Long story short, I had to go to my home state and it was so last minute that it was cheaper to drive (from Chicago to New York). The hotel room was paid for in advance. When I got here, they asked me to put a $150 hold on my card for incidentals and ended up charging me $600. I leave tomorrow morning and they said I won’t get it refunded until Wednesday at the soonest, and as late as next Monday (based on checkout time). I get paid Friday, but have to return home. Just need $80 for the gas and tolls I don’t have on me. Can pay back $100 on payday. Can also provide proof, if needed.
