Those are mainly the uptempo R&B styled vocal bass songs in english with little to no rap that immediately come to mind. //
I will post the new / newer stuff later (like "Visible" by Doc Nasty or "Always be my X" by Inoj, etc.) upon request if wanted. //
There are also Freestyle / Latin Freestyle / Electro-Freestyle tracks that are somewhat similar from artists like Angelina, Planet Soul, Rockell, Lil Suzy, Jossette, KromOzone Project, Jocelyn Enriquez, Nina Larez, Christina Marie, Adriana, Sharyn Maceren, etc.
Also, there are Latin Booty Bass tracks from people like Dj Laz, Jonny Z, El Presidente, To Kool Kris, Sir Elegance, etc. who produced / released a lot of Latin Booty Bass and sometimes Freestyle tracks in English and Spanish that are similar to the type of Bass Music that Freak Nasty, 69 Boyz, Mc Shy D, Quad City Djs, Dj Kizzy Rock, Kilo Ali, Kinsu, Hi Town Djs, Dj Taz, Dj Smurf (Now known as Mr Collipark) and Raheem The Dream etc. did throughout the 90s.
Old school stuff, not the trash they have coming out now.
Hey guys,
So I've been fucking around with Ableton Live for at least a year and never really had the persistence to stick at it until shit clicked... and it finally did (kind of, i dunno, you guys be the judge), and I love jersey club blablabla, so this is my own attempt at it. Feedback would be much appreciated! I started this at about 5pm (Hong Kong time) today, it's now 10:47pm.
It is a little on the short side just because I wanted to get this done and feedback given before the end of today, also, the piece isn't really much thematically, it's just a collection of melodies and very rhythm-oriented as jersey club usually is. This was an incredibly experience in terms of working with automators on instruments, with samplers etc. that was the part that never clicked for me, I'm a musician so I understand amateurish theory, and composition, and i've got decent ears, it was just always the DAW technicalities that i didn't stick at enough... but i feel i'm getting somewhere now with a good day's fucking around with it. let me know what you think, would be much appreciated!
