I had a dream last night where there was a side quest in bl4 where you go inform a bunch of Roland's other friends that he died (because you still end up in contact with the main cast somehow and hear about him through them) where you eventually tell his mom, and you get a corrosive dahl shotgun called the fallen son. It had an alt fire where it emptied the entire mag in one shot. Does it make much sense? Not really, but I do wanna ask, do you guys have any ideas for unique or legendary gear for borderlands 4?

I just made a max rank siren and I was wondering does Amara have any crazy gun builds? I have all the DLC.

I personally wish we get heavy ballistic weapons, like a military heavy machine gun/minigun for Dahl, the type that would usually be vehicle mounted, or an actual, straight-up gatling/maxim gun for Jakobs, they also have the window for an Alien reference with an Atlas one.

Also, Vladof and Dahl shotguns, these technically existed in Borderlands 1, but let's be real, all weapon types in Borderlands 1 barely change from brand to brand, and I think Dahl shotguns could be nice, but I especially want Vladof shotguns, we already got a taste from the Sickle, and it's great, let's keep going.

I just upgraded from a PS4 to PS5 pro. I have Borderlands 3 (PS4) on disc, and the disc drive for my PS5 pro. My question is, is there any reason to purchase the PS5 version of Borderlands 3? Or should I just roll with my PS4 disc? Any advice would be appreciated!

i have a group of 4 (including me) and 2 of us are on steam , 1 on epic games and 1 on ps5, we've played the whole game up until chapter 19 , and now whenever we try and join each other it takes 3 minutes just to cancel saying connection error. we are only able to join 1 other person and the other 2 can't join. we don't know what to do , any help is appreciated

Reposting my comment from a post but I wanted to see what the community thought of this potential theory.

Wild theory me and my buddy crafted. Tyreen and Troy were both respectively blue and red, life leech and power leech powers, now that they’re dead, the thought process is that their siren powers combined in this new siren, making purple siren markings, potentially making new siren a battle healer, while Emily swan, mentioned in TPS, also has her markings glowing purple, or at least exploded with purple energy healing her, is going to be the main baddy and potentially the 7th siren. Headcannon so far is that perhaps the watcher had a hand in either giving Emily her powers, or honing her powers through out the series in the background. Following the main theme of the “bad guy” fighting for control over the vault guardians, ie. Steele with destroyer, Jack with warrior, and the calypso twins murdering multiples and combining with the destroyer, Emily could potentially have full natural control over the guardians, mythological sirens being song based, and Emily being named “Swan” as her last name, BL4 is potentially a Swan Song, a final performance, and is VERY ticked off at the calypsos specifically and the vault hunters for killing so many guardians, thus sparking a war for the vaults, FROM the vaults.

I am having difficulty getting a Dark Army from the Arms Race. Could anyone please assist me in retrieving one or, if feeling generous, provide me one, please?

Personally I would love to see more of the core infused Jakobs weapons from the Bounty for Blood DLC as well as alien barrels. I would also like to see some of the ideas from Wonderlands merge even though I thought the weapons overall in that game were somewhat lackluster.

I’m sure in time the BL4 VHs will come into their own, but I will not tolerate slander to the BL3 VHs

First of all, let’s address the obvious. This game is first person but you see your character constantly in the menus and in vehicles, as well as your character being visible in co-op. There are also cosmetics - the devs very clearly want you to care what you look like and each character (should) have a very unique identity.

Secondly this is a STORY game. Where you imagine your character IN THE STORY. How can you possibly say it doesn’t matter how the design of your character fits into the world it is written in to?

The reason BL1 and BL2 characters are so good is because they are caricatures of real life. Take BL1;

• Roland is your calm, collected, hardened soldier and natural team leader.

• Mordecai is a classic nomadic cowboy character who keeps to himself and doesn’t love much except for his loyal pet.

• Brick is a stereotypical meathead who solves his problems by physically overpowering them.

• Lilith plays the gifted, strong-minded and strong-hearted Siren who brings that cool otherworldly energy in her powers.

These are character tropes that we see over and over again in all sorts of media. The reason? They work. Aside from Lilith’s supernatural stuff, the rest of the characteristics reflect real life very well. It makes them relatable so that even though this is a fictional story on another planet, the people are not so far away from real life, albeit exaggerated. That’s what makes them good characters.

It honestly concerns me how many people are blindly defending Gearbox as if they have some sort of fantastic track-record recently (spoiler: they don’t). Admitting you will eat slop if it is served to you just allows these game studios to rake in profits whilst shafting the consumer. What’s worse is disregarding any and all criticism as just being anti-woke nonsense, which for 99% of the time is not the case.

So I’ve been playing borderlands 3 and done some missions and I heard The Watcher get brought up which is the guardian from Borderlands Pre Sequel who saved Athena at the end of the game, zarpadon, and Emily swan and I was wondering if anyone head any info on it cause he seems like he could be important for BL4

Anyone happen to know what shock splash weapon would be the best choice to nuke the entire screen with each shot on a transformer moze?

Me and my three friends just beat borderlands 2 and we all bought 3 but the game refuses to allow all 4 of us to play. It randomly lets 3 people join then the 4th will get soft locked for 3mins while it tries to connect to the game then won't. Sometimes it's my computer sometimes it's my friend... It just seems to be the 4th person to join a game is banished and then is just offline... It sucks balls... What am I missing we are all on steam and no other game gives us this problem and we play a lot of games together.

I see a lot of discussion about the new siren in these subs but no one mentioned that she looks like Ava. Maybe its just me.

I want to hear your opinion on this. Because the moment I saw the trailer I did'nt think of her as a new siren but grown Ava.

I've started recently playing again on PS5, and got the repenting first line bug from the bounty DLC (where the VH repeats the voice line from accepting a certain DLC every time you load into a map), because I can't stand to see exclamation points on the map every time I'm in Sanctuary.

So I started the DLC story and got the HUB, just to get rid of the bug, and had a few chuckles on my way to the town, mostly from the narrators insights. And that got me thinking...is there a DLC that has a disproportionate amount of landing jokes compared to the others, or are they fairly balanced in that regard.

Bl4s coming out and now that we’ve seen the new vault hunters and now it’s not likely that the next siren will have tyreen’s powers. I’m sharing some action skill concepts I’ve been thinking about for a long time.

1: as this siren clenches her fist a target closest to your crosshair is drained of life, healing themselves. as this target is drained and eventually dies they turn to stone creating a shockwave that spreads out from the target that launches and damages nearby enemies. If preformed on a boss or an enemy that survives the whole effect they still release a wave and are if possible also flung. An augmented variant generates additional shockwaves as the target is drained, they are slightly less harmful and don’t launch.

2: this siren forms a large purple gem spike and propels it forward. On hit the spike deals incredible damage and a shotgun like blast flies out of their back. Any enemies killed by this are reduced to dust not gore. An augmented variant causes the struck enemies to leave a harmful DOT regardless if they were killed or not

3: this siren forms an ashen armor around her enhancing damage resistance , if preformed on an enemy the enemy is damaged extending the duration of the ashen armor adding a gemstone sheen. An augmented variant grants ricochet and spike at the cost of some or all damage resistance and some duration

I understand he’s not being setup as a playable Vault Hunter at all but one of my favourite things when I played him was the dialogue between him and his Digi-Clone. If they run a bar together or a gun shop or something in this one it would be perfect.

Also, the fact that Zane grew older but his Digi-Clone stayed young is awesome, leaving potential for some hilarious dysfunctional father/son dynamic.

So, after trying the lovely Garcia (would recommend) and the hellwanker (also would recommend), I have no idea for what shotgun to chase next. Jakobs shotguns are preferred, however, any shotgun will do the trick.

Soooo it’s been bout 15 years since BL1 released has ANYONE figured was Steeles siren powers were? Like it’s bothers me that it’s never been explained 😅

Side note: I’m hoping BL4 expands upon the 7th siren lore

I just started BL3 a little while ago, and I was starting to wonder where the not-so cringey NPC’s were and then BALEX showed up 😂 idk why but I feel like the dev team kind of swayed away from the occasional, “good” humor from the first two games in favor of the constant in-your-face humor and it just doesn’t really work for me. But as I mentioned, I do feel like the BALEX character/quest was done really well and reminded me of why I enjoyed the first games so much. There’s jokes for sure, but they all landed for me, and it was the first time I was happy to listen to a NPC lol.

Tiny Tina was one of my favorites in BL2 but that quickly went away when they pushed her character into a cringe level. These are just my opinions, though.
