very best.
Met the woman of my dreams last year and plan to propose by the end of this year. Cheers
So story time. I started at 400 lbs about 3 or 4 years ago, decided it was time to lose weight. Lost weight through extreme calorie deficit and cardio down to 138 lbs. Decided I looked like a fragile twig (well, with heavy input from my wife lol) and bulked back up to 230.
The left side is from when I was on the way down from 400 lbs, the right is a couple of days ago. I just started working weight lifting back in about 4 months ago. Wish I'd taken a pic at the start of that!
Started to become happy with my progress, so I thought I’d share as this sub was a big part of my motivation at the beginning. Started in my apartment gym in July and just got a membership at a real gym as I couldn’t progress in there anymore. Loving the process.
