If at some point the new songs get released do you think it’ll be as a solo Jesse project or full band release?

My favorite part about this whole show and videos is no one has posted the new music.

That screams volumes to me about the fan base. Good job people who were there and didn’t leak the new music and for respecting Jesse’s wish. We’re totally back.

I was gonna wait to get this, but I saw they were only doing a pressing of 3,000 and I didn't want to take the chance they'd sell out, especially with all the excitement regarding Jesses show. So I took an advance out of my next paycheck lol. The 7" of Fork & Knife and Luca (Reprisal) took me over the edge.

What tuning is he playing in? He’s got a capo on 3 and from the sounds of degausser it sounds like he’s playing in the same key as the record.

Is his acoustic really tuned down a step and half?

So with all this talk about the band possibly reuniting do you think they will release more songs and perhaps another album? I live in NZ so will never have the chance to see them live (if they did indeed start playing again) so I'm holding out for new music 🤞

Day 3 of my Daisy by Brand New illustration journey focuses on the song "Bed." This piece draws from the lyric, “I don’t know what you feel like / Ambushed on the road, stole your gold / You’re a rose and you’re laughing now.”

The design reflects a playful yet bittersweet contrast—a rose in full bloom, vibrant and defiant, laughing through whatever it’s endured. The simplicity of the composition is a nod to the aesthetic of vintage risograph prints and old-school tattoo designs, with textures enhanced by brushes from Retro Supply Co.

This series is a visual exploration of the raw emotions and layered meanings within Daisy, using bold colors, minimalistic elements, and an appreciation for nostalgic design techniques.

His newest video has him taking a tour inside the awesome Cambridge Audio headquarters, where they have a room full of their employee’s favorite vinyl. Clearly someone there has great taste! Always fun to see their music pop up in the wild. Enjoy!

I was younger and naive when all the allegations and shit came out, has anything else ever come of them since Jesse’s apology ? I’m just curious and also want to have respect and be educated properly on what exactly went down... After some research it’s crazy to reread everything that happened. I guess i’m just wondering if something came to light that made the scenario a little better over time or if enough time has just passed that people want BN back enough to forget about everything and move on

It feels like i’m in a fever dream listening to this acoustic set, it’s amazing to see the turnout but I am also very surprised in this “cancel culture” filled world

It was listed as Aloc Acoc on the cd sleeve because of copyright issues, but Jesse himself has called the song coca cola outloud, it's what's been written on setlists, and I'm pretty sure it's what's on the cd track info when you put it on a computer.

No clue why it bothers me so much but man has it been annoying seeing people call it aloc acoc so much.

Only just got into Brand New last semester and want to say that this is one of the best fanbases. The flood of posts from Jesse’s show today is so enthusiastically invigorating and supportive. Lots of subreddits lose their steam after a band stops being active but you guys have the same energy as if they were touring right now. There’s no bitter messages on posts. When I posted I got my first vinyl (Daisy) all the messages gave me the vibe of seeing your kid hit their first home run. I can only imagine what their shows were like and can only hope that they tour again sometime because I bet that the vibe of those shows would feel like a family reunion. Anyways, good job and good shit everyone. I’m glad I found this band and now also have Devil/God+Science Fiction on vinyl now too.

I absolutely love how this reddit community is over the moon with JL's performance yesterday. There's a lightness in the (virtual) air and it's amazing how music really brings out the best in people.

I read a comment earlier today or yesterday, I'm ashamed I forgot who posted it, but they said that you know you love a band when it makes you happy seeing them happy. I couldn't agree more.

I don't know what the future holds for Brand New, but I am excited. I hope we all enjoy the ride.

Seems like people are still not over past events with Jesse. I think on this sub there is a huge push for a brand new reunion. However looking at the comments on this video, I’m wondering how others would react to it. (Just to add I am all in favour for a reunion.)
