Given all the reports about damage in North Carolina and Tennessee, what are the chances of similar harm occurring in Bradenton and the surrounding areas? Are people concerned about the next hurricane approaching?

I am flying to town for a friend's wedding the 8th and I have a couple extra days that I was planning to spend fishing or spend on the beach but now it seems like that time would be better spent helping with the storm recovery efforts instead. Are there any good places or organizations that you would recommend where I could volunteer with storm cleanup?

My son is planning to get married on 11/7 @ The Sandbar. The venue folks are telling him that they will be open and it will be accessible. I just thought I would ask here to see if this is likely, or they are just telling him what he wants to hear.

While I have your attention, I'm also looking for a restaurant to host a rehearsal dinner on 11/6 for about 20 people. Private room preferred. I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Sooo I’ve been a longtime sufferer of monthly cycle cramps since I was 12 years old and it’s bad enough to the point where I’ve had to call off work every month because of it. I’d like to not hop on BC as that causes other issues. And my TV ultrasound came back normal and taking 1100mcg of Ibuprofen doesn’t even work that long nor isn’t healthy for my liver

When I lived in a legal and recreational Arizona, I had a hybrid THC/CBD vape pen but as I live in FL now, I can’t afford to pay for a monthly medicinal card and I’m sure monthly cramps wouldn’t even qualify me for one.

The Spirit website originally said the Bradenton store was "Opening August" then changed to "Opening Soon", now says "Opening October". They have a location, the former Tuesday Morning on Cortez, but they are still closed. Any idea if/when it's opening? It barely even seems worth it at this point.

Have you ever wanted to have a painting of your partner, a family portrait, your dog or whatever your favorite photo is? I always loved the idea of painting but unfortunately I'm not the best at it. My son just got out of jail. His wife is divorcing him and he can’t afford an attorney with a large retainer. Anyone know of an attorney that would be willing to work on his case and be willing accept a payment plan or be paid after settlement. She will owe him alimony and he is on disability. We have trip scheduled for Bradenton on 11/01 weekend. Our Airbnb has been communicating with us but they have not cancelled our booking. Do you think we have a shot at going to Bradenton or should we cancel?

Backed up past 59th. If you have no reason to be out on the islands, please don’t head that way. Beaches will be closed to the public for a month or longer. Let the workers and residents get to where they need to be so the island can rebuild. The traffic is crazy.

Hello all. Young couple here both 23-24 age range. Was considering moving into Lakewood Ranch. I am big on suburban living and love the peace, quiet, and tranquility Lakewood Ranch advertises. We both make good money and are NOT interested in nightlife whatsoever, but we do enjoy fine dining, laidback activities, nice malls, designed shops, etc. and want to be as FAR away from college kids and teens as possible. We love wine tastings, luxury shopping, etc. is Lakewood ranch a good candidate for our lifestyle? Any thoughts or opinions, maybe something I’ve overlooked?

BTW I’m huge into cars so having the Freedom Factory nearby is a big plus.
