The only way I have been able to defeat Lynels is with an ancient arrow. (Which is fine but they don’t drop any loot that way) I have successfully defeated waterblight ganon, windblight ganon, and thunderblight ganon (haven’t gotten to the last divine beast yet) but for the life of me I can’t beat a lynel.
I’ve read other threads with tips on flurry rushing and parrying. I must be doing something wrong 🥲 admittedly, I’m not the best at combat but you would think these mini bosses would be harder to beat that an enemy you randomly come across in the game. Anyone else??
i’ve been playing zelda for a little bit now and have progressed to the point where i’m able to find and defeat the 4 beasts, i’ve been taking my time exploring before defeating any and have almost unlocked the whole map and have got some along the way, i have the complete stealth set almost all upgraded twice, a lot of guardian weapons that range from 40-60 damage, no upgraded hearts as i have meals to give me extra hearts and am one more upgrade away from a full second stamina wheel, as someone mentioned to me earlier about the boss health upscaling as you defeat each one i thought it get what people say the hardest one out of the way first, my first question is from what i’ve mentioned am i ready for this fight, the main thing im lacking is arrows but i plan on exploring a little bit more before the fight regardless and two, is there anything i should do instead of fighting the beasts right now? if you got to the end thankyou for your time! :)
I really don’t understand why so many people hate weapon durability. There’s a million things laying around that you can use as weapons and every enemy you defeat will drop one. The only issue is the Champion weapons and Master Sword also having durability. I do admit that’s pretty dumb. But if you like a weapon so much, just grab a bunch of them? And then if you’re actually using them to kill enemies, you should initiate a Blood Moon before you run out.
I’m probably not what you’d consider a huge gamer, other than playing a few Wii/Gamecube games growing up. But after having fallen in love with BotW and playing for about a year, I finally built up the courage to take on Vah Naboris. Just beat Calamity Ganon as well, but Thunderblight is definitely the accomplishment I’m proudest of lol 😂
Just got totk after a few months of not playing botw, i kinda needed a break, this is so bad tho, the resolution is so awful and the colors are bad, my sisters ruined the thumbsticks on my switch, is an oled switch better? Wish the colors and docked resolution or is it as bad?
So I just defeated Calamity Ganon ( thought he would kick my ass but actually it was way easier than the Lynel at the castle gate). Got the bow of light.
I know there is no post-Ganon game and I can only keep on playing as normal. But why isn't the bow of light available in my inventory when I load the last save file? It only exists for this one fight?
Hi! Just started the game and beat Vah Ruta. Been rocking the upgraded hylian armor set. What armor set should I get next? Some defence boosting qualities would be nice. Not yet completely familiar with the mechanics and workings of the game.
Did Link have to be asleep for 100 years? Would the story have worked just as easily if it was only 15 years and the Sheikah characters were a bit older in the past?
I am making a custom shell for my switch lite, which one would you choose? And which shell? (Comment A or B!) thanks for your help deciding!
Already did master mode once after the release (so maybe 7 years ago?) and was feeling to try botw again after another replay of totk. I have no idea how I managed to do it in the past. The start of the game was rough but with some korok and weapon hunt I managed to finnaly make it work, yeah worked for like 1 hour, now all bokos are silver with 720 healt, I have to broke like 5 weapons to kill one and after that there are other 3 silver one. Basically since the start of the game I'm killing everything with a korok frond and water. Any fancy strat like tnt barrels, rolling stones etc aren't working because of cheap damage and insane healing. I feel kinda disappointed because I chose master to have a more combat oriented experience in a hard FronSoftwers style instead I can't fight at all because very cheap damage and durability. Honestly I didn't though that weapons are so fragile in this game. In totk the same weapon merged wirh a random horn last like 3 times more. What I have to do pls
Considering the DLC and wanted to ask about Master Mode and the trials. Are the trials only playable in Master Mode? That might make things harder but still want to clear as many shrines as possible to finish my third stamina wheel and get a bunch of hearts. Still cooking up a bunch of meals that give extra hearts, even if it's just one of each like a truffle, radish or durian.
And does the Master Sword only get stronger by using it in Master Mode? How does everyone get it to be the absolute strongest weapon? The horse, the Korok Mask, the trials but I'm sure there's something else that's another benefit from the DLC.
