I’ve recently gotten really into blues after watching the first season of Reacher and I’ve become obsessed with Robert Johnson especially because of all the folklore about him selling his soul to the devil. Any recommendations for artists or songs that have that dark/melancholy/slow feel like “Hellhound on my trail” and “Me and the Devil Blues”. Also does anyone know why Blues was considered “the devils music” and don’t say racism because I know that was part of it but it wasn’t just white people that thought that
