Anyone have the scoop?
Does anyone know if any obstacle courses or good parkour areas either in Boerne or Hill Country or any other nearby areas?
Are you in the market to build or would like more information on a custom home build process, please message me for my contact information. www.heritagecraftedhomestx.com
Anyone living in or heard anything (positive or negative) about the Perry communities in Boerne?
We moved to San Antonio recently and I’ve never been to Boerne. We would love to venture that way for things that are both kid/family friendly, and adult/date friendly! What’s your favorite things to do? Or are there events you love/recommend?
Hi! My husband is pushing for a move to Boerne. I’m leaning towards Alamo heights.
Which Boerne elementary school is the best in your opinion? Are they all fairly equal in quality? Trying to get more information before we make our decision. The online rankings vary widely from one site to another.
Hey y’all,
How come Boerne does not have its own gun range? Is it because Apache is close by? Maybe city rules/laws don’t allow for one to be built/zoned?
Just curious considering how red the town still is. Seems like someone could make a lot of money running a range there.
Hello. I'm making this post to see if anyone has any information on the Buccee's that was supposedly going to be built in Boerne. I'm not on any side of this argument. I'm curious as to whether it's happening, or not. Feel free to provide a source if you have one.
I was at a public event where there was a member of city council, and she said she wouldn't be able to answer any questions on the matter. She did seem to be very critical of the idea of a Buccee's in Boerne. That's what made me think to make this post.
Man, went to Boerne Lake today, never have I seen it so low. That KB development on the other side has a huge dock sitting on dry land. Drove down residential streets to see empty lots where fine, and in some cases, historic homes have been leveled. I know when developer who moved here ten years ago and fancies himself a good ole boy is driving prices up and tearing houses down. How many more are there with no roots in the area fucking things up? Pretty soon there won’t be a lake, or creek, or old home.
I’m looking to install a floor to ceiling chimney with an electric fireplace. Anyone recommend any reputable companies. I’ve been burned badly with unqualified contractors before and would like to avoid that again.
I think that the title explains the intention of this post. In your opinions, which establishment serves the best burger in Kendall County, Texas. To define “best”, I mean a combination of the factors of quality of ingredients and taste.
Personally, I don’t have an opinion. I ask because I notice that some users on this subreddit are knowledgeable about local restaurants.
I think this will be an interesting post.
In recent week, I've heard rumors that in 2025, Boerne might get a French restaurant. I decided to make a post about it on here.
Have you heard these rumors? If so, what are your thoughts? Do you know if they're true?
Personally, I'm not enthusiastic about it. I'd rather see a quality fastfood place or maybe a diner that imitates 1950's as opposed to a French restaurant, however, that's just my opinion.
Hello r/Boerne. I’m a member of Hill Country Toastmasters. It's a local organization that promotes public speaking, leadership skills, and, communication skills. The club is a a member of the Boerne Chamber of Commerce.
I wanted to let anyone on this sub reddit who's interested know that starting in January of 2025, the club will begin meeting at Morningside Ministries in Menger Springs. The address is 1100 Grand Boulevard, Boerne, TX 78006.
The meeting time won't be changing. It will still be between 7:00 and 8:00 in the morning every Thursday.
Feel free to ask questions in the comment section below, maybe if you've been in the club or a club, share your story. Additionally, don't hesitate to share this with anyone who might be interested. Maybe you know someone who has a New Year resolution to become a better public speaker or conversationalist.

Hello Boerne Reddit.
I have an old iPad, and unfortunately I dropped it on concrete, which shattered the screen. It still turns on, however, I'd like to get it fixed sooner rather than later. Does anyone know of a shop where I could get a new screen installed?
If not in Boerne, do you know of anywhere in: Fredericksburg, Kerrville, or, San Antonio?
I ask on here because I like to hear personal experiences as opposed to a Google search. I'm more likely to get an accurate reading of a business's quality from a recent Reddit comment, as opposed to a six year old five star review that was likely written by a friend or employee.
Hi! We are new to SA. My husband is interested in a build community in Boerne. Any feedback or experiences?
Thanks!
I thought that this might be an interesting post. Lately I've seen more license plates that are from North Dakota, New York, Illinois, and, many other states, in Boerne. I'm not looking for personal information, I'm more curious to see whose moving into the area. What makes Boerne different from your past home place?
From talking with people, it seems that it's not just Californians moving to Boerne, but also Coloradans, Arizonans, Michiganders, and, many others.
Feel free to share this post with any family or friends.
Where is everyone getting their small engine repairs done? I have a chainsaw that will not start. I used to take it to Bo’s, but looks like the property has been sold. TIA
I enjoy following "Best Of" lists as they give my wife and I something to try out and then probably argue about whether the experience lived up to the hype.. So we are planning on going to see "SA's best film director of 2024" movie at the cinema here the weekend it's showing. We want to know if his movie lives up to the hype of his reputation... Apparently the showing isn't til January. But I plan on reporting back on here about our personal takes of the film. Also it's Sherlock and my wife is a big fan. It's at the City Based cinemas in case you're interested..
Poll: In your opinion does the Government of the City of Boerne do a good job at representing the best interests of it's residents?
Before I get any comments, yes, I know that this is Reddit therefore this isn't a scientific poll, and it might not accurately represent what Boerneites think on this matter. My reasoning for this post is that I wanted to inspire a discussion about local politics, maybe myself and others might learn a thing or two, or hear a perspective that we hadn't before.
Feel free to share this poll with any family and friends who might be interested, futhermore, if you vote, feel free to post a comment explaining your opinion, and why you hold it.
Hello r/Boerne . Some time ago, I asked a similar question, in regard to sedevacantism. I'm asking this question out of curiosity to see if anyone in the area holds this view that the Pope is legitimate, however can no longer teach with authority, due to the policies established by the Second Vatican Council. I strongly disagree with this view, however, I do enjoy talking about religion and different religious perspectives, and I'd like to hear why you have this view, if you do. Like with sedevacantism, I think that this point of view will become popular in these United States, someday.
For those of you who don't know what sedeprivationism is, here's a Wikipedia article on it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedeprivationism
Hey guys. I wanted to let anyone who’s interested know that Murfit Fitness took over the Grindhouse M.M.A. Gym. I saw online that they have a boxing program.

Hey, to anyone out there who is even considering getting a dog.
We urgently need to find homes for 8 six-month old puppies, who's owner is unable to care for them. No shelters are able to take them and as you can guess, 8 puppies is too much to handle. The shelters are beginning to suggest euthanasia which we are trying to avoid at all costs, as they don't deserve that
They are mixed breed, but the father appears to be a lab. They would preferably go to a one dog household to give them the best life, but other options are welcome. Females are spayed but males have not been neutered.
The picture attached shows all of the puppies (Puppies do not including the black and white dog in the middle)
