I cannot seem to find a steady balance between hydrated and over hydrated for this boy. If the water bucket is down, he's drinking it. If he drinks too much the next day is usually when he'll have trouble peeing all of it when he goes out. Our three other Goldens and GSD don't drink nearly as much water and one of them is a nearly 100 pounds. Our boxer is only 85 max. Right now we just take the bucket up and down but I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue or similar? Vet says he's healthy and everything looks good. Am I over timing it all? I don't feel letting him drink to his content is the right choice bc they're will never be water for others and he will pee everywhere inside.

Does anyone feed this brand to your boxer? Years ago my breeder had my dog on it but it’s exclusively sold at tractor supply. All I know is it has the same parent company as Blue Buffalo.
